The Lost Girls #6
Tracking Snow
Seven boyfriends wrapped up in one body. And they all want a turn.
Almost everyone I know and love is magically gifted, while I’m just a plain powerless human. Which I find deeply unfair.
I try to make up for it by becoming Boston's least official vigilante. I have all the qualifications for that: insomnia, sick knife-throwing skills, and zero sense of self-preservation.
When a hooded stranger crashes my rooftop routine, my rescue attempt turns upside down.
I mistook him for a loner, but The Seven is never alone.
He's one man broken into seven pieces, and every piece has its own power, its own temper, and its own reaction when I smile at him. And beneath them all lies the shard they keep chained. The one I'm warned never to provoke
Poking things I shouldn't is kind of my brand.
While they can't agree on whether to push me away or keep me close, they all agree on one thing. Nobody touches me but them.
I've spent my whole life wanting magic. Now I want the man who has more of it than anyone in Boston.
But Boston is turning uglier by the night for magic-kind, friends of mine are starting to disappear, and the deeper I dig, the closer I get to the one part of The Seven that scares me.
This spicy, action-packed Snow White retelling brings seven men in one body, a blade-happy heroine, forbidden attraction, and touch-her-and-die energy times seven.

I liked the plot, good, interesting, and the aspect about prejudice, bigotry and discrimination was 100% realistic, there are always those who use the word safety to mask their hate for those who are different and to enact cruelty guiltfree, it’s a side of the story that had me engaged and enraged and wanting to stop them.
I adored all the girls friendship scenes. The Lost Girls group is a highlight of the series, tho I miss the focus on my favorite girls, Goldie and Cinder, I’m so glad they appeared, they’ll always be the top lost girls.
I wasn’t very into the romance, it was just so insta lust and insta love that I couldn’t care that much about it and rolled my eyes at the big intense feelings already thrown around after 50 pages, which is a pity because they were kind of cute together, the chemistry worked, and their conflicts about magic and self-worth were well done.
Now, overall, I found the reading ok, entertaining, but I have a couple of spoilery considerations I want to get off my chest.
Snow came across as pretty blind, she decided in an instant Seven was a vigilante like her just because… he had powers and was out at night (I mean, it happens to not know someone when you get in insta love with a guy you barely know), and kept this idea despite him telling her multiple times what he thought of magic, it was obvious pretty early on that he was involved with what was happening.
Seven, I did feel for him, he had been manipulated, abused and made to hate himself all of his life, he was a victim too, so there was a reason behind his warped perspective and therefore actions, but still, his betrayal went on for long and the change of heart happened late; I needed a portion of the book that was more than just the very end in which I could see him working to right his mistakes, especially considering how much Snow cares about her friends and what did and could have happened to them because of him. So, tho I understood where his actions came from, being told at the end he’s working to earn forgiveness from her friends… I would have liked to see it a bit instead, because me personally, I’d need a lot more to forgive and trust if I were Snow or one of her friends.
After Cinder and Goldie the lost girl I'm more interested in is Ariel, so I'm curious about her story.

Every time I read one of Holly’s books I say it’s my favourite because they are just that good! The disability and chronic illness representation is good (for someone with Fibro it’s not present much and it’s good seeing it out there), featuring Hashimoto’s, POTS, and a future FMC in a wheelchair. An MMC with seven personalities and powers, plus a mind-blowing twist on “Mother” and the classic fairytale. Snow White used to be one of my least favorite Disney princesses, but this iteration officially made her one of my favourites - she is badass womenry! I loved The Seven, seeing all their different versions, and adored that the OG lost girls were still there alongside hints for Rapunzel and her Flynn Rider. Plus, Belle being more present, the adorable bookshop scenes with Snow 😍, it felt like a good mix of the OG and this new group coming forward. I can’t forget the animal companions like Angel Puff Puff and Lucifer as well a bit more about them.

I love the entire Lost Girls series, so getting a story about Snow was a real treat. This is one of my favorite authors for fairytale reimagining / use of fairytale characters in a more modern setting.
It was so great to get Snow’s backstory. I enjoyed that the MMC, The Seven, was just as quirky as she is. Seeing his seven personalities switch in and out on the page was really something. I don’t want to say anything else that would give things away, but the author does what she does best and gives us a compelling, entertaining story filled with found family, emotional connection , great chemistry between characters, reliably funny banter, some great spicy moments, and a happily ever after.

