There’s no point in my usual summary of what to expect…

You know when you finish a book that was mind-bendingly (I know, not a real word) twisty and all you can say is “what the fuck”? What comes after that? Like what do you say when “what the fuck” isn’t enough to describe the fuckery? If you get what I'm saying, that is what to expect from Stalked. It's fucking deranged in the best possible way.

A couple of thoughts: I was frustrated with Haven’s treatment of Melissa. I’m glad we had considerably more of the story from Kai and Batian’s perspective this installment. Bastian was far more predator than protector than in Broken. With all that has transpired, I’m really not sure what Logan can possibly throw at us for the conclusion. One thing is certain, the fuckery is far from over!!

After finishing the first book, I immediately started the second one, expecting more interesting developments, tension, story, etc.

First: the way the book described the triggers happening under dr*gs? OK, very realistic.
Second: no, thank you.

The first... I don't know, 15% at least, was basically one giant sex scene. And I'm not against that, BUT considering the circumstances and MFC's state at the time... no, thank you. That was actually very stupid and very unrealistic to me. Someone who has just experienced psychosis because of a bad trip... who is going to have sex in that situation? For me, this was a HUGE no-no and the first time I seriously considered DNFing the whole series.

I finally made my decision when I got to the part where MFC is thinking about kissing Kai, but the kiss apparently won't be the same because his lips don't have Bastian's c*m on them anymore... bitter, salty, warm 🥱😵‍💫🙄

It just keeps getting better! Let’s add the professor to the mix now. This guy is deranged. A whole new twisted level of hot psycho. I can’t get enough of these books. They’re packed with every dark and twisted scabrous scenario and trite one could hope for. That easily makes these my faves. I’m so invested in these books. I absolutely love Haven and Kai, and not Bastian. They’re so freaking hot together.

I genuinely would never recommend this book to anyone lol. From the beginning it was a bit everywhere, like I just felt so confused at many parts of the story. They're constantly doing drugs, all the main characters pretty much despise one another, but they all keep screwing around anyway?

Also, I would definitely check your TW for this one, because there is mention of r*pe by the MMC to the FMC. This is also the main reason I rated this so low because.... that is not hot to me, sorry!

This book had amazing potential, like Kai's bi awakening with Bastian could have been soooo good. The way he called him "Boy" had be sweating for real. Haven and Bastian could have been such a sexy dynamic as her professor buttt oh well. I wasted almost 700 pages of my time lollll don't make the same mistake!!

The story picks up where it left off with one who wanted to punish her and the other wanted to possess her. On one side is the boy from her past who's now a monster filled with rage is convinced that she's a whore who needed to be taught a lesson. And now these two sociopath each wants her for themselves cranking up the cruelty, depravity, torture, madness, spice, psychological mind games, possessiveness, power play, power and control, debauchery, humiliation, obsession and from the previous book, with Bastian unraveling even more. He wants her compliant, broken and completely his even when she's asleep total control. And to top it the greedy manipulative, deranged, psychotic, charming bastard who lures them both in his bed wants them both.
She may hate Kai, but he's her monster to fight alone. Although they're both cruel and crazy she's drawn to the darkness that they bring out inside of her and show that she's equally psychotic like them. The more time that three of them spend together the trauma comes out and why they're the way they are. Another great great with these three can't wait for next book.

Not for me

TLDR: 4 stars because while not for me, I recognize this is a good book/outlet for those who are looking to read those themes. I give it 4 not 5 because the story, while intriguing, is a bit confusing in the choices and either super on the nose, or feels like it misses the point.

But that could just be me interpreting it a certain way and getting disappointed in some of the choices. I think maybe I got used to the other books I've been reading where it does start driving towards a happy ending, while this seroes i have felt knocked down with Haven at every kick, punch, slam.

Listen. I took a chance after reading the warnings for Book 1. Book 1 was rough at parts for me (subject matter wise) but the story had me intrigued. Desperately wanting Haven to get a happy ending.

This one almost joined my DNF pile. This one i didn't read the warnings, expecting similar themes to Book 1. While several similar things, i found myself putting it down and searching for another book but morbid curiosity kept bringing me back.

In a way, the more i think about it, just like Haven to these fuckass guys.

Bastion became a real villain in my eyes this book. Every POV of his made my stomach turn and I kept thinking to myself "Get away from her!"

And this ending??? I can't imagine reading the 3rd book out of fear what is going to happen next. Just the thought making me hate that man more, which is probably the point but man I cannnooootttt.

I think I'll imagine Haven and Kai spend an extended amount of time at the beach, hate fucking their issues out until they get to as healthy of a place as they possibly can given their history.

I'll imagine, wherever Bastion is driving to, he gets pulled over by Thatcher and arrested for i don't even care what. Murder, assault, anything. Thatcher take that man out of my brain!

All in all, wild ride. Some parts I wish I could bleach my brain from, but such is life. Live and learn and now I know what to avoid for myself is future reads.

