Forbidden HeroineBeautiful Monster MMCTattoo ClaimingEnemies-to-LoversCaptive ObsessionConspiracy & Legacy DestructionDual POV, First PersonBreaking Amara is the fifth and final book in the Feral Boys of Westpoint series by Haven Snow. This series is classified as dark romance and is intended for mature audiences only.
Well this has been a ride! This is the end of the Feral Boys and I’m sad to see them go. This is Julian and Amara’s story. While it has some of the same vibes as the previous books, this one focuses more on bring down the Board and Westpoint. It was a great ending for these characters.
What an absolutely feral, pulse-pounding finale. This book delivered a brutal, breathtaking conclusion to the Feral Boys of West Point series, and Haven Snow did not miss, serving devastation and triumph all over again. The plot was relentless and razor-sharp, wrapping the series in the most fitting, explosive ending imaginable. Julian is yet another unhinged, darkly magnetic MMC, sent to hunt Amara, the headmaster’s daughter who the world sees as compliant and obedient, but whom Julian instantly recognizes as pure fire beneath the surface, dragging that defiance out of her even as he forces her to submit. While this book strays from a traditional “hunt,” the second half is even more vicious, shifting focus to dismantling the entire corrupt system, and West Point remains as horrifying as ever. The medical examination scenes absolutely wrecked me. Hitting harder than before as they expose how every single character is just a pawn in the higher-ups’ twisted game. The intensity is off the charts, with graphic moments and emotional carnage, yet the ending was deeply satisfying, granting everyone the closure they earned through blood and pain. I also loved Eve’s role here unlike previous books where the FMCs faced the MMCs alone, this time there’s real female solidarity, and watching Amara bond with the other girls was everything. Amara and Julian may not be my favorite couple, but their chemistry is undeniable, and Julian’s filthy, commanding way of speaking? Absolutely scorching. Overall, this was a savage, unforgettable read with a gripping plot, unforgettable characters, and a finale that hit exactly where it needed to.
Sadly, the final chapter has arrived with the last of the Feral Boys, and what a send-off it is. I’ve loved all four previous books, but Julian was always the one who had me hooked. The most enigmatic. The most dangerous. The one you can never quite read. With Julian, you’re constantly guessing what’s going on behind those watchful eyes and that makes his pairing with Amara, the Dean’s daughter, utterly irresistible. From the moment they’re thrown together, it’s impossible to tell whether he plans to break her… or if he has something else in mind. Raised in isolation and under her father’s control, Amara never expected to become her father’s pawn. Thrust into a brutal world she never asked for, her instinct is survival, to stay quiet and invisible. But Julian sees straight through the obedient, compliant façade and recognizes the fire buried beneath. He doesn’t want to tame her; he wants to shatter that shell and watch her burn. As the academy gears up for yet another hunt, both sides are quietly laying plans that threaten to obliterate Westpoint’s legacy once and for all. The boys have been plotting the institution’s downfall from the very beginning, but this time the girls finally get their turn to leave scars too. Unlike the runners in the earlier books, Amara isn’t completely alone, and I loved how Eve stepped in to prepare her for what was coming. Not that it made things easier—because wow, that medical exam—but at least she wasn’t thrown in blind. Ultimately, Amara rises from the ashes like a true phoenix, claiming her revenge with her Feral Boy firmly at her side. As for the climax, I found myself torn between cheering and just a hint of disappointment. On one hand, watching the boys and their mates make the villains pay was deeply satisfying. On the other, I couldn’t help but think… they could have done this sooner. After everything they’d endured to reach this final round, I may have been expecting something a little more explosive. Still, it was a fitting, symbolic end to a wild and brutal journey. This series has been a thrill from start to finish, and instead of tears, I’m left perched on tenterhooks, impatiently waiting to see what Haven unleashes next. Here’s to another round of beautifully unhinged heroes, ready to make us gasp, squirm, and revel in guilty delight as they take what (or who) they want without a single f*ck to give. It’s all been leading up to this — the last Hunt, the final Feral Boy and his Runner, the last gasp of the Board before the reckoning it doesn’t see coming.
Julian Roth is the last of the Feral Boys to hunt, and his chosen is Amara Marcus, daughter of Westpoint’s dean. Amara has always known her father considered her a bargaining chip rather than a person but she’s still stunned when she has to stare that reality in the face. The Hunt is just a formality for her and Julian — their fathers have already signed a contract for Amara to bear the Roth heir. Amara’s and Julian’s fathers are too focused on the next generation to see what the current one has planned.
In earlier books, we’ve seen that Julian is all about control. He’s barely restrained violence hidden beneath casual indifference. He’s unaffected by almost everything but that does not include Amara. She’s pierced the surface and gotten beneath his skin, but his danger is shaped differently for her. Amara is tougher than she thinks but it takes her a while to show that on the outside; once she taps into the power that lives under her skin, the dean and the Board would do well to watch out. They think they can still control the next generation, but will that arrogance serve them or the united Feral Boys and their Runners?
I loved this series so much, and this was a great send-off! I enjoyed seeing/hearing from all the Feral Boys and their chosen women and seeing the Board get its comeuppance. I wouldn’t have minded more details on gathering them, so the outcome would’ve been even more satisfying. As always, the journey of the main couple is twisty and full of complications but it’s not long before Julian and Amara have one thing to thank their fathers for.
All that being said, there were a couple of things that left me with questions (SPOILERS AHEAD):
The Funders were not eliminated, so what’s to stop them from just starting over with a new Board and dean?
If hits on the Boys were planned to take place at the Hunt, why weren’t they killed when they got there with the Board members?
With Julian’s dad dead, how is he going to be able to afford his lifestyle?
Honestly, I’m not bothered by not having those answers. I loved the book, loved the series, and can’t wait to see what Haven comes up with next!

