When Rose Calaway runs into Braden on her college campus, they quickly resume the friendship they had as teenagers. With the holidays approaching, they decide to make the trip back to Calaway Crossing together to celebrate with their families.
The half-day trip turns into an adventure when the blizzard they are trying to outrun catches up to them and strands them in a small town along the route. Taking the last room in a small B&B, they find themselves in the company of an eclectic group of fellow stranded travelers.
Will they spend Christmas with their new friends? Or will the storm break and let them go home for the holidays?
A Very Rosy Christmas is book 12 in the Calaway Crossing Series.
Leigh Spends her days with cute, sexy guys. Unfortunately, they’re on paper. But still, not a bad way to spend your day. She also writes about strong, independent women who can hold their own against these irresistible guys. She’s not a pure romance writer because she breaks the rules a bit. But that’s the fun part. Leigh’s stories have adventure, family relationships, and the struggles life throws at you sometimes. But boy always meets girl. They tussle a bit while they figure out what they really want. Then find their happily ever after, even though it might not be what they thought it was going to be. But the most amazing thing about this is, she does it all with a dog on her lap. Her muse may not be one of her book boyfriends. But a cute dog is the next best thing.
Childhood friends they reconnected when she was in College. His job was in Portland and hers was back home. However love always finds a way. This couple is perfect, two characters with depth and feelings. Calaway Crossing feels like home, how I wished I lived there.
As usual, Leigh Fenty writes another great Calaway romance. It was lovely to read Rose's story after " watching " her grow up in the previous books. The series is full of loveable characters who make up a strong family. This is just one more example of why I love Leigh's stories. Keep the Callaway books coming!
This whole series is fantastic! I fell in love with characters of Callaway Crossing. Hate to see the series end, but all Leigh Fenty's books are awesome. One of my favorite authors!