Besties!!! This Book = Unhinged Chaos

Besties… we are BACK in Agony Hollow and this sequel wastes 🚫time throwing us straight back into the madness. "Stalked By My Professor" picks up right where book one left off, so trust me... do NOT skip the reading order. This trilogy is one continuous spiral into deliciously unginged chaos.😵‍💫

First of all… Bastian? Certified, stamped, and laminated unhinged. The deeper we get into his backstory, the more I was sitting there like… Uhhh Sir, are you okay?? (The answer is... Absolutely. Not.) His obsession with Haven is next-level manipulative and controlling in the most twisted dark-academia way.

Then there’s Kai. When this man had the audacity to say he’d been “gentle” since Haven came back… Besties, I literally yelled WTF?! Someone needs to hand him Book 1 because the math is NOT mathing!

What I loved though is Haven’s transformation. She’s done being everyone’s punching bag and is stepping into her bada§§, take-no-prisoners era, and I was cheering for her the whole time.😃

Also… the spice? SCORCHING🔥. The tension between Haven, Kai, and Bastian is messy, obsessive, and wildly addictive.

Another cliffhanger later and I’m already downloading Book 3 because I need answers and how this craziness ends! 😉

Questionable? Absolutely. 😂 But am I completely sure about the storyline? Umm… not really.

My final thought as I got to the ending… I was expecting SO much more with the whole “stalking” situation, but we really didn’t get much of that here. Maybe we’ll get more answers later in the series, but for now, I’m just sitting here at the end like… okay, what exactly just happened?

Honestly, I feel like this book focused more on Kai and Haven’s angry sex and getting all that pent-up tension out of their systems. And I’m not mad about it, but I was definitely confused about where the actual story was going.

There were SO many moments where I was like, “Girl… are you okay???” 😭 Haven literally had a gun pointed at Kai and was trying to get back at him by making him blow Bastian, and then somehow later we’re getting all this yearning and “I miss you” energy… and suddenly they’re basically acting like a couple???

EXCUSE ME??? WHEN DID WE GET HERE?

The book is definitely unhinged, and honestly, that’s probably what kept me reading. We got a little bit of stalking, A LOT of dark moments, plenty of questionable decisions, and enough chaos to keep me entertained. But at the same time, I just couldn’t figure out where the story was trying to take me.

Maybe part of the problem is that I started with this book instead of the first one, since this is actually the second book in the series. 👀 Maybe some of my confusion would make more sense if I went back and read the first book.

But right now? I’m not sure if I want to go back and read the first one OR continue on to the next book. 😂

I love how completely unhinged this series is, but the direction of this one had me scratching my head more than once.

Final thoughts:

Dark? Yep.

Messy? Absolutely. Unhinged? 💯.

Did I understand what was happening half the time? …Nope.

I enjoyed book one and was interested in where this was going to go after that epic finale. All of the characters are toxic in their own way (some more than others) and I'm intrigued to see what the final outcome is going to look like as battlelines are being drawn by the end of the book. Choices have definitely been made that I don't think certain characters can come back from.

There was plenty of backstory too for not only Kai and Haven, but also Bastian who definitely went through it as a child. There are still some questions to be answered and I'm hoping for more on why Ezra went to such lengths singling out Haven. I've totally warmed to Melissa too; she did genuinely seem to be looking out for Haven despite Haven shutting her down again and again. And I loved seeing Thatcher pop up to follow some of the breadcrumbs which have been dropped. Although I wasn't as gripped as book one, I am still looking forward to seeing how this is going to pan out after that teasing final chapter set up.

If you thought Kai was the peak of Agony Hollow’s problems, Professor Bastian Rourke is here to prove that a PhD is just a license to be a more articulate sociopath. The plot picks up exactly where the previous disaster left off, trading the Rain Dance fallout for a domestic arrangement that is as uncomfortable as it is addictive. Haven finally finding her spine and reclaiming some control the morning after the dance was the only thing keeping me from throwing my Kindle at a wall. Bastian is truly unhinged, especially with his "frames of mind" and the way he starts to unravel the second Deputy Thatcher shows up to poke at his carefully curated mask. Kai is still a walking red flag who thinks he's being gentle while actively ruining a life, and the math on his redemption arc simply isn't mathing yet. The somnophilia and drugging elements are heavy, so don't go in expecting a light campus romp. It is a dark, psychological mess that leans hard into the "predator" side of the student-teacher trope without pretending it’s a fairy tale. I’m mostly just here to see if Haven can actually outmaneuver these two or if they’ll all just go off the cliff together in book three.

We get to see and understand more of exactly what had formed Bastian’s brilliant “frames of mind,”and there is the airing of truths which makes significant differences. I cannot wait to delve into their last story - I am sure it will be amazing!

