She torched her career. He runs a shack held together with grease and grumpiness. But when fire meets saltwater, sparks fly that no one saw coming...
Savannah Cross was once the queen of flame—on screen, in the kitchen, and unfortunately, in the tabloids. After a PR disaster leaves her reputation charred and her options limited, she's sentenced to six weeks of community service in Driftwood Cove—a coastal town with more charm than patience.
There, she meets Beck fisherman, single father, and owner of the world's most stubborn seafood shack. Beck doesn’t want a disgraced celebrity in his kitchen—especially not one with a temper as hot as her flambé torch. But as their culinary clash goes viral, so does the chemistry between them.
With sizzling banter, secret fears, and shrimp that might just save them both, Tangled Tides is a salty-sweet romantic comedy about second chances, staying when it’s easier to run, and falling for the last person you expected.
Perfect for fans of enemies-to-lovers heat, coastal small towns, and slow-burn redemption with a crispy edge.

Savannah, a chef, started a fire while cooking that resulted in mandatory community service. Her destination is Wilders Catch, a shack run by Beck. He catches the fish as well as cooks. There is a lot of chemistry between the two as they cook together in the small shack. I liked Maddie, Beck's daughter, who adores Savannah. Savannah has a problem staying in place. It is easier for her to run. Maddie and Beck do a good job of letting Savannah work out her problems. I would have liked more development of Savannah's character; why the need to run, and how she could finally settle down.
I had a blast reading this story. Savannah is a talented chef but sometimes she goes overboard and gets into some serious trouble. Now she has to do community service and work with Beck who owns a shack on the beach. WOW,do these two let the sparks fly. City girl vs grumpy fisherman. I had a smile thru it all. I received a free copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review .
Savannah and Beck seem to live on opposite sides of the universe, throwing them together leads to amusing sparks flying but in the end something new and wonderful emerges from the chaos. I enjoyed their story very much and added this author to my favourites list.