Have I found my new favorite retelling ever? I swear this is the same thing I say every time I pick up a new book in this series, and it’s the truth every time. I don’t know what Holly puts in these books, but I love it.
Well, that’s not true. I know exactly why I love this series so much. The girl power, the friendships, the smexy romances and the way the stories are a nod to the classic fairytale, but also an original, fun and totally surprising twist to it. And Tracking Snow is no different. You will simply LOVE what Holly has done with The Seven alone, a man split into SEVEN different men, all in one body, and each one with distinct personalities and tastes. Said it like this, it’s clear who The Seven is supposed to symbolize, but he may be taking on more than one role (well…seven) in Snow’s story.
Snow is surrounded by friends who have magic, which is great but she also wishes she had some of her own. To compensate, she turns into a vigilante. This is how she meets a hooded stranger, a mage with immense power. The Seven. While Snow and The Seven draw closer, the atmosphere in Boston grows ever more dangerous with the Humans Against Magic sentiments gaining more traction, and magical beings disappearing into the night. Including Snow’s friends.
Let me start with the romance. It’s unlike anything I read before, with an MMC that is simultaneously one and many. Snow meets and falls in love with all of The Seven’s parts. In a way, it was a why choose without it really being a why choose. Turns out, I really love this.
The plot was fast paced and kept me on the edge of my seat once it was Snow’s friends that started disappearing—friends that I know and love, because most of them have been the protagonists of the other books in the series. The more I read, the more I started to get an idea of what was happening, and my theory proved to be correct, it still shocked me and wrecked me. I read the rest of the book taking pauses to scream into my pillow before continuing, because that’s how dramatic I am.
Once again, I thank the author for gifting me a copy of this book. Opinions are my own.

Holy Fae^*%#s! This book packs a punch! It has EVERYTHING. The MMC, Seven, is an extremely powerful mage with seven different personalities and powers and Snow, the FMC, is determined to have all of them. She’s stubborn, fiery, loyal, and loves unconditionally and she’s determined to show Seven that his magic isn’t wrong and that he’s special. You’ve got spice; seven different ways packed in one hot body, you’ve got twists and turns throughout the book. You’re gonna cry, laugh, cuss, throw things and wanna stab someone. This book is a must have. Holly has outdone herself with this one.

ARC Review 🖤
Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️ (the meeting scene with Four 🔥🔥)
Rating: 5 ⭐️ (I'm a vibe rater)
Ma’am…ma’am…you had my heart in my throat 95% of the book!!! The way I was on the edge of my seat was unreal!! Also the way I screeched and kicked my feet the second half of chapter 45…I’m surprised I didn’t burst anyone ear drums. I know I’ve said it before in my previous reviews but, Holly, you sucked me in quick and I never once lose interest or have to take a break in order to keep going.
I can never put them down. I had to cover the bottom of the page quite a few times to avoid reading ahead.
You gave me what I love about an RH with an MF! How all the parts of her are loved and matched through all the parts of him.

Tracking Snow by Holly Roberds
📕4⭐️3🌶️
Snow and The Seven… a story of prejudice, manipulation, betrayal, and self acceptance…
It’s not Snow and the Prince but Snow and the Seven. This is a much more magical retelling of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. Snow is a Lost Girl and the only one among her friends that seems to have no magical ability. She craves it and surrounds herself in it. One night someone crashes her vigilante routine. Well more precisely, The Seven, seven different guys with seven magical abilities trapped in one body each fighting to come out and play. The Seven character with the split personality is a unique take on the seven dwarves. It’s quite clever.
Personally, I am not a fan of fast burns. The insta-lust, insta-love and insta-connection between Snow and The Seven’s seems unrealistic and forced. I would have liked some more confrontation and distrust to build up The Seven’s internal conflict and self proclaimed “red flags”. Snow saw none of it, of course. Like her namesake Snow White, Snow just emits blind trust. It’s kinda pathetic. And the groveling chapter(s)… not enough… forgiveness is given way too easily.
The three major plot twists were somewhat predictable but the details were very well thought out and cleverly written. The first two hits in chapter 28. The story really became more engaging and intriguing from then onwards. As a scientist, I liked stories that involved experimentation… Holly Roberds did not disappoint. The science won’t overwhelm you but it enough is presented to add a sinister element to the fanatics (HAMs) deeds.
I really liked how the ARC story ended and I liked addition alternate ending version 1 best. I don’t know which ending made it into the published version but am curious which won the poll.
This is a nice addition to the Lost Girls interconnected series. I wouldn’t recommend jumping into this without first reading the others despite a brief reintroduction of each character. There are a lot of characters in this book. It’s been awhile since I read the other books so I was a bit overwhelmed by all the name drops. This might be why the first half didn’t engage me.
Overall, this was an entertaining read with interesting themes. Thank you to Holly Roberds for the eARC which allowed me to read and voluntarily provide an unbiased review.

