Rate this book
They’re the match everyone has been waiting for, and International Bestselling Author Ava Miles delivers another binge-worthy friends to lovers’ workplace romance in her People Magazine featured Paris Roommates’ series readers can’t get enough of.

Chef Madison Garcia only wants one a Michelin star for the Parisian restaurant she’s taken over after a tragedy rocked her found family.

Only her roommate, best friend, and business partner—Kyle Taylor—is proving way too distracting. From the moment they met, they’d been close, but now ten years later, they’re like clingwrap, with a white hot attraction both are fighting hard to deny.

They know they’re total opposites. With her tough background, Madison is crème brûlée with a crispy exterior and soft inside while Kyle is a decadent bowl of chocolate mousse that you eat with the silver spoon he was born with.

The stakes are huge, and the risks of giving into their feelings even bigger. Their working relationship could go sideways. Their found family could implode. And what about the danger to their hearts?

But Paris is more than the place to follow your dreams. It’s the city where you can surrender to your greatest love. If anyone can figure out how to help these two lovers find happily ever after, it’s the Paris Roommates.

What a way to end the series! Kyle and Madison are meant to be together, and they make the best couple; balancing each other out. Kyle is so supportive and knows what he wants, and of course he’s romantic. I loved how he was determined to help Madison get her Michelin star.
Madison wants a Michelin star more than anything. She’s determined to make it happen, but she’s afraid of losing focus. She wants to spend time with Kyle, but she doesn’t want to get lost in him. She also wants him to go for his own dreams. So, how are they going to be successful at work and love? Reading their romance was sweet and I could not imagine them not being together.
Madison’s journey to her Michelin star consists of a lot of barriers. And it adds a dash of suspense. It also shines a light on how the culinary world can be tough if you are a woman.
If you love friends that finally become lovers, food talk, sneaking around in the beginning, and supportive friends you will love this one.

Ava Miles can do no wrong in her books - I’ve been reading them for years. I absolutely love the way she writes her characters and how she has them go through it before finding their HEA. Kyle and Madison is the last book of the Paris Roommates and it was just perfection. How she wrote Madison as such a tough woman but able to love and finally admit her love for Kyle was beautiful. The Michelin star fight was intense - whoa - I love seeing when true love puts up a fight for good. This was the perfect ending to the series. I hope there are some epilogues or something bc I need to know where these roommates go from here. Highly recommend this series and this book especially.

What a perfect ending to this series!

I have adored the found family and friendship that this whole series has provided. We have worked up to Madison and Kyle throughout each book and it was so much fun finally getting their HEA. I really enjoyed how this was written with them finally taking a chance on each other and not fighting their feelings any longer. The meddling of each roommate cracked me up as usual. I was on the edge of my seat pushing for Madison and her Michelin star throughout the whole book, the tension and consistent hits kept me hooked. I will miss this group so much and I loved every positive life lesson they taught me through each book!

Thank you Ava Miles and team for the advanced copy in exchange for my honest review!!

Oh my heart! This book was everything I wanted for Kyle and Madison! It made me feel all of the emotions and left my heart so full! It is the last book in the Paris Roommates series and I wanted to savor reading this but it was oh so good and I had been waiting for this story that I found myself turning the pages faster and faster and I read it in less than a day. I adore the Paris Roommates and the family and life they have created and seeing them all again in this book felt like coming home. This book is a story of friendship, love, and the fear of letting someone see the whole you. It has challenges, laughter, food that has my mouth watering, and the cutest puppy. Plus Paris, how can I forget Paris?!?! Paris is the perfect backdrop for the series and after reading the books I want to visit and eat all of the things.

The main characters, Kyle and Madison both have personalities that mask their true selves. Kyle is the golden boy that seems to live a charmed life and is always doing things for others and finding ways to help the roommates live their dreams. But he is hiding his baggage from his parents and has walls up around his heart. Madison is tough and all about protecting those closest to her and is willing to break her own heart to protect her roommates. She is hiding a soft core and her own heart. When they are together there is sparks and support and kindness and they both are just better.

This book and the Paris Roommates series is everything I want in a series, sparks, support, living a dream, finding love, and a group of friends that I want to hang out with. All of the stars!

I highly, highly recommend this book!

Thanks to the author for the gifted copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

First of all… if you’ve been following this series, you already know this one was coming, and it was SO worth the wait.

Kyle and Madison’s story has been building in the background, and they are finally getting their moment. It felt so satisfying. The tension, the history, the way they’ve always been there for each other, it all comes together in a way that just works.

