It was only supposed to be a part-time babysitting job. Then the wildfires swept through the valley. Now I’m stuck at a Napa winery with the three guys who run the place. And considering what they look like? Things could be a lot worse.
Luke Ashford, the dark-and-handsome owner whose son I’m nannying. After inheriting the winery, he needs a lot of help getting things up and running–even though I soon become the best kind of distraction for him. Beckett Montgomery, the London-born business manager who reminds me of David Beckham. His sarcastic wit and knowing smile make my heart race whenever we cross paths on the sprawling property. Hunter Jones, the goofball marketing expert for the winery. Tall and lean, he has a sense of humor that keeps me smiling despite the deadly wildfires.
I spend my days nannying the baby, And my nights having sweaty, steamy fun with these three incredible men. Can the four of us survive the wildfires and get the business up and running? Or will this winery–and our blooming relationship–wither on the vine?
LAKEHOUSE NANNY is a spicy forced-proximity reverse harem romance. There’s no cheating, no cliffhangers—and a guaranteed HEA!
Zero depth. If you want a steamy, straight to it, reverse harem this is for you. I would have DNFd but was checking spice level for a friend. Not that any of them are believable but there was no building of anything, no details.
I was pretty back and forth on giving it a 2 or 3 star rating and ultimately decided to go with a 2. Cassie's books aren't usually full of depth, but they are deeper than this one was.
The spice starts pretty quickly, which normally I love, but there was literally zero relationship development, and then bam.. sex. Luke basically hired her five seconds before they got their romp in. It is pretty spicy in terms of how many scenes (12-ish if you count the chapters - four or so of those are just long, drawn-out scenes over multiple chapters). I've been wanting some single-parent romance lately, which is why I grabbed this one, but Ali was a half-and-half nanny, and Charlie (Luke's son) was sleeping 24/7 so the adults could screw like bunnies.🐰
I personally love me some MM romance mixed in the harems, but this one was thrown in randomly. There was no "wow they're actually going to get together!" bi-awakening moment or lead up to it. At the beginning of the book, Ali assumes Beckett and Luke are together, and they make jokes about it, and it's clear that they aren't into each other. Literally none of them show any sort of interest in each other at any point in the book before they do anything together, but then when they share Ali, they're kissing and giving each other head, same with Hunter. That's the extent of the mm, bjs/hjs/kissing. At least let them romp too, even outside of group scenes. I think what bothered me most was that the authors wanted to give us MM, but when the group scenes were over, the men acted like they weren't connected on that same emotional depth as they were with Ali. Let them love each other, too.
I love me some spice, and you'll definitely get it in this book. But if you're hoping for a good plot and spice, you won't find that here. She's meant to be a nanny to a four, almost five, year old little boy, but 85% of the book she's sleeping with his dad and his dad's best friends. If you're looking for lots of spice and little plot, this will be great for you. 🖤
With this book not being detailed in terms of development and growth, we don't really get to see who the characters are as people, and we don't get their backstories. We never learn who Charlie's mother was or what happened to her. It's basically pushed under the rug, leaving us with unanswered questions. There's no real description of what Hunter and Luke look like, other than random comments later in the book mentioning dark stubble (Luke) and curly hair (Hunter). At one point, the book mentioned Luke's eyes were darker than usual, but that could mean just about any color lol. Other than that, the only characters we have a good insight into physical features are Beckett and Ali.
Charlie was such a cute character, and I wish we had gotten to see more of him.