Thank you so much to Holly for choosing me again to read and review one of her books early! 🖤✨

Okay, this was the kind of absolute chaos I don’t think anyone can ever fully prepare for. 😂
The second I found out how the Snow White story had been twisted for this retelling, I knew it was time to hold on tight because this was going to be a ride.
We’re back at the Poison Apple with another princess, and while I’ve loved the other girls in this magical world too, Snow immediately stood out to me. Her recklessness, honesty, and the fact that she refuses to back down from basically anything made me love her from the start. ❄️❤️🔥
It was also so much fun being back with the girls and returning to Holly’s usual emotional rollercoaster.
Snow exists in a world full of magic without having any of her own, and then she meets a man whose power doesn’t scare her in the slightest.
If anything, she’s completely fascinated by it. And Seven… well. I loved every single one of his personalities, if that’s even something I’m allowed to say. 😂🤭
From pretty early on, I was desperately hoping the story wouldn’t end the way I suspected it might, and thankfully I was not disappointed.
Both of our main characters are fighting their own demons in very different ways, and watching Snow slowly break through Seven’s walls was one of my favorite parts of the story.
Sometimes emotional, sometimes genuinely funny, and always a little chaotic. 🖤
I also loved watching Seven slowly start noticing that maybe there is more to life than just the mission in front of him, even while they’re both ultimately fighting toward the same goal.
The plot kept me invested the entire time. I worried about Snow, I worried about Seven, I worried about the girls, and there were definitely moments where I wanted to hug both of them… and then immediately join them in fighting the already very familiar HAM. ⚔️
And the spice? Once again, exactly the right amount for me. Not too much, not too little, varied, and very much doing what it needed to do. 🌶️🔥
I’m already so curious to see where the next princess takes us.
At this point I’m convinced Holly’s creativity simply does not run out, and I am very happy to keep following wherever this series decides to drag me next. 🍎✨

Thank you to the author for the gifted eARC. Opinions are my own.
The Lost Girls series is a NEED for anyone who loves spicy retellings. I swear these books never miss!
I admit, Snow White has never been one of my favorites, but I trusted that the author would make me love the retelling once Snow’s turn arrived and she indeed succeeded. I already enjoyed Snow as a character from what we see of her throughout the series, but I loved getting to know her even better. She’s fun, brave, and a true girl's girl! Snow’s brand of unconditional love is exactly what The Seven needed. Speaking of The Seven, this is the first time I read an MMC split into seven different men, but I enjoyed it so much! The personalities were so well characterized that, like Snow, I started telling them just with the dialogue. It wad like having the things I love about why choose romance—the MMCs being close and having distinct personalities, the FMC having meaningful moments with all of them—within an MF dynamic. I loved it!
Like the rest of the Lost Girls series, Tracking Snow is an original, clever, fun and steamy retelling, with girl power oozing from the pages. The friendships are one of my favorite aspects of this series. The plot was fast-paced and surprising, and it also made my heart ache for multiple reasons, one of which is a plot twist I had begun to suspect but it was in no way less devastating once it happened. An unputdownable read!

i looove this book! i mean, 7 personalities in 1 body? YUP. it was so fun getting to know each of them and finding out what their powers would be. and snow! we already know she's a badass from the last book, but seeing her now was surreal.
the seven's character tore me to pieces. i hated his mother for everything she put into his head. he just needs a lot of love, please! and i'm glad he got to experience that through snow. part of me hated him for his part in his mother's schemes, but knowing how much he went through, i kind of forgive him. i also loved how he grovelled to snow and her friends.
also, i couldn't help but feel nervous every time someone disappeared, especially when most of them are powerful mages. even though i knew holly roberds wouldn't kill them, not knowing where they were still had me stressing tf out. i'm just glad they were all alright in the end.
as much as my favorite disney character is ariel and, don't get me wrong, i'm excited to read her book, i just know that i need rap and ryder's book asap PLEASE!

And so we have a Snow White retelling with a twist! I love Holly’s books & I’m a big fan of a retelling, of any kind.
Snow hasn’t had the easiest time of it but she rocks up & does her thing. She a little bit of a vigilante with a fabulous attitude. Then along comes Seven, with his masterful magic & 7 personalities.
With multiple twists & turns throughout & Snow falling for Seven’s multiple personalities, there’s plenty to keep you hooked. As well as a generous helping of some delicious spice. Well worth a look!!

ARC REVIEW🌟
If Holly is writing it, I’m reading it.
Tracking Snow is the next book in the Lost Girls series.
I devoured this book.
Snow has magic abilities that have been erased from her when she was a little girl. She thinks she’s just a regular human that longs to have magic. Then she meets The Seven. A man that has seven personalities in one body. She learns which personality she is talking to based on the color of the eyes. The evil Queenie wants to erase every one that has magic and starts kidnapping all of Snow’s friends. Queenie has a son that started to show magic at a little age. His mom experimented on him trying to help him and ended up splitting him 7 ways.
I love this series so much and can’t wait to read about the others. If you haven’t read any of them yet, you’re missing out. And don’t worry, there’s spice in these books.
If Holly is writing it, I’m reading it.
Tracking Snow is the next book in the Lost Girls series.
I devoured this book.

Loved it!! I really enjoy this series and this books just adds to that love. I like Snow and how dorky she can be at times. I think her power is awesome, I would pick that to have if there was magic like that. I like Seven but I also feel very sorry for him. No mother should do that to there child. The plot was easy to follow and very entertaining. Overall this was a great book.

