When I started reading the book, I was both interested and put off with the main character. Interested because of her "job" and put off because of the hard hearted attitude she had with it. As the book progressed and she became more human, I was able to relate to her. The other characters made for an interesting mix and made the book more interesting. By the end, I was sorry that the book was finished. I would recommend this book for the mystery and the fact that it is possible for a person to change her outlook and aims in life.

Assassin to Amnesia

A woman on the way to a cruise begins to relax when she receives a notice that she is to murder someone at one of the island the ship visits. Her thoughts turn to retirement and, then, she fall on a wet floor and gets amnesia. She begins to relax and remember weird things in dreams, but doesn't recover before the book ends. It is full of romance and intrigue and I enjoyed it and the characters. I do feel a little off because of things that were not resolved. I don't like cliff hangers, they are like that itch you can't quit reach. 🙃

The Fire Within (The Marine Letsco Trilogy Book 1)

In the beginning Marine was a very lively confident person On board ship when she met Drake and they had a really sexy bond it was very cliched. When she lost her memory and started having flashbacks. I wondered who she would settle with Drake or the Doctor. Have to read Book 2 to see. An enjoyable book. Made you question how yourself would cope if this happened to you.

A top female assassin loses her memory

A top female assassin loses her memory. That was a very surprising twist to what seemed to be an interesting story about a female assassin.

Imagine your employer is paying for you to take a luxury Caribbean cruise. Imagine that your employer is an organization that sends out paid assassins for specific targets, and you are one of the assassins. Imagine that there are others on board who have an idea who you are, and have their own agendas about you. And then...imagine that you take a fall, hit your head, and wake up with amnesia. Suddenly, the beautiful assassin we've been following so far in the story turns into almost a totally different person. She has no idea of hurting anyone, much less killing them. But, when push comes to shove, she still has the old reflexes, even if she doesn't know where they come from. It was fun to chase this story (and it's only the start; although some things get wrapped up by the end, at least two sequels are announced as planned). It was also fun to get a firsthand look at the ins and outs of a luxury cruise (which must have made for some fun research!).

I really liked the cruise ship setting for this novel. It made me feel like I was right there on board. What can Marine get up to next? She kinda scares me- dangerous woman.

Assassin Under Fire

-Exciting and entertaining read. Marine is in her element on a Caribbean cruise ship but the tables turn when she isn't the only hired assassin on board.