I very much enjoy Cassie Cole’s books. She makes you feel adored even though you’re not the main character. You feel drawn in by her writing style and it’s hard to put her books down.
To me this was a spicy rom com. I loved every minute of it. TBH I was kind of over the whole three dudes one girl trope but this one pulled me in and was amazing.
Luke Ashford owns and operates Ashford Winery in the Napa Valley. He needs a nanny for his very busy, very cute 4 year old son. But when Ali pulls up in her beat Civic and cracks jokes he can’t help but want her around. For more than just being the nanny.
Hunter and Beckett both live in the big house on estate with Luke and help him run the winery. They are just as invested in its success as Luke is, so naturally they are curious about who he will choose to help look after little Charlie.
Hunter is the online guru with the sexy California surfer vibes, while Beckett has the English gentleman thing going for him, and Luke is all dominance, and alpha male possessive. These three can’t seem to get Ali out of their heads and wind up with her at different times. Falling head over heels at the worst possible time.
While the California wildfires threaten to take everything Luke, Beckett and Hunter holds dear, Ali is fighting the fire inside herself trying to figure out how to keep her job while enjoying the attention of these three hot and horny men. And will she have to choose because she isn’t sure she can.
This story was endearing, sweet, funny and spicy. I love the dynamic of each pairing and there was a little mm action so if that bothers you I would skip reading this book.
Ali is a struggling artist who has painters block and this magical house offers her views that allow her creativity to shine through again. However it’s not the spectacular views that unlock her talents as much as the attention and adoration from three hotter than sin men living in the house.
I love how smitten Charlie is with Ali right off the bat. Everything about his tiny self took me back to when my kiddos were that size and everything was fun and imaginations soared.
While this story is make believe it feels real. The love, the trust, the heat, all of it pulled me in and held me strong. I kept waiting for a surprise pregnancy but that never came which I was happy about because it would have been too typical.
I highly recommend this book if you love a good poly trope, with heat, laughter and lots of love.

Ali Fairfax is a twenty-seven year old painter. She is going to an interview for a job as a nanny. She wants to go to art college but has no portfolio pieces to submit. For the last year, her mind goes blank the second she picks up a brush. The nanny interview is at Ashford Winery.
Luke Ashford has a son named Charlie who is almost five. Beckett Montgomery is one of Luke’s best friends and he helps Luke run the winery. Hunter Jones is Luke’s other best friend and he is the marketing director for the winery. The men have been running the winery for the last year or so.
Charlie likes Ali and so does Luke, so he hires her. Charlie is into reptiles and he also makes Ali make a grilled cheese sandwich for his snack. Hunter comes in the kitchen to tell them that the winds have shifted and there are wildfires nearby. All the roads in or out of the valley are closed down for now. Ali is stuck at the winery with the men and Charlie.
Interesting dynamic between the three best friends. I loved that being stuck at the winery inspired Ali to start painting again. I enjoyed the story.

Entertaining RH story about Ali Fairfax an artist who decided to restart her life. Ali applies for a nanny job at Ashford Winery and meets Luke. During the interview she meets Beckett. Ali praises them on what a great couple they make and when they tell her they're business partners she runs out embarrassed. Luke follows her to her car and tells her she's hired. Entering the house again she meets four-year-old Charlie who threw a plastic lizard at her. Charlie likes her and shows her his bug book and room. When snack time comes, she meets Hunter the third partner. What ensues afterward when the roads are blocked because of the fires was an entertaining story with interesting characters, touches of drama and humor, instant attraction among our leading characters, adorable Charlie, and steamy romance to entice in this copy I'd received and volunteer to read and review.
This book was super spicy but really good. It starts with Ali Fairfax, who is applying for a nanny position at a vineyard looking after the owner, Luke Ashford’s son Charlie. While being interviewed, she meets Beckett Montgomery and Hunter who both work at the winery. Ali gets the job and before she gets started, the roads are closed due to the wildfires in the area being too dangerous. Before they know it, the steam is rising between Luke and her, followed by Beckett and finally Hunter. The danger of the fire threatens all in the area, most especially everyone at the vineyard. Before they know it, feelings have become mixed up in their attraction, and even eventually the fires are under control, but they love life only gets hotter. There is a HEA for all involved.

