This quickly leads readers to form an opinion about Snape, but is Snape truly an insensitive, heartless character? One who has sworn allegiance to the Dark Lord again? Or does a painful past lie behind his appearance and actions?
To fully understand the Harry Potter storyline, it is essential to observe Snape's role from the beginning to the bitter end and not just focus on The Boy Who Lived or The Dark Lord.
Every action involving Snape from the moment Rowling introduced him into the storyline, including the events in The Cursed Child, has been analyzed by the author: Lorrie Kim.
