Wow! What an insanely fast paced, tension packed ride!

This is book two in the series and it starts right where book one left off, throwing us right back into the middle of the action, cutting over seamlessly from the first book.

The author's writing style is superb and the world she's continuing to build in this book is magnificent! We keep learning more and more about this world and magic system alongside Ambrose, who grows so much throughout the story, learning to finally trust in herself and her powers.

The plot twists and turns throughout the story are just insane! Most of them I did not see coming!!

And that cliffhanger at the end?? I NEED the next book now! Or, like, yesterday!!

Thank you so much Taryn Knightly for letting me beta-read your book! I thoroughly enjoyed the "torture" and am truly looking forward to the book's release so I can re-read the final version :)

WOW, just WOW!
This book is a wild ride from start to finish, brimming with tension, female rage, strong badass characters, action and plot turns and twists!
Taryn Knightly does not shy away from causing us distress and pain. No one is safe and there is no calm middleground in this book. From chapter one you get thrown straight into the plot and people will die, you will be worried and anxious pretty much all of the time but you will LOVE every second of it!

Inbetween all the action-riddled plot you also find roots of a magick system weaving itself into every part of the story. Its intricate, detailed and full of life. Its also in the way Taryn Knightly writes, amongst all the chaotic, intense moments you find these sentences and parts of pure poetry.
”He was the embodiment of the night sky. Eternity given physicality.”

But even with all that, the one reason you should read this book is because of Ambrose, her strength, her dedication, her rage and her love for the people is what gives this book that spark that every book needs.

I am forever grateful to Taryn Knightly for giving me the opportunity to read (suffer through) this book! ❤️

I just finished an alpha read and wow. Just wow! This picks up where book 1 left off. The action is non stop. Ambrose learns so much about her world. The reader learns things Ambrose does not yet know. It's really really good! There are so many dragons, of all shapes and sizes and types. There are nail biting, pulse pounding moments beginning from the very first page! So good!

The continuation of this story had me on the edge of my seat. I legit could not put it down and when I had to leave to go do big girl things I couldn’t wait to get back to it. Ambrose is one hell of a main character! All I can say is dragons. I am such a sucker for dragons. This book continued with the epic world building and incredible fight scenes. I seriously look forward to book number three.

Edit: the book will be longer than what was done in the Alpha read so expect it to be just as long if not longer than Immortal Origins.

Taryn gave me the opportunity to read this book before it went to editing and help provide feedback on the story’s progression. This is book two in the Chronicles of the Immortal Trials series. While this book is shorter than book one it packs a lot of world building into the pages. Taryn gives us more history of the world, we meet new characters, and multiple different species of dragons. Immortal Secrets is full of magick, bonded riders, and well secrets. If you enjoyed book one I would highly recommend giving book two a read. Just know the first 3/4 of the book focus on world building.