What makes this book so fun is that it’s not just a romance; it’s friends-to-lovers done right. You can feel how much they already know each other, how they balance each other out. Madison is strong, focused, and protective, while Kyle is supportive, thoughtful, and quietly romantic. Watching them stop pretending there’s nothing there and finally lean into it? I was smiling the whole time.
And let’s talk about the vibes…

- Paris setting
- Food, cooking, and chasing dreams (hello Michelin star!)
- Found family that feels real

The whole roommates group brings that cozy, supportive energy that makes you feel like you’re part of their world. It’s honestly bittersweet saying goodbye to them, but this story felt like the perfect send-off. Also, this book has heart. It touches on ambition, especially as Madison works toward her goals in a tough industry, while still figuring out love. It adds a little depth without losing that fun, feel-good energy.

If you love:

- friends-to-lovers
- found family vibes
- strong, driven FMCs
- sweet, supportive MMCs

You need to pick this one up. This one had me smiling, rooting for them, and not wanting it to end.

Thank you so much to @avamiles for the #gifted copy of The Paris Roommates: Kyle & Madison

*I received an E-ARC for free in exchange for an honest review* - Thank you @avamiles!

Madison and Kyle's story is the final installment in an interconnected found family romance series about a group of friends in Paris. There’s a great breakdown of the characters at the beginning in case there has been time in between you reading the series and I thought it was nice to have the refresher! I would suggest reading them in order but you don’t have to if you don’t want to. Even though I have never been to Paris, the atmosphere and descriptions feel so authentic to the Paris in my mind from other forms of media! I loved the immersion in French culture and life through the story, which made it feel like great escapism. Madison and Kyle balance each other out so well and there were many sweet and thoughtful gestures that made me melt! This is a very character focused series but the plot in this one really stands out as well. So far, this is my favourite book by Ava Miles! If you have a love of food and like sweet and cozy romances, you might enjoy Madison and Kyle’s story!

Wow! Another amazing series!

I love the worlds Ava Miles writes! I believe each of her series is the best as I read it, then reread them because they are so savor-worthy. The Paris Roommates is a powerful contender in a lineup of great delights.
As each book joins the collection, I want to begin the saga from the start so I don't miss any bit of it and to refresh my memory before traveling to her newest release. The setting is so well-evoqued; each character takes a leading role as the books follow them. The details of scent, food, drink, surroundings, fashion and weather are all part of the sense of immersion she creates. Nurturing love with art, poetry, philosophy, thoughtfulness and strong values as well as more concrete expression gives layers to the roommates and plus ones completeness as each has to rethink themselves, choosing what to release of old behaviors as they grow into themselves.
Ava's recipe of life is so layered, I find inspiration as well as pleasure as I follow it.

Yes. I have been waiting for Madison and Kyle's story, several books back now. The more and more that these two appeared in the other's books and tried to "pretend" that nothing was happening between them; the more that I craved their story.

Finally, Kyle and Madison's story is here and Ava did not disappoint. I absolutely love these two. To see Madison let her hair down is amazing. She and Kyle make a great couple. He even inspired Madison to make some new dishes. Yet don't send Madison any eggplant, cucumber, or peach emojis as all she will think about is what dishes she can make with these food items.

Another satisfying moment is when Kyle stood up to his parents. It was a long time in the making. I cheered so loudly for him when that exchange happened. I am sad that this series has come to a conclusion as I have grown very fond of the Paris Roommates. This book deserves a Michelin star.

I’m currently in Paris, so I figured this was the perfect time to read Kyle and Madison’s story. Honestly, reading it while actually being here made the experience even better! Walking around the city and then diving back into the book made the setting feel so much more real and I found myself noticing little details in the story that hit differently this time.

Since the beginning, I’ve been waiting for Kyle and Madison to get their moment. Their tension has been building across the whole series, and it was so incredible to finally see them stop pretending that nothing was there. Madison’s tough, protective personality paired with Kyle’s support just works. I loved how they slowly let their guards down and figured things out together which made this such a fun read.

One of my favorite parts of this series has always been the found-family vibe and this book definitely has that again. The Paris Roommates feel like a real group of friends who show up for each other no matter what, and coming back to their friendships one last time felt bittersweet. And of course, the Paris setting is just perfect. Being here while reading it made me want to wander into every cafe and restaurant.

Getting to read this while actually being in Paris made the whole experience even better. I really love this couple, and their book was such a beautiful way to wrap up the series. I’m already excited to see what Ava Miles writes next!

I have loved every visit I have taken through the eyes of The Paris Roommates and it's bittersweet to say goodbye. However, Kyle and Madison were the perfect note to end on with The Paris Roommates.

The tension and love had been building between the two throughout the other books, making this a very highly anticipated read for me. It did not disappoint, they brought heat...and the ice cream! Two people so clearly in tune with each other, who can anticipate the other's thoughts and movements, two best friends who have to decide if it taking their friendship beyond that was worth everything they'd be risking.