I love these books so much, Holly Roberds has created a world filled with magic, mischief, love and adventures. So many lovable characters, I just can’t get enough!
I wish Poison Apple was a real place I could visit.
Snows story shows us what real unconditional love is and gives us hints into more of the other characters’ stories, I’m still chomping at the bit to get Rap’s story!

“Like a magpie, I would try to pick up little pieces that I liked and fold them into myself, but frankly, I always felt like a mess. It never added up to a whole.”
As per usual Holly Roberds delivers… I don’t know what I did to get so lucky to be on this ARC team, but I absolutely gobble these books up and this was no exception. Snow is a perfect character and you find that you love her for it, her devotion to her friends is unmatched and once she stumbles upon Seven, there is no slowing them down… Each of the Seven is so unique and perfect piece of such a great whole and even though this is not as spicy as some of the other others in the series (Hooking Tink I’m looking at you) the spice is spicy and definitely delivers a good time.

3.75⭐️ - i was excited to read this book, mainly for the take on The Seven 🙂↕️ 1 MMC with 7 personalities? hello curiosity!
the book got confusing & i recently finished reading Aurora’s books so the timeline between books needs some finessing. how much time/years have passed since we started this Lost Girls journey? because from what i gathered it’s been a handful of years & Snow is like 30yrs here sooo ⁉️ in the prologue she was 15yrs old & then later she stayed she spent the last 15yrs trying dealing with Rosie’s passing. Snow was younger than Goldie & Cinder & in their books they were in their like mid 20s so now they would be in their mid 30s? idk we need ages & a clear time line here
from the time of Aurora’s book & Snow’s books we now have an extremely different city. Aurora didn’t encounter a single anti-magic human but now in Snow’s book it’s like no mage or magical being is safe⁉️ how did we get here? it’s stayed that it’s been going on for years but we never have for a single book heard about any of this. it seems so out of left field tbh … yes Boston was a “mainly human” city & the Poisoned Apple didn’t allow magical beings before but it was never made to seem as it was anti-mage/fae much less heavily discriminatory! also … HAM? who in their right mind thought to name their anti magical beings group HAM (Humans Against Magic) 💀
i love the take for The Seven though & while he did have his dıck moments … i enjoyed how the seven personalities were portrayed & even the different eye colors. though i do think there was a huge missed opportunity to not have made Five’s eyes be pink instead of blue seeing as his power was sneezing tiny pigs 😂 if pink colored eyes were going to be a thing he should’ve had that eye color not Three
Snow’s obsession with magic for annoying & was giving desperate. then turned pitiful with her “magic tricks” like girl! be fücking for real right now 🤦♀️ & while i didn’t like how The Seven told off Snow, he had a point, it DID seem as if Snow was interested in The Seven & then mainly just Seven for his power. her excuse of her felt something missing felt like a lame excuse
i have never heard of the name or last name of “Fairchild” & it NOT be a villain’s name so it would be safe to assume & honestly quite obvious that Queenie Fairchild would be the the main villain here
sooo happy Rap FINALLY is meeting her potential man!!! 💃 & hopefully we get a book on her soon because it is pretty invisible she is/was some kind of magical being who knows “Little Mermaid” questionable characters 🤔 she knows a sea witch who works as a lawyer & called her bar customers “poor unfortunate souls” we need answers!
Goldie turning out to be an influencer was also something i never saw coming! though i do appreciate what she was promoting - self love & body positivity … i still can’t get over how ridiculous she was in her book & how she would’ve just bought a puppy to annoy Ted when she knew he wouldn’t want the puppy & was sure he wouldn’t take care of it … someone leak those receipts! 💀
lowkey was hoping Lucifer was some sort of cursed grouchy human 😂 would’ve been a fun twist for the tyrant cat but his actual origin was sad but made sense - i am glad he found a buddy/companion to stop him from being a terror
once Queenie was taking taken to jail … what happened to HAM? like we had so much hate for mages & magical folk & once she is out of the picture what? the discrimination went away??? it’s not mention in the slightest after at all sooo? what happened there?
this book gets a 4 not because of Snow but mainly because i enjoyed The Seven’s portrayal though he deserved to get punched when he was a dıck to Snow 🥊😤 can’t wait to see what happens with Ryder & Rap! their small interactions were enough to make me want more!
overall … i enjoyed the story though it was hard to lock in since some of the plot happenings seemed to just have been added for this plot only (like HAM) i feel like The Seven’s identities could’ve been explored more but i did love how bad ass Snow was (if you ignore how “magical power hungry/obsessed” she was)
Ariel’s book doesn’t release until like August of 2027 so hopefully her book is better & clears the plot holes & time gaps here

