Puma and Luck

It was a pleasure being a ARC reader for this beautiful project. The love Luck and Puma had for each even after 10 years was so beautiful. They didn’t linger in their anger and was able to talk and communicate. I would say Felicia didn’t get enough backlash for me, but she made it up a bit in the end.

Puma and Luck!!🔥🔥🔥

This book was an absolutely amazing and gripping read. Puma and Luck had a rocky past as two people who had an all-consuming love for each other that took an unexpected turn, shattering their love and leaving them enemies, both with deep emotional scars.

It's when Puma returned to The Hill and came face to face with Luck and her past that the story really started to take off. As Puma tried to make a difference in her community, long-lost feelings between her and Luck, as well as haunting memories, began to resurface. The more time they spent together and the closer they became, unforeseen enemies were determined to undermine and destroy Puma and Luck's relationship.

This book had me in my feelings!! I could not put my Kindle down for one second. The storyline had moments that were shocking, jaw-dropping, heartbreaking, beautiful, sensual, spine-tingling, funny, and eye-opening, all leading up to a very much deserved HEA for this amazing couple who had been through hell and back. I'm so glad that all those people who did Puma and Luck dirty got their karma. This book is a definite must-read, y'all. This was my first book by this author, but it is by no means the last.

I’m sorry but this was not a good read. The timing of the story was so sped up you could barely understand because I just kept saying “what??” The conversations were unrealistic. These people haven’t spoken at all in 10 years then twice when they having boring banter she almost kiss me??? He’s asked her so many time about leaving her in random conversations that’s happens in public places where he kept popping up every where she was???

The drama: these random women from her past happen to be mother and daughter ? They set us this scheme to get back at Luck because he left her??? It’s very possible but the way it was written it just seems so unrealistic and boring 🥱.

I was going to DNF at page 50 but I really wanted to make it to the end because I kept seeing it all over everywhere, I kinda wish I would have just stopped. It did not get better in my opinion.

Every conversation felt rushed, corny and some jut weird for me .

Overall I feel like it could have been a good story because the bones were there but the execution was not. The idea was perfect just fell flat.

Concrete Hearts delivered an emotional second-chance romance with strong chemistry. I loved the tension, the history between the Puma and Luck, and the message about healing and forgiveness. Some parts felt a bit rushed, especially toward the end, but I still got the point and felt the heart of the story. A solid urban romance that reminds you that some love never really fades.

Good story!

I dig those friends-to-lovers stories! Puma's mom was super controlling, calling the shots even when Puma wasn't feeling it. But she's a total go-getter who knows exactly what she wants.

Puma and Luck

I enjoyed this story. Despite the years apart, Puma and Luck picked up right where they left off. It was a cute love story that got straight to the point.