I loved how this book brought everything together, you don't feel as if you're left with unanswered questions. It felt as if you were there with the roommates, cheering them all on in their new chapters and in their successes. A few obstacles along the way, but I was not worried, because there was always magic at Nanine's and in Paris.

Thank you, Ava Miles, for an eARC in exchange for my honest review.

I love a good friends to lovers story and Kyle and Madison’s story was so beautiful! Madison has the dream of getting a Michelin star for her restaurant and Kyle wants so badly to help her do that. I loved their journey from friends to lovers. Madison is afraid of losing focus on her restaurant if she falls too hard for Kyle. She also wants Kyle to be able to follow his own dreams. In the end, they belong together and they both know it. I love the supportive friends and found family aspect of this series. I have definitely enjoyed this series by Ava Miles! Thank you to Ava Miles for the ARC copy!

A perfect ending to a great series

I loved that these two characters finally found each other, I had been waiting for their book! It includes all of our beloved Paris Roommates characters, with some special surprises along the way. It isn’t an easy journey for Madison and Kyle, a lot of ups and downs but well worth the wait. There were several plot twists I just couldn’t see how they were going to be resolved, which makes for an excellent read!
I recommend the whole series from beginning to end!

Happy for the PRG, sad for me

I have enjoyed the Paris Roommates Group and their stories so much! Ava's writing is excellent, scene descriptions and character development superb as always. Loved Kyle and Madison - the push pull of their relationship, the friendship and love they share, the drama of an old feud - they certainly earned their HEA! I wish I could have eaten at Nanine's, but reading about Madison's creations will have to be enough, because fiction. Sad this series is over but I am looking forward to the next one.

One of my favorite series from Ava

I eagerly anticipated the available date of each of the Paris Roommates books. Each character's story was fulfilling and I loved how that the author kept the family entwined and involved in every story. Ending with Kyle and Madison and the restaurants return to glory was a satisfying completion to the series. Don't miss any of the series!

Meant to be together

Madison and Kyle's story was the cherry on top. I have so enjoyed all The Paris Roommates books, that this one just brought the finale beautifully to a close. Madison and Kyle went through hell to get to their happily ever but showed that love and courage was stronger than revenge.

Amazing end to the series. I laughed; I cried; I wallowed in sadness. Most of all I surrounded myself with the love of these 6 friends and the only real mom most of them knew. I wanted to be one of her courses. Amazing final book to the series!! Well done Ava!

End of an Era

This was the perfect send-off to The Paris Roommates series and I’m honestly not ready to say goodbye 😭✨

Kyle and Madison have had this slow-burn tension building in the background for so long, and watching it finally unfold? SO worth it. Their dynamic is everything I love in a friends-to-lovers romance… so supportive, layered, a little messy, but deeply rooted in respect and real feelings.

Madison’s drive to earn her Michelin star added such a strong, ambitious edge to the story. I loved that this wasn’t just about romance, it was about identity, passion, and figuring out how to hold onto your dreams and love someone fully. And Kyle?? The way he shows up for her without dimming her light… top tier book boyfriend energy.

The Paris setting, the food, the found family vibes, it all felt so immersive and comforting, while still giving us emotional depth and tension. It’s the kind of book that makes you want to book a flight, fall in love, and chase your goals all at once.

If you love:
✨ friends to lovers
✨ slow burn payoff
✨ strong FMC with big dreams
✨ supportive, swoony MMC
✨ cozy, found family vibes

…this is 100% for you.

Ava Miles really said “let me end this series in the most satisfying, heart-full way possible” and she DELIVERED.

“When I saw you, I fell in love, and you smiled because you knew.” - Shakespeare

This is just but one of the beautiful quotes mentioned in the The Paris Roommates - Kyle & Madison by @avamiles that resonated with me and made me sigh my heart out. 💕

Then, there’s the votive candles… and the ice cream, and yes, one of the author’s favorites, the 12:01… and the puppies, and Pierre… there are so many things to love and swoon over in this book.💕

For the last novel in the series, Kyle and Madison’s story is certainly not the least. It is sweet and romantic and full of moments of growth for both of them — and for the rest of the Paris roommates. I appreciate how they all helped each other out to ensure that Kyle get his happy-ever-after and Madison her Michelin star. I also love how the couple worked through their problems in the healthiest, most mature way possible. Yes, they fought, but they weathered through it by understanding each other and seeing each other’s perspectives. Isn’t that beautiful?

This is the kind of story that will make you sigh and fall in love with love and Paris and excellent food and bread and friendship.

Thank you so much, Ava, not only for introducing me and others to the Paris roommates. You have given us five beautiful love stories that will live in many hearts forever.