Snow is funny, snarky, and has always been enamored with magic. She struggles with envy of others with magic, but has made herself into baddie in her own way. Snow has terrible insomnia and decided she’d don a black cat suit and her daggers to patrol the streets. There has been a lot of unrest in the city and she wants to protect people with magic. One night she intervenes to help a man with a hoodie, but he didn’t need the help. Snow tries to talk to him and ask questions but he doesn’t understand why she is fascinated by his magic. I laughed out loud when Snow showed off her best magic trick, separating her thumb from her hand. It was a total laugh out loud/face palm moment and I was here for it. Their first meeting was by chance, but soon they’re seeking each other out. Snow works her charm and he tells her his name is The Seven, a man with seven distinct personalities. Snow quickly picks up how to differentiate between each one because of their eye color and their personalities. The Seven didn’t understand why Snow was so interested in magic when he sees it as a disease and wrong. The dynamic between them was incredible, each struggling to feel like they are enough. Behind the unrest in the city there was the disappearances of people with magic. When her friends start to disappear she tries to figure out who is behind it. Once the pieces start to fall into place, it was heartbreaking to see who was behind everything. Snow is unique, spunky, and doesn’t hesitate to jump into help a friend, no matter the cost. To have Snow on your side, meant she was your ride or die. The Seven go on quiet the journey, but with Snow’s unconditional love he learns to accept his magic as the gfit that it is. "I guess our nightly dates need to consist of us saving magic-kind and me banging it out with every single one of you,"

I cannot recall a time when I pushed my kindle away from me and glared at it so many times. And that is truly a compliment because this book had me deep in my feels so often.
The fifth full-length book in the Lost Girls series gives us Snow’s story, a human envious of the powerful mages around her trying to make up for being powerless by running the streets of Boston at night vigilante style. One night she encounters a man in a hoodie that she thinks needs rescuing but soon comes to find out he’s got incredible powers. Seven to be exact. One for each of his seven distinct personalities.
The Seven is a man broken and while he may be the most powerful mage in Boston, his powers are no match for Snow’s tenacity and her fascination with him. The fascination goes both ways as The Seven is surprised by Snow at every turn, despite her being magicless, and one thing all parts of him can agree on is they aren’t sure if they want to keep her close or push her away (or a little of both). Snow treats the mercurial MMC like a skittish bunny, but when her friends and other magic folk start to disappear, she starts to wonder if the secrets he’s keeping will force her to choose between him and the deep love and loyalty she has for her friends.
This book had more twists and turns than a country backroad, and at every one I gasped and happily continued this rollercoaster of emotions. When the author announced details about The Seven, I knew it was going to be epic (SEVEN DISTINCT PERSONALITIES, Y’ALL!) but even still I was unprepared for this one! Snow is fierce and loyal, and loves so big, whereas The Seven is so broken, alone, and feels unlovable, making their pairing both inevitable and a huge source of friction. While their chemistry is full of heat and curiosity (and it is sooo good), the moments where Snow is so open and loving and The Seven is confused and disbelieving of it are just….oof. And the biggest twist (ok make that plural) will have you screaming and throwing your book/eReader just like I did.
As with all the books, the friendship between the Lost Girls heals something in me (and makes me painfully envious) because they are the definition of ride or die and love each other so completely. That element alone keeps me coming back—the romance and the spice don’t hurt either though!
Each of the books in this series are incredible standalones, but I swear they get better with each book. I have no idea where she gets her ideas because these retellings always have enough nods to the original fairy tales to feel familiar, but the whole thing is turned on its head in the best ways. There is no limit to the number of these books I would happily continue to read, and I can’t wait to see what comes next for the Lost Girls---after I fully recover from the book hangover Tracking Snow gave me!
TLDR: Tracking Snow is a delicious, spicy rollercoaster of a story and you should go get it now if you like twisty turn stories, insta-chemistry, magic, and fairy tale retellings. And if you like having your heart ripped out, shredding, and then put back together.
A special thanks to the author ARC copy of this book!

I'm a HUGE Holly Roberds fan. I love her writing, her world building, her characters, and the fact that all endings are amazing HEAs. This book was another amazing book of hers. I literally stayed up until 5am to finish the book! And I actually couldn't start another book for a couple of days because the book stayed with me that long.
Series: This whole series is incredible. I grew up with fairytales of all kinds and being able to read them as an adult with an adult love story has incredible. To enjoy this book, you should read all books previously and in order as they all build on each other and have characters from all books in all books.
Book: This book was one of the most unique stories I've read in a very long time. At first I didn't think I would like it because I thought it would be confusing, but boy was I wrong! The book has low to medium angst, but the resolution is perfect.
Characters:
- Snow: She has been a side character in all the other books but I don't think we knew much else about her. I loved learning about her background and her personality. She is such a firecracker! She is tough, smart, funny, and strong. For the first part of the book, I felt frustrated by her constant discussing her lack of magic, but as the book went on I understood this more. I loved reading about her and would honestly love a whole series of Snow and the Seven.
- The Seven: This has to be the most unique characters I've ever read. Super KUDOS to Ms. Roberds on writing them. I won't spoil too much on why they are they way they are, but their back story and they arch is so, so interesting. What I think is clear early on is there are 7 different parts/personalities to the Seven and each one of them is different. Throughout the book we get POVs from each character which is so cool! And how they interact with Snow is amazing. Love it!
Love Story: Oh boy. This story was HOT!! It almost felt like an RH, but with M/F only. The way that I truly felt like there were 7 different men was incredibly well written. I can't say much because there are a lot of twists and turns, but this is probably one of my favorite stories in the series because of the way the story goes. The steam is GREAT!
Note:
First person POV, multiple POVs
HEA - such a great ending! One of my favorites in a long time, I actually cried with all the good things.
Third Act Breakup - There is a TAB but it doesn't last too long.
Angst - there is a good amount of angst but it doesn't override the book.
Steam - 3-4 out of 5
No cheating or other woman drama
Characters from other books make appearances
Lots of twists and turns and plot twists - all end up with a HEA