I have finished this whole series at this point, but this is one that definitely lingers, with characters who claw their way through the pages and through each other with their needs, wants, and behaviors stemming both from childhood trauma and present circumstances. This was for me the most compelling series from this author I’ve had the pleasure to read, and I have only just begun to step back into her orbit of stories. Now, I HAVE to delve into what I’ve been missing these last one to two years! LOVED IT! SO WELL DONE! ❤️‍🔥

I’m utterly exhausted and addicted to this series! Haven is a stubborn young woman: she’s damaged, she’s lost, and she’s a target of equally broken men! Kai and Professor Rooke are deranged and focused on her, but their motivations are wildly different. It’s a nonstop battle from the first page: I loved the pacing, the intensity, and the chemistry between Haven and Kai as they find themselves battling their attraction and desire for each other. The flaws in their character echo with every word they say and every action: lies, half truths, betrayals, and cruelty that they’re responsible for and even more by other players around them! Logan Fox keeps the game at an exhilarating level and her TW should be noted! The closing scene is a nightmare and I’m hoping it doesn’t end badly!! Book 3 can’t come out fast enough!!.

And will have you flipping the pages as fast as you can. Haven is stubborn and starts fighting back. Professor Rooke takes things to a whole new level of mind games. Kai is determined working through truths that have finally come to light.
This story is very well written. All the characters are fantastic. Logan does not disappoint.
So buckle up buttercup because this story is going to take you on a mind bending Psychological journey. Which will leave you wanting more. And thank the Dark God's there is more to come. 🖤🖤🖤

This is the second book in this series and is not a standalone. I highly recommend reading the first book, Broken by my Bully, before beginning this book.

Oh boy! Where do I begin?!? The mind games, the obsession(s) the unhinged depravity, the seemingly never ending need for cruelty, the unexpected twists…I could go on and on. Needless to say, I was hooked!
This book starts off where the first ended with the Rain Dance. What happens shortly after between Haven, Kai, and Rooke is nothing short of a mind f**k! BUT, what Haven did the following morning, *chef’s kiss*! I loved seeing Haven grab that bit of control!!!
Everything and everyone seems to be a hot mess in this book. It’s almost as if they’re all veering towards the edge of a cliff and are looking forward to the fall! Rooke, by far, seems really unhinged. He’s pushing boundaries that at times left me feeling really uncomfortable. Not to mention the drugs.
And Kai, he’s the most complicated of them! While part of me feels for him, another part wants him to suffer the same cruelty he inflicted on Haven.
I’m loving the impact that Deputy Thatcher is having on Rooke!!!.

Just like the 1st book, it sucks you in and you can’t wait to see what happens next. Who would of guessed that Haven had a hidden psycho side and would do anything she could to get one up on Kai and Rooke. It’s like they take one step forward and three steps back when trying to mend all the wrongs and hurt they have suffered and caused. And Professor Rooke, while trying to control everything is starting to unravel and I can’t wait to see what he is going to do. This book does end on one heck of a cliffhanger and I’m so ready to see what is to come for the three of them.

This is the second book in this series and picks up right where Broken By My Bully ends. These definitely are not stand alone books. The mind games, obsession, the unhinged depravity continues in this book just like the first one. A chef kiss to the very beginning for sure in what Haven did the following morning after the Rain Dance. The situation between Haven and Kai changes, but will it be a good or bad thing in the end? And Bastain is starting to unravel with the presence of Deputy Thatcher on top of the situation with Haven and Kai. I'm looking forward to seeing how this all ends and what happens to each of the characters.

In too deep
This sequel is over the top! Yes our beloved toxic trio are at the forefront in all their crazed glory, but Logan gives us some answers and even more questions. It's a one door closes two more opens situation. She builds a maze so twisted I don't believe anyone will come out unscathed! There is so much going on that will keep the pages turning and that light on way past bedtime. This book is deliciously dark and definitely scandalous, I cant wait for book 3!.

Labeled as a psychotic thriller and it’s all that and more. Maybe some of us had that one professor that exuded intrigued and charisma to go along with that big fat brain of theirs. I know I had one. Reading this book makes me realize how lucky I am that I came out of that unscathed. It could have turned out so much worse if he was anything like Bastian. This is well written. Read the triggers as there’s many. But if they don’t bother you then this is worth the read.

OMG! This book & series is truly a psychological mindf**k. I'm pretty sure I went through all of the emotions while reading this. I'm actually lost for words, Lol. I thought this was such a good read, and could not put it down. All three MC's have gone through so much, physically, emotionally, and are so toxic, but you can't help look for redeeming qualities and want them to be happy. I can't wait to read the next book. Highly recommend.

This is the second book in the Lessons in Cruelty series. We met Haven and her ex-friend Kai who is stalking her and bullying her, wanting to break her. I couldn’t have asked for a better mix – a dark stalker/bully and a professor who is a predator. Haven turns to her professor, Bastian, who also preys on her, just in a different way.
