“I can’t resist. You are exactly my type. Now be a good pet and sit on my lap.”
Peter thought he'd always be too afraid to donate blood, until he met the reserved Draven. The only man he trusted, even if the man was oddly obsessed with Peter's neck and never smiled.
He was supposed to find a girlfriend at the campus Halloween party. No one could resist a sexy vampire. Not even Peter - and there Draven was, fangs bared in a grin, too irresistible to ignore.
Halloween was the perfect time to give in to his bi-curious side. He didn't expect Draven to be so electric. So dominant. Like he wanted to devour Peter down to the last drop.
Peter had never felt so desired - it was love at first bite.

2.5⭐️ A short and fun novella about a college guy named Peter who wants to get over his fear of blood, and the vampire that helps him do it.
If you’re looking for something quick and easy to read, and like vampire MM books, then this one is for you. Though the writing quality isn’t great, and it’s pretty silly, I still had fun reading.
Peter's friend Alex was accompanying him to a bloodmobile to be a blood donor. He had always feared the process of giving blood, but Alex is trying to help him get over it. He was going to college to become a nurse and he had to get over his fear of needles and blood. He had expected they would go to the usual red or white vehicle, not an ominous black one with darkened windows! He remembered hearing rumors this was the vampire blood merchant's truck, but Alex assured him vampires were not real. They walked up to a tall man and Alex introduced Draven to Peter. Alex waited in a chair outside while Draven and Peter went inside the vehicle. Peter sat in a comfortable chair and looked up at the "fake" bats hanging from the ceiling. Dravan asked if he could identify each type, an effective way of distracting Peter through concentrating on the bats he is so fond of. He was told to keep his eyes up and call them out. Draven mentioned one of them had been injured a few days ago... which confused Peter a little. A slight pinch in his arm was all he felt as he continued to look up at the fascinating bat collection. At one point, he thought Draven was about to kiss him, but he announced he was all finished! So Peter figured he was probably just trying to fluster people with his "vampire act".
A Halloween party was being held on campus and Peter had to get a date. Peter has always been fascinated with bats and the vampire stories. Imagining Draven as a vampire thrills him, although he knows that would be impossible. But he finds Draven is attending the party. Will his fondest wish become a reality after all? Or will they simply remain friends?
When I heard about this special Halloween series, I couldn't wait for October to start so I could start reading these books. How lucky I am to be able to read an arc so I can enjoy this book before October.
The book starts cute with his friend embarrassing Peter to help him get over his fear of needles and blood by taking him to Draven to give blood. Embarrassing him some more by telling Draven is hot and Peter should use him to be his first bi curious experience. The blood giving is all set up in a vampire setting, a thing Peter is into, making it better for him.
I like the slow going between the two, until the night of Halloween. Peter searches for Draven and tries to give hints that he wants to go further.
But the night of Halloween what happened there was such a nice and steamy read. Worth the waiting and building up to.
Only "bad" thing about the book? It could have had more chapters about what was happening after Halloween.
This is a vampire x human supernatural romance novella, featuring Peter and Draven, and is book one in the Halloween Temptation multi-author series.
Peter never expected to find himself falling for the mysterious Draven, a reserved man with an obsession for his neck and a secret hidden behind sharp fangs.
What starts as a bi-curious Halloween fling quickly turns into an irresistible, electric connection that feels like love at first bite.
This was such a fun, spicy little Halloween read. Peter and Draven’s connection was instant, with just the right mix of playful, dark, and sexy. This one was short, steamy, and perfect for spooky season.
Things to expect in this book are: Book 1 Multi-author series MM supernatural romance Novella Age gap Halloween party Vampire x Human Blood/neck obsession Bi curious Dom vibes First times Spicy times Coffin s*x Love at first sight/bite HEA
A cute read Peter has always dreamed of being a nurse, but he has a major problem. He doesn’t like needles and he doesn’t like blood so his friend takes him to a blood drop van and this is where he meets Draven. And this starts a kind of friendship with Draven. Peter looks out for him all the time so he can go back and be near him. He’s the only person who has distracted him enough to take Blood and for Peter not to faint. He has also opened up his bisexual awakening . When it’s coming up to Halloween Draven asked if he’s going to the party and Peter confirms he’s going and this is when everything weird starts to happen every thought the Peter has had of Draven comes through. There is a cuteness to this book to go with the vampires and the werewolves who knew they were real. I’ve got to say it was an enjoyable read. It’s a quick read spicy and hot a good part of this Halloween series.