We've come to the final book in the Feral Boys of Westpoint Series.
Amara is the headmaster's daughter, the one who was supposed to be untouchable. She's being sent to the academy to fulfill the hunt and secure the academy's position for the future. Julian, the last of the feral boys to be paired for the hunt, is determined to burn the society as they know it to the ground.
We've been waiting for this moment, where the Feral Boys and their women will enact their revenge and take down the board. This one doesn't have the hunt like the rest, as they end up fighting for their freedom.
Julian and Amara are great together and bring lots of heat! I enjoyed seeing the others from the rest of the series and was rooting for them.
There was a lot of tension, suspense and action, and I was happy with the ending!

WHEW! That was one hell of a ride. This book was the thrilling conclusion to the Feral Boys of West Point series and she did disappoint at all, because Haven Snow served AGAIN. This plot was amazing and marked the perfect ending! Julian is another insane mmc who’s tasked to hunt Amara, who’s the headmasters daughter. She’s “compliant” or “obedient” in the eyes of others but Julian sees the fight in her and brings it out (while making her submit to him at the same time). However we don’t have an official “hunt” in this book as the second half focuses on taking down the entire school system. West Point is a horrifying school and the medical examination scenes in this series prove it. They RUIN ME every single time and this one hit really damn hard. Because it really shows you how everyone is a pawn in the higher ups game. The plot definitely intense, with quite a bit of gore, but I was really happy with the ending, because everyone got the closure they deserved. Another thing I really loved was the contribution of Eve in this book! In all the other books the fmcs were basically alone in facing the terrible monsters that were the mmcs. However in this book Eve steps up and we can Amara bond with the other girls which I loved! I loved both Amara and Julian, they may not be my favourite couple but they had really solid chemistry! Julian is your typical dark romance mmc, but the way this man speaks it HAWTT!!!! Overall, I really enjoyed this book with its amazing plot and characters, the full circle moment was so sweet and give it a 4.5/5.
So we're really there. With wet faces, snotty red noses, and crumpled handkerchiefs in hand, I walked with them to the very end. And what an end it was. For their freedom. Achjo. I'm going to miss the Feral Boys of Westpoint terribly.
Each of the boys was original, each book was unique, and I devoured each one, eagerly awaiting the next. Simply an amazing conclusion to a series about beautiful but broken people who fall and rise, become hardened and strong, reborn.
Amara - she was locked in a cage for so long that she didn't know who she really was. But thanks to Julian, the girls, her anger towards her own father and the council, and her own will, she found herself, and it suited her very well.
Julian - the embodiment of calm, I loved him. Smooth with a smile that you didn't know if he was mocking you or if it was permanent, like a mask. His hunt was a little different, and in the course of events, he finally got his chance at the very end.
And I'm glad everyone got what they deserved.
It's hard for me to say goodbye to everyone, but I believe that the author will give me (us) more gems that will be hard to put down, and I'm really looking forward to it. Thank you for the wonderful experience with Feral Boys of Westpoint.