Ali is traveling a ways from home to apply for a job as a nanny. She is awaiting art school and needs to make money until school starts. She travels to the interview and gets hired. The young boy she will be caring named Charlie is adorable. The father, Luke is the owner of this winery. Luke's best friends work for him named Becket and Hunter. The guys all love Charlie and help to care for him. All is well until the wild fires close in on them. There is much work to be done to try to secure the winery as best they can. Ali's mom wants her to come home so she stays alive. Ali can't tell her it's already too late as the access road is closed. They all develop a hot sex life as a poly amorous quadruple. I never thought I'd say this but too much sex. Overall a very good book.
I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we meet Ali Firfax, Luke Ashford, Beckett Montgomery, & Hunter Jones. Ali is ready for a new adventure in her life. Though her mother worries about her she is determined to do her own thing. When she gets to the house though she can't believe how attractive all the men who live there are. Luke's first priority is defiantly his son, one look at Alit though has him wondering if he has been to narrow minded. When he two roommates realize who Ali is they will do anything they can to keep her there. When mother nature tends to help them they know they will do anything to keep her. Can they all find a HEA or will mother nature make sure none of them have a future?
Amazing story by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Ali goes for an interview and is trapped with them due to the wildfires. There is attraction between Ali, Luke, Beckett and Hunter which becomes more. I liked how everyone pitched in to try to save the vineyard and in looking after Charlie. I liked the idea that Ali came up with that helps the victims of the wildfire and indirectly the vineyard. I was glad when the wildfire is brought under control and they are safe. And even better is how all four fell in love. Ali's dream comes true in another way and improves as well.
This was a fast-paced sweet and spicy reverse harem with a sense of humor. I had a blast reading this book with plenty of swoony/steamy moments. I devoured this cute why-choose easily. Not only was the plot adorable but the characters were as well. I loved how there were multiple POV and how their relationship developed. The characters' personalities meshed so well together and the chemistry was fire.

She thought it would be a temporary job, but Ali gets so much more when she finds herself stuck when a wildfire sweeps through the valley closing all the roads. Beckett, Luke and Hunter are friends and together they run the winery. When Ali takes the temporary job as nanny sparks fly between her and the three men that starts their path. It is a heartwarming story filled with spirit along with the savory sweet surprise of finding love when you least expect it. Little Charlie tied it all together making it a wonderful story.

Hot Dads + Lake Vibes = Yes Please! This book has everything I want in a reverse harem romance—sweet nanny, gorgeous single dads, and a lakehouse getaway that turns into so much more. The chemistry between the heroine and each of the men is off-the-charts, but what makes it extra good is the mix of fun, flirtation, and real heart. I loved how each guy had his own personality and charm—it kept things exciting and made me root for them all. Add in the cozy lakeside setting, and it feels like the perfect mix of comfort and spice. Cassie Cole nailed it with this one—I didn’t want to put it down!.

Lakehouse Nanny is the story of Ali, Luke, Beckett and Hunter. There is also Luke's four year old son Charlie. Luke owns a winery in Napa Valley with Beckett and Hunter working alongside and helping run the business. He needs a nanny to help with Charlie and that ends up being Ali. Of course the three guys all want her, as she is beautiful, smart, funny, warm, intelligent, and of course sexy. Ali finds a lot more than a job on the winery, she finds family and love with all of the guys. This is a sweet, funny, entertaining and smexy hot book. I really loved the characters and the story-line was easy and romantic, while also having some tension.
Great read. Hoping to make some money and find inspiration for her art piece for she applies to art college, Ali applies for a nanny job at a winery. There she finds the adorable Charlie is loving and easy to look after and his Dad and owner of the winery is HOT!! As is his two friends, Beckett and Hunter. However not long after she arrives the wildfires block them all in at the winery. She soon finds that she is attracted to all three men and they to her but how will this work out? This is a great love story with laughter, hot sexy scenes and a smart loveable kid stealing the show.

