OMG Emily Hayes’ story telling gets better each book I read!
Emily has a knack for bringing the emotions out, twisting them and squeezing all the tears and laughter from my soul. I love the people of Phoenix Ridge, their interactions and obvious honesty is just delightful. Carmen and Harper; are so attractive as characters one who has yet to gain their true worth as a surgeon and the other so damaged by past relationship both personal and professional, must overcome huge challenges to finally reach their full potential. It is a beautiful storyline and sits in my heart perfectly.

The meeting the shared laughter into a secret relationship, braking up because of boundaries and being frightened to face the future, but finding the strength of love and commitment to find their forever together life.

I quite enjoyed this novel. It was a well-written story, interesting characters, and it was hard to put down.