Breaking Amara by Haven Snow completely pulled me in from the very first chapter and did not let go. This is one of those books that lives in your head long after you’ve finished it. Amara is such a compelling main character—flawed, strong, and painfully human. Watching her break, rebuild, and slowly reclaim her power was both heartbreaking and empowering. Her emotional journey felt raw and real, and I found myself deeply invested in every decision she made. The atmosphere of this book is dark, intense, and beautifully written. Haven Snow does an incredible job creating tension and emotion without it ever feeling forced. The relationships in this story are complex and layered, and I loved how nothing felt black and white. The chemistry, the emotional push and pull, and the darker themes were handled in a way that kept me turning pages nonstop. What really stood out to me was how emotional this book was. It made me feel everything—anger, sadness, hope, and even moments of healing. If you enjoy dark romance with depth, strong character development, and an emotionally gripping storyline, Breaking Amara is absolutely worth the read. This was an easy five stars for me, and I can’t wait to read more from this author.

There was no doubt for me that I was reading this book as soon as I finished the one before it. I had become so invested in this series and I needed to know how it would end. The Feral Boys of Westpoint drew me in so hard and fast. I loved every book in this series and I knew I would love this one. The ending was spectacular. I was not disappointed in the slightest.
Like each of the Feral Boys before him, Julian also caught my interest, but he was the one who intrigued me the most. He wasn’t a huge character in each of the other books. He kept to himself a lot. Described as having a beautiful face, but he always seemed aloof or not interested. I knew there was something deeper to him and I couldn’t wait to read his story to learn more about him.
Breaking Amara, like the other books, is about a new female student starting at Westpoint looking to make her mark on the school, the other students, the world, or even just herself.
Amara is the daughter of the Dean of the school and she has been kept locked away like a princess in a tower her entire life. She knows she has every right to walk the halls of Westpoint like anyone else, but she is unfamiliar with the world around her and the people. She is ultimately alone.
Julian is fierce, rough, and unbreakable in a lot of ways. But he does care for and want Amara. He is loyal to her and will go to any lengths to protect her and keep her standing on her own feet when everyone else around them wants to tear her down. For the first time cracks show in his armour he wears all the time when he is around her.
I think this was my favourite book in the series. Not only was Julian my favourite of the Feral Boys, but getting to the end of this story and seeing the conclusion to what was building right from the first page of the first book was so satisfying.
If you like bad boys, academia settings, secret societies, and strong female characters, you have to read these books. They will not disappoint!.

This is the fifth book in the Feral Boys of Westpoint series and in this one, we get to meet Julian and Amara. Like the first four books in this series, the storyline is intense and comes with huge twists and turns in the plot line. Like many of these dark romances, you're going to have to suspend your belief in the world as you know it and just accept what happens on the page. Since this is the latest installment of standalone books that are linked by an overarching storyline, the readers got to meet Julian in previous stories and have some ideas as to what kind of a person he is. So, finally getting to a story of his own felt rewarding. There are dark themes throughout the story, so I would peruse the TWs before diving in. There's plenty of angst, push and pull dynamic, and unhinged MMC, all tied up with top shelf spice. You won't be disappointed.

I was honestly dreading the end of this series because I am not ready to leave Westpoint, but Amara and Julian went out with an absolute bang. Amara being the headmaster’s daughter made the forbidden stakes feel so much higher than the previous books. Julian is completely unhinged in his quest to dismantle the empire, yet his obsession with Amara is strangely grounding. I loved the specific detail of the tattoo claiming, which felt like such a permanent, dark way to mark his territory. The pacing kept me on edge, especially as the Feral Boys finally teamed up to wreak total havoc on the academy. It was deeply satisfying to see the secrets finally crumble after all the buildup from the first four books. The dual POV was essential here because Julian’s internal monologue is just as twisted and fascinating as you’d expect. I am genuinely sad it is over, but this was the perfect, gritty finale for such a messy group of people.
This series has been one helle of a ride and this final installment is the cherry on the cake!
From my opinion, Julian has been the most intriguing one of the Feral boys and seeing him being paired with the headmasters daughter, is brilliant!
Amara is being used as a pawn but Julian sees her as she truly is…
While in the other installments, the “hunt” is the main topic, in this final book, it shifts from the hunt to bringing the system down.
Haven Snow is a master in storytelling, crafting intriguing characters and bringing them together into a razor sharp journey with suspense and chemistry!
I highly recommend this series when you like action, suspense and spicy chemistry!.