Peter is a future nurse who has a fear of needles and blood, which is a bit of a hindrance for his aspirations. Draven is a mysterious man who owns a blood donation van. So when Draven is the only one who Peter can give blood to without fainting, Peter has to find out if that's a one off or if he can do it consistently. Of course trying with anyone else just leads to fainting... but it works with Draven. There are all kinds of very interesting twists and turns and we find out if Draven really is a vampire or not - I'm not saying either way, you'll need to read it to find out! But the story is fun and has a lot of warmth in all the best ways.

Peter wants to be a nurse but can’t seem to get over his squeamishness around needles and blood. His friend Alex takes him to a blood mobile to assist him. The man running the blood draw is handsome and very sexy. Draven is able to distract Peter while drawing blood. In fact, he’s so successful that Peter goes back again and again convincing himself that it’s for the assistance and not because he’s bi-curious.
Peter secretly hopes the sexy goth phlebotomist is a vampire even though he knows they aren’t real. Or are they?

What to do when you are a nursing student and can't stand needles or the sight of blood? Go to a blacked out van to get blood drawn by a hot guy of course. Peter is so cute with his inability to draw blood due to his, well fainting. Draven is a pro with distraction and needles. I enjoyed this novella that brings together a nursing student and older vampire. Their relationship starts slowly and builds to a friendship through blood donations. Fun and perfect for Halloween.
A fun Halloween read. A somewhat naive Peter 'donates' blood to a vampire without realizing he is real. Peter is very attracted to him anyway and the feeling is mutual. Some laugh out loud moments keep you rooting for the HAE for these two. I thought it ended too soon and would have liked to have seen what happened next.

A short halloween story with Draven, a vampire, and Peter who's human. Peter is terrified of needles and blood which is a problem since he wants to be a nurse. Draven is the only one he trusts so Peter goes to Draven's donation van to give blood. Peter is very fascinated with bats and vampires and wishes for Draven to be one, even if he doesn't believe it's possible. At halloween he meets up with Draven at a party and from then on Peter's biggest wish becomes reality. An all-consuming spicy short story with bi awakening, age gap and of course necking. I loved it.
Peter has a fear of having his blood drawn which makes it hard to be a nurse. He goes to donate blood to the guy they call the Vampire Blood Merchant, Draven. He makes him feel special and is able to draw Peter's blood. In this Halloween short, Peter finds all he's looking for in Draven who falls completely for him also. I received a copy of this through BookSprout and this is my voluntary opinion.
As with much of this Authors writing, it vivid, clear and strong. We get a well structured and put together book that you enjoy reading and finishing. For an enjoyable read that will leave you with a smile and wanting more, enjoy this short story.

Necking with a Vampire is about Peter who is afraid about needles and he is studying to be nurse, so his friends know blood donation place were Peter can learn how to donate blood without fainting. Peter comes always back to donate blood to Draven, who is a vampire.
Very good quick smutty read.

Had a very interesting story line with plenty of interesting spice. My biggest complaint is i want more of the main couple and this story wasn't enough for me.

I honestly loved this book. It's what I can describe as a fast paced romance. It's definitely different than other books by this author given that it's a pnr, but still carries the signature steam of all his books. I absolutely loved it! It's a great holiday read!
Vampire necking was not on my list of kinky tropes, but alas, here we are. I'm definitely not leaving! What better way to get over a fear than by getting under the savior?.