Every one of Holly Roberd’s Lost Girl books takes beloved fairytale characters and flips them to be fierce, sassy, and strong heroines. I will always love an author who writes strong female leads, making it known that while they don’t need a man, they will have fun with them. Book 6 in the series, Tracking Snow, is Holly’s vision of why choose. One MMC with seven different personalities that all make an appearance. I loved every minute of this book and am so glad to be back in this world.
Snow is unlike any FMC that Holly has written in this series. Fully human, with zero magic, she has found a path that works for her and that she feels fulfilled within. She fully believes that magic isn’t the only thing that can make you special, but in a world where non-magical creatures are looked down on, she is surrounded by others who snub her. Along with her Poison Apple crew ladies, she has become vigilant for those who are weaker and need protection. Snow is the exact type of FMC that I love to read about and watching her deal with everything she has going on like a boss is absolutely inspiring.
The Seven is a layered MMC, not just due to the multiple personalities that live within one being, but everything those personalities represent. How Holly was able to make each version as delicious as the next is beyond me, but girl you slayed this character! As you learn each one, it is clear which number you are dealing with and which of the 7 dwarves they were inspired after. The inner struggle is real as The Seven are dealing with their own battles, in which Snow helps them see the beauty in. The Seven are easy to naturally fear, but impossible to hate as the story builds.
I love how Holly doesn’t limit herself, even though she sets clear boundaries for herself as a writer. She makes reading fun and exciting, while giving her readers spice that makes you blush and sweat. I have yet to read a book of hers that I don’t absolutely adore and Tracking Snow is now a part of that list. She has been a wonderful author to watch grow, expand, and challenge herself; while remaining humble. She truly loves getting reader feedback and interacts with her clan regularly. If you love fairytales that are reimagined, characters who are so much more than they seem, and storylines that never end, Holly is the author for you.
As always, review any author notes before reading.
What to Expect:
🍎Fairytale Reimagined
🖤Found Family
🍎Snarky FMC
🖤Split Personality MMC
🍎Girl Squad
🖤Magical x Human
🍎Mental Health Rep
🖤Chronic Illness Rep
🍎Touch Her and 💀

Tracking Snow ❄️🍎
Missing Mages in Boston. The Poison Apple is under attack. Humans who believe magic is evil are hunting down those who have it, and Snow has made it her mission to protect them.
Because that’s Snow. She sees someone being threatened and she acts.
She meets Seven while fighting off one of those anti-magic lunatics who is threatening a young mage, and from there… well. Seven is Seven, Snow is Snow, and apparently putting these two together was a recipe for me to catch feelings. 😂
But this one hit different.
I love Snow. I love Seven. And there’s a moment between them that completely got me. They’re sharing a kiss, and Snow thinks about how it feels like she’s giving him her loneliness—the feeling of not belonging, of carrying all those things alone—and he takes it from her. Then he gives her his in return.
They’re not alone anymore.
They have each other.
And damn. That got me.
Because sometimes love isn’t about someone swooping in and fixing everything that’s broken inside you. Sometimes it’s finding the person who sees those broken pieces, understands them, and says, you don’t have to carry them alone anymore.
And I loved that their quiet moments together are just as meaningful as everything else happening around them. Walking through Boston together while protecting the mages, dealing with the stress of the day, simply being beside each other… there’s something incredibly intimate about finding peace in someone’s company.
That feeling of being truly seen and loved? Of wanting to spend time together even when you’re not doing anything particularly exciting, because being with that person makes the hard days a little easier?
That is what made this book hit differently for me.
And Seven? Everyone deserves a Seven. That absolutely feral, I will burn the entire fucking world down for you kind of love. Touch Snow and see what happens. Seriously.
This book has everything you’d expect from a Poison Apple story—action, danger, spice, chaos, seven men sharing one body, a badass Snow, and enough insanity to keep you turning pages—but underneath all of that is something surprisingly tender.
It’s a story about loneliness, belonging, healing, and finding someone who makes you realize that maybe you were never meant to carry everything by yourself.
Sometimes the most powerful love story isn’t about finding someone who completes you.
It’s finding someone who finally makes you feel like you belong.