Fire 4 ¾ stars - Set against the backdrop of California fires, this is a story of Ali finding her forever family. Luke, Becket and Hunter own a winery that is close to the fire. Every day is a wait and see if they are going to lose their home. Ali, an aspiring artist, applied to be the nanny to Luke’s son. The attraction was obvious from the very beginning. Once Ali decided to let go, the steamy scenes were unstoppable. I like that the author showed the readers not just the relationship between her and the guys. The story also showed how the three are close to each other. It’s a good bedtime read. I received an advanced copy and voluntarily chose to review it.
Ali is on an interview for a nanny job when fires in the area shut down roads and trap her at the winery. Luke, Beckett and Hunter are friends running the winery and as the time with Ali extends, things heat up. This is a very steamy (lite MM in this one), RH romance due to a forced proximity situation. Aside from the threat of the fire this is mostly about the growing relationship between the four of them and the little boy who adds some humor to it all.

I really enjoyed this book. The characters were great, I could have done maybe half the spice honestly. I’m disappointed that we never got any information on Charlie’s mother, not even an insinuation as to where she is.
That being said, everything wrapped up in a tight little bow and I look forward to finding the Author’s other work. I’m already a huge fan of CC.
Big spoiler. There wasn’t a warning about the multiple MM scenes. I won’t yuck somebody’s yum, but it’s just not my thing.
Fiery! Ali answers a job ad for a nanny as a stopgap while trying to find the inspiration to paint. While the attraction to Luke (along with Beckett and Hunter) is immediate, they try to stay professional (but not for long, wink wink!). But wildfires burn around the winery - can they stay safe? Charlie is a hoot, Ali is likeable and relatable, and then men - phew - they are steamy! I loved how they brought the heat with minimum romantic tension (but plenty of external tension). A fantastic read.
The interview was perfect and the way she ran out thinking the worst is so something I would have done. When Luke goes out to get her and asks her to stay is even better. The way Beckett acts is the complete opposite of Luke and Hunter. They all have different personalities but they each pull something different from her. They way they work as a team to save everything was just part of what shows what a future could look like for them. I would love to read more.

Absolutely loved reading this brilliantly written and captivating book. The story was fantastic and the characters amazing, a lot of action both in and out of the bedroom with Ali and three hot vineyard owners. There are plenty of twists as the story progresses with enough chemistry and sizzling scenes to heat up the room. One of my favourite authors for Reverse Harem genre and the like, cannot wait to read more books by the fabulous Cassie Cole.

Three strong handsome men and an adorable little boy in need of a nanny. A nanny who finds everything she needed for her home. A wildfire burning out of control threatens everything. Fighting to save his vineyard and protect his family. Taking steps to help the community as it starts to recover from the disaster.
This RH story was hard to get into. The sex scenes were hot and steamy but still had hard time with this story. Could not feel the chemistry between the four of them. I could not find the relationships believable.

5/5 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 1/5 Plot story line 🚣 80% of the book is sex
The begining until mid book was good and sexy, but after that was too many sex scenes one after another, I got tired of them was a LOT and then something started to happened between two men like gay situation. There is not dept here never is just SEX!
The story of a lost art student that needs direction. Decides to nanny for a winery owner and his best friends/employees. Fires and lockdowns happen and relationships start. Lots of spice sometimes a little too much I found myself skimming over the parts. Happy ending
Luke and his business partners Beckett and Hunter are getting their winery up and running. Luke needs a nanny for his son Charlie and hires Ali after an embarrassing interview. She falls for Charlie and all three men. Loved their sweet and steamy story. Received a free copy.
I really enjoyed this book. It was an easy read & held my attention the whole way through. The spice was excellent! The writing is great & the characters very loveable!
Despite my 3 star rating, this book isn’t bad. It’s just not my jam. But if you’re into nanny stories that take place in and around the Napa Vineyards, then this might hit the spot for you!
