This book was truly magical! Jessica captivates me in a way that tickles something in my brain. I love the Easter egg’s included in this book and truly appreciate the writing style and how descriptive Jessica writes and relates to things.

This book is truly like something I haven’t read before, it was beautiful, flowed and the story between Pen and Adelaide, Carolyn and Rowland with POV from John Dee Journal was truly MAGIC! I didn’t want it to end, I would love this book to be made into a film. It’s beautiful. Perfectly captured. Time travel, love and grief all wrapped up into this book- Mystery, moths and magic! I absolutely adored it and watching the characters grow and manifest into the timelines. You can tell that a lot of study, reading, love, creativity and passion flooded this book.

I appreciated the songs included and I listened as I read to really fall into the story it felt I was there with them experiencing time exactly as they were. I am so glad I read this. Truly a beautiful, magical and wonderful story, thank you Jessica for creating this wonder.

I haven’t read Great Gatsby either and after connecting to the characters in this and both Pen and Adelaide seemingly loving it- “after each others hearts” and related in some way as I related to them I am intrigued to give that a go and dive into some more of Jessica’s work too.

Thoroughly enjoyed the audiobook of this captivating and timeless story of time-0crossed lovers!
Jessica Dodge meets HG Wells; but rather than Morlocks and Eloi there's booksellers Roland, Pen, and Adelaide. The dual narration really helped bring the story to life! Dodge's writing suggests she, herself, might be a nephilim!