ARC Review
⭐ 4/5 | 🌶️ 3.5/5
🚩 Be sure to read the author’s note and content warnings before reading. 🚩
I received an ARC copy in exchange for my honest review.
If Holly writes it, I’m reading it! I think this book so far is beyond my favourite of all her books and possibly even my favourite read of the year so far! I love her writing, her world-building, her characters, and the fact that all of her endings are amazing HEAs.
A spicy Snow White retelling → seven boyfriends wrapped up in one body.
(Need I say more?) 👀
I absolutely devoured this book. I stayed up waayyyyy too late and finished it within 3 hours because apparently sleep was less important than finding out what happened next. 😂 Once I started, I genuinely did not want to put it down. Plus no interruptions that way! 😂😂😂
Snow was such a fun character to follow. I loved her strength, her determination, and the fact that even without powers, she is absolutely not someone you should underestimate. And then there’s the Seven… somehow Holly managed to make each personality feel so different and distinct while still making the whole dynamic work incredibly well.
The relationship between Snow and the Seven was definitely one of my favourite parts. There’s so much personality, banter, protectiveness, and spice packed into this story, but there are also some really sweet and emotional moments that made me completely invested in them.
One thing I really appreciated about this book (and others like Monster Under My Bed) was Holly’s recognition of health conditions that are often overlooked or misunderstood. I thought it was handled in a way that added another layer to the characters and their experiences, and I really appreciate authors who take the time to acknowledge things that don’t always get the representation or attention they deserve.
And, of course, I loved and I mean LOVED all the punny bunny references. 🐰😂 If you’re part of Holly’s email subscription, you’ll know exactly what I mean when I say there were some moments that made me very amused by the la husbun references. If you know, you know. 😉 I absolutely adore when authors sneak little inside jokes or callbacks into their books for their readers.
Overall, Tracking Snow was everything I wanted from a Snow White retelling and more. It was fast-paced, spicy, emotional, chaotic, and completely addictive. I’m so glad I got the chance to read this as an ARC, and I cannot wait to see what Holly comes up with next!
Thank you to Holly Roberds for the ARC! All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I have been waiting for Snow’s story, and this badass queen was killer! This read was fast paced, with action and danger around every turn. All of our favorite characters are back, along with a few new additions that had me squealing (Ryder, I’m looking at you!!). This kept me up well into the night, and I praise Holly for every sleepless second because this was a one sit wonder. I genuinely could not put it down!
Snow has had it rough. Orphaned and living on the streets before finding her home bartending at the Poison Apple as a Lost Girl. She has always been the strong, fearless, loyal one with a vibrant, powerful soul. And this book gives us even more, really getting down to the bones of her. We get to see her heart, her fears, her hopefulness, and her playfulness. The woman underneath all that leather and lace, who wants to be chosen, cared for, and loved. All while still being able to kick your ass. Because oh, did I mention Snow has a bit of a sleeping problem? So instead, she spends her nights prowling the streets and keeping the peace, vigilante style! Which is where she meets him...or should I say them! The Seven.
And oh boy, do we like The Seven!! He was split, and now he lives with 7 separate personalities, with 7 individual powers contained in one hoodie-wearing hunk. They were so well done. Each was referred to by number, with their eye color being their physical identifier, and each personality was completely different. I was fascinated by all of them. And in true Holly fashion, we got plenty of the Seven Dwarf traits woven in, which had me giggling. But underneath all of that was a much more heartbreaking story. The Seven was raised believing his powers were a disease, an infection that made him impure and unlovable. He was never enough and followed orders like a good little brainwashed soldier in the hopes that one day he would finally belong.
But when he meets Snow, someone who is open. Someone who saw him. Someone who maybe even loved every fractured piece of him, it changes everything. I loved watching their relationship unfold. There was just something so beautiful about watching two people who had spent so much of their lives feeling broken finally become whole.
So yes, another epic Lost Girls story in the books, deepening my complete and utter obsession with this world and these characters. Can I just say that this is a series I could read forever? Just keep’em coming, Holly, because I never want it to end!
Thank you so much to Holly Roberds for this gifted ecopy!