I loved this!! It's Julian & Amara's story & with that the Feral Boys of Westpoint comes to an end; & what an ending!! She's the headmaster's daughter & is Julian's match in every way, although it takes a while for her to embrace her darker side. There's a lot of things happening here; the guys have found out about an alternative from the board; they have plans for them all. Luckily the guys hear about it & steps up plans & it was flawless!! There was a lot of justice served & I loved catching up with them all!! The chemistry between Julian & Amara is amazing!! I hate seeing this series end but damn it was an awesome ride!! Loved the spice & the story!! Highly recommend this series & author!!
Wow!!!!! The final feral boy is Julian Roth the son of the governor and he is paired with Amara Marcus the daughter of the Dean the last female of the Marcus bloodline line. This book uncovers so many mysteries of Westpoint, the girls that disappear, the fact that the school is essentially just a breeding cult, and so much more. Amara and the other girls, Julian and the other Feral Boys have decided enough is enough. That in itself makes this book amazing. Loved every page turning minute!!!!! Want more!!!! I need to know what happens next with each couple!!!! Will there be a spinoff so we as readers can find out what happens next?
The fifth and final book of the Feral Boys of Westpoint series, Breaking Amara sees to the eradication of the Council. Amara is the headmasters daughter, forbidden, but Julian doesn’t let that get between them. He’s obsessed! And she is about to come into her own as she fights alongside him and the other couples. The wrap up for this series is wildly intense! Sure there’s plenty of spice, but what truly shines is the intricacies of all the characters and the world that is developed around them. So many highs and lows, the danger, and the fighting against a brutal system. Truly magnificent series!.

Okay let be honest here. Did like the book? Yes. Was it a good read? Also yes... But for some reason beyond my reasoning I'm kind of disappointed. I don't know if I just expected too much but to me this felt like the weakest book in the series and I struggled quite a lot getting into it. There's no major pointers to why I'm disappointed it's just a feeling that there could have been this big, beautiful, crazy, rollercoaster of feelings and twists but it just fell flat. I have absolutely loved Havens previous books so I'm really puzzled witht his feeling.

Breaking Amara is the fifth and final book in the Feral Boys of Westpoint series. For maximum enjoyment read the books in series order.
The characters continue to grow and develop and fascinate. Plot evolves and hooks the reader with a satisfying conclusion. World building continues to excel and impress. All in all a great conclusion to the series. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend this series.

For the final book of this series, it starts off with her wondering why she is at this school. She didn't know why her dad has put her at his school where he is the dean. What can she do? Later on, Julian makes his move after she meets his family. She doesn't want anything to do with him or the school but things change rapidly with them both.
I am glad that I had this opportunity to read & review this amazing final book. Thankyou to Haven & her team.

Hard to believe that this is the end and the couple that ties up the series is Amara and Julian. Amara is not sure why she needs to be at this school which she doesn't even want to attend. But Amara's story is about finding your inner strength no matter the obstacles and Julian is there for her, though she wanted nothing to do with him initially. The ending was satisfying and I'm glad I was here for the entire series.
This is the last book in the Feral Boys series. It's a dark romance - check triggers accordingly.
This is Julian and Amara's story. Amara is the Dean's daughter, and Julian is paired with her to hunt her. This book is a bit different, though - there is more focus on the girls' bond with each other and the efforts to bring down the board and re-establish order in their world.
A great end to the series, and I can't wait to see more from this author.
Off. The. Hook! This was one hell of a finale for this series. Julian and Amara were amazing. This book literally brought the house down. There was so much chaos and intensity. I was blown away. I’m so sad to see this come to an end. But I was so not disappointed with how this came to a close. I even loved hire the girls all came together at the end. Bravo! So well written, just absolutely amazing.

This is book five in the series and while it focuses on Julian and Amara, it also wraps a whole lot of stuff from the series. There is plenty of drama as the Feral Boys and their girls wreak their own brand of havoc, mixed with the sizzling romance that develops between our two MCs. Dark, sinfully delicious, obsessed, forbidden, oh it's gorgeous. I've loved this series!!!.

Endings are bittersweet as this one closes the chapter on the Feral Boys. It’s Julian’s turned to be paired and he’s met his match with Amara. She’s just the right mix of sweet to his feral and together with their friends they set their world on fire.

I really enjoyed reading this story. From the moment that I started reading I was hooked and could not put it down. It moves along at a great pace making for an easy read. It has interesting characters that you want to know no matter what happens and a story that will not disappoint. This book is a must read that needs to be on your TBR list. You will not be disappointed.
we do get to see Julian in this story, the fifth of the boys. He gets Amara the Deans daughter. They already have it planned out. I am glad he got his book but I am not sure about the ending of westpoint. Somewhat to much I think.
