I thought this was a cute read. The chapters flowed well from one pov to the next. Both MC went through so many emotional struggles which made the book interesting. My only issue with it overall is they felt very much like a high school couple when they are mid to late 20s. Overall I would recommend this read

I was locked into this book from the beginning. Elaine has been through alot in life, including an ex boyfriend found hiding in her attic. She decides it's time for change and moves away from the city and back to the small town she really liked. Jace was involved in a car accident with his best friend when they were younger, his best friend happens to be Elaine's brother. Their friendship was ruined over that accident. When Elaine returns to small town living, she returns where Jace remained. One look at Elaine at an odd moment, puts her in Jace's sight. What would her family think if she was interested in Jace? The twists and turns kept me turning pages and I finished this book in less than seven hours!!!! This was a great book and I really enjoyed reading it!

Elaine and Jace’s story was cute ! They both fell quick and hard and were swooning over each other. I did sometimes want to pinch Elaine due to some of her actions but I enjoyed this story nonetheless.

Jace was so sweet and patient with Elaine and never rushed her through their journey that they went through and I felt so much for him due to his past. Harden pissed me off SO BADD!

FINDING US by IYANNA FULLER PEART ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4.3 / 5)

Finding Us is Iyanna’s debut novel

Following a noxious relationship, Elaine Ross starts over. New life, new home, a budding career and definitely no more relationships. But then, by chance, she meets Jace Roberts, the man responsible for a devastating car accident that almost cost her brother’s life a decade ago. She should hate him, shouldn’t want anything to do with him, but there’s just something about him that breaks through her reservations.

Despite knowing there could be deep repercussions, and each fighting their own confusion and guilt, the pair slowly grow closer, determined to look forward, to not dwell on the past.

Elaine finally thinks her future could be bright, but the path to true love never runs smooth….

This was a delightful romantic suspense, that drew me in from the beginning. Both MC’s are engaging and it was great seeing them both work through their own issues whilst growing together. The story is paced well and the slow burn between the pair perfect, leading up to some open door spicy scenes. That said the spice was in no way gratuitous, was tastefully written and worked towards cementing the couple’s growing relationship.

I have to say I truly didn’t see the end coming. My mind had played it out differently and the scenes at the end and the double twist truly had my heart pounding, my adrenaline spiking and my stomach roiling. Bravo!

As a debut book for this author it is outstanding! The story runs smoothly and certainly kept me engaged - I got so invested I couldn’t put the darn thing down, to the point I actually read it within 24 hrs. That said I found the MC’s relationship a bit ‘saccharine’ at the beginning and there were a couple of tiny details towards the end that irritated me ( no spoilers, you’ll just have to read to see if you agree with me 😘). Hence the 4.3 /5 score (rounded down). I will most definitely be following this exciting new author in the future and look forward to more of her work! I highly recommend this book.

This book took me on a rollercoaster of emotions. I fell in love with Jace and Elaine and I became invested in their story. This story kept me trying to guess what would happen Jace was loyal and true to himself while his character developed throughout the story Elaine was trying to move on and find herself. These two had a connection that no one could tear apart. They had chemistry with lots of Spice. This is a cannot miss book