I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to the author for allowing me the absolute privilege of being able to arc read this book! I truly appreciate it!
Let me start this review by saying if you need a book that will be able to crack your face into a wide grin, and shatter your heart all at the same time trust me it'll be this, into 7 pieces to be precise. Don't get me wrong though you will still absolutely fall in love with every single part of this book, as well as Snow and the Sevens love story, including their Happily Ever After. However this book is heavy and heartbreaking, and so thought provoking all well as having the ability to leave you embarassing yourself with how much you can't stop laughing and grinning at the utter adorable moments and their banter. Trust me I know haha.
This book deals with a lot of topics, mental health, personality disorders, bigotry, technically racism but towards those with magic and those without, it deals with loss, with abuse, and abuse of power and it can be alot for someone to read so I'm getting that out there first. This book deals with those topics so well, including how it affects those all those topics affect, and how to work with yourself through them, and find your trueself and grow within your constraints and your pasts and it is truly an amazing book for those reasons alone. The feelings it will evoke, will leave you with a different perspective on life, and those around you and I will always love that impact in a book. It's why this is now my absolute favourite book in this series.
Outside of the heavy, The Seven and Snow are so beautiful together, they fit in a truly wonderful and magical way and I could never not picture the one without the other, because trust me when you read their story, you won't be able to think of a more perfect couple in all of literature past these two. I also loved being able to reconnect with all of my past lost girls and seeing where their lives have gone. It always feels exactly like this book emulates; coming home to your family. Even though they're not blood family, they are the most truly beautiful lost and found family I have ever read and will ever read and I am forever grateful that it makes me feel like I'm family too everytime I step into the pages of a book in this series. I will never be able to thank the author enough for that! Also I will never be able to thank her enough for more glimpses into Rap and the new addition of Ryder!!! My Tangled loving heart was so ecstatic at that, that I legitimately fan girled out loud!
No matter what you read and enjoy I also believe that you will love this book and this series as much as I do, and I really hope you can give it and them a try!
Thank you so very much again from the bottom of my heart to the author for allowing me the utter privilege of being able to arc read this book! I absolutely love it and I can't wait until I can bring a physical copy home to join the others!

I have a confession to make: fairy-tale retellings are generally not my thing.
And then Holly Roberds came along with Tracking Snow and basically said, “That’s adorable. Read this.”
Well. WOW.
I am genuinely speechless, which is frankly inconvenient because I have a Goodreads review to write.
This is Snow like you have absolutely never met her before. Sassy, sharp, funny, fierce, and with enough attitude to make me wonder whether the original Snow White would have benefited from a little less singing and a little more murdery determination.
At its heart, Tracking Snow is a slow-burning, intensely addictive romance wrapped in a seriously clever retelling. There is prejudice, manipulation, betrayal, secrets, and a whole lot of painful self-discovery, all layered together with a story that keeps revealing another piece of itself just when you think you have it figured out.
And then there are The Seven.
I am not going to say too much because discovering them is half the fun, but Holly Roberds has done something wonderfully original with these characters. The MMC is anything but predictable, and the dynamics are deliciously complicated. The romance takes its time, the tension steadily builds, and the emotional payoff feels all the better for it.
The action doesn't exactly sit quietly in the corner either. This story has teeth. There is danger, intensity and plenty happening beneath the surface, while the bigger picture gradually comes into focus through little revelations scattered throughout the book. I loved that I wasn't handed every answer immediately. Instead, I had to keep digging, questioning and occasionally wondering who the hell I was supposed to trust.
And here is the truly shocking part: I would happily read this retelling again.
Me. Voluntarily rereading a fairy-tale retelling.
Holly, what have you done?
Even more dangerous is the fact that Tracking Snow is part of a series, because naturally I am now going straight after the rest of these books with absolutely no intention of behaving sensibly.
Sassy, intense, original and gloriously addictive, Tracking Snow has officially become the exception to my “no fairy-tale retellings” rule.
Apparently, every rule needs one very good book to destroy it.

**ARC REVIEW**
I have always had a soft spot for two fairy tales. Beauty and the Beast and Snow White. Holly Roberds has now managed to turn BOTH of those stories completely on their heads and turn them into the most beautifully spicy and unexpected reads I could imagine! ...But this is about Tracking Snow...
When I started this book, I had zero expectations about the plot or the characters beyond who Snow was. She had been a more background character thus far and I was really looking forward to learning more about her. I was not disappointed. You learn SO much about her and, as you read, it makes you feel, once again, like you can book a flight to THIS Boston and go grab a drink at the Poison Apple.
Snows story is so wonderfully emotional and honestly the political stuff (which has been touched upon in all the books but REALLY takes a stand in this story line) feels in line with the current events in especially in the USA and other parts of our world. You can't help but want to fight alongside Snow, Rap, Ariel and the rest of the Poison Apple crew. This along with The Seven gives way to a story line that draws you in, making it almost impossible to put down.
The darkness within The Seven along with the light creates such an interesting and magnetic man that you understand Snow being drawn to him, (and if you have ever seen James MacAvoy in Split, you can easily picture the different body language The Seven has as he changes from One to Four to Six, etc...) I could feel the frustration with Snow throughout their blossoming relationship and absolutely feel her excitement each time she's learning about each personality and his traits and magic. Plus - trying to guess who each man was (Happy, Doc, Sleepy etc.) was kinda fun too....
All in all, this book, with Snow White being reinvented into Snow the badass bartender, and the seven dwarves being reinvented into The Seven, I am, once again, amazed with the story and love this world Holly has created for us. I only wish I could be a Lost Girl too.
