I was a good person in my life, at least I tried to be, but despite my good intentions, I’ve ended up in Hell, and it’s nothing like what I’d thought.
The nine levels of Hell have been divided and separated, and now they’re at serious risk from some unknown force. Monstrous creatures have started to invade and kill the queen’s redeemable citizens, and things are looking bad… even for Hell.
But apparently, I’m the guy who can fix everything.
All I have to do is somehow reunite the nine Demon Queens who hate each other and defeat the greatest evil Hell has ever seen.
Trying to finish this was like pulling teeth and I finally tapped out. I DNF this one. It was written so badly that it was a huge struggle to keep going and I basically made myself keep going from about 25% till about 60 and just couldn’t anymore.
After 25% I should feel invested, or at least interested, in the MC; however in this case I couldn’t have cared less what happened to him. He came across as a smug and arrogant twit. The constant “my queen, or my king” stuff made me physically cringe it was so bad.
I normally enjoy Eric’s stuff, but this one was truly awful. Series is DoA imo.
Interesting concept I can’t wait to see played out. MC loves solving puzzles, learning languages, and helping others but ends up in hell after saving a kid from being run over. Turns out for him the 9 levels of hell everyone talks about are just back to back escape rooms and his reward for solving all of them is the throne. Down side is that BBEG wants to destroy everything and the only way to stop him is to get to the tenth level of hell. Upside is that each level is ruled by its own queen that he’ll claim as his own, but there are differences that will need to be worked out between the queens. Can’t wait for book 2
There's not many books that are at all puts out I don't enjoy. This looks like it's going to be a fun series to read. A little bit of a different scenario when it comes to hell.
I don’t know if it’s the cover art or the beginning of the story but it reminds me of, “ Satan’s sorority girls “ which was an enjoyable read. Give this a try you won’t regret it.
An excellent introductory book in this new series with different slant to hell. There is plenty of magic, mystery, suspense, drama, horror, violence, and romance.
