I... kinda want to give it four stars, but I didn't like it enough to be able to do that, although it was rather good. The problem was that both protagonists were basically unlikeable - but because it was on purpose, it was interesting, and all in all really well done. It's just not something deserving the phrase "Sweet & Happy Boys Love Life" (which is Gush magazine's motto). But it's definitely worth reading.
Wachi, the main character is a successful young entrepreneur of sorts, rich, good looking, suave, and an asshole. He only judges people according to whether they can be useful to him or not, and doesn't really have any feelings (of friendship or otherwise) for anyone. That is, until a gym acquaintance of his drags him to a bar, where he meets Ḿakio, the barkeeper. Actually, they had already met the same morning - and even though Wachi is as far from a romantic as can be, he is tempted to think it's fate.
SPOILERS follow, although if you look at the title of the manga, it shouldn't be too surprising, unless you're me. Wachi, fascinated by and drawn to Makio, keeps going to the bar until one night they end up sleeping together. It's the first time sex felt like this for Wachi, which is to say it was amazing, and it certainly looked like it was the same for Makio. But when he wakes up the next morning, Makio is gone - and so is his expensive suit and his wallet. It turns out that Makio is a con-man who enjoys playing tricks on rich guys mostly just because he can. Still, Wachi finds it impossible to forget him.
Their relationship was really interesting, if really fucked-up. Reading about that kind of thing makes me really anxious, especially because they don't - it would be wrong to say they don't change at all, but neither of them turn into saints. So yeah, it wasn't a book I liked, but one I could appreciate.
Also, the art is really nice and there's a hot ossan under the cover. *g*
I’m not really sure I like this manga. Both of the MC are kinda awful, deceiving and cruel to others. One of them actually is a proud con, someone that makes a fool out of you and then takes all your money away. And the other is a CEO that’s only good at making money.
But, despite knowing this awful behavior, the CEO accepts it so he can be with the con at all costs –weird, toxic relationship, right here in case you didn’t noticed.
I gotta be honest and say that I was drawn by the art style and the sex scenes are really hot, but the story lacks depth for me, so I’m not sure I’ll be continuing with the series. Maybe another time.
2018: Each time I read it, I like the story and the characters more.
2017: After reading it for a second time I'll change my rating from 2 to 3 stars. I feel like I could be more open about the story this time around.
2016: See Sophie's review. She pretty much nails it. The only difference I make here is that I can only give 2 stars because the story didn't satisfy me enough for more stars.
I was expecting Makio to con Wachi when they met again in the bar. Wachi's friend already knew about Makio and didn't give any warnings so I thought at first that they were working together. But I still love the fact that Makio is slowly falling for Wachi. They may have a complicated relationship but I am sure they will become one of those cool, lovey-dovey couples in the future. I want to see Makio confessing to Wachi soon.

Man.. I already have mixed feelings about this series so far and I've only read the first chapter. HAHAHA. Well, first off, I really like the character designs. The fact that the main character wears glasses is a definite plus. HAHAHA. The uke is very smart in conning rich people with however much money that he knows wouldn't bother to file a police report. That's really interesting. OOOOHHH. Makio is so flirtatious man but at the same time he's so devious. HAHAHA. This is such a psychotic sort of story. The "love" is so weird. Like, you can sort of feel the attraction that the BOTH of them have towards each other but is Makio just doing it for the fun of it? Clearly, Satoru seems to have fallen in some strange love. It's so expensive. HAHAHA. It kind of makes me think that both of them are trying to one-up each other.
Yup. Satoru plans on conning Makio now in the next chapter. HAHA. Whelp. They've changed Satoru's name to Wachi. Now I'm going to have to get used to it. HAHA.
I always feel the urge to use the faceclaims for roleplays but then I think slightly about how I would use them, get agitated, and then leave it alone. HAHAHA. THOUGH THEY ARE SO GOOD LOOKING.
WHOAH. THAT MEETING. He's so fly. As soon as you think that Wachi is getting closer and closer to becoming a conman himself, Makio pulls a fast one over him. HAHAHA. He's just that good, I suppose. DANG.
Mannnn. Makio is so cool, mannn.
WHELP. That's volume one. Volume two has such a gorgeous cover, man.

Satoru is a young CEO and quite successful, but he has no interest in a serious relationship. One morning he meets a man who makes his heart race, when he meets him again in a bar in the evening, he learns the man's name is Makio and he is a bartender. Bewitched by him Satoru vistis the bar every evening, thinking their meeting might have been fate. But soon he discovers another scheme.
Well, our dear Makio is actually a former conman and likes to play games from time to time. After their first time he steals Satorus clothes and wallet, leaving him penniless an a hotel room. Satoru himself is also not a nice man, being arogant and coldhearted. Satoru discovers the truth, but instead of giving up he comes back to Makio. He has fallen head over heels for him and will continue to be with him even if it costs him his money and job. Like that their strange relationship starts, with none of them knowing how it will turn out. Two lonely men having trust issues and slowly (I mean the important stuff, of course they screw around quite fast) approaching each other. For such a short manga I really liked the story and the characters, the yaoi stuff was nice too ;)
I'm so conflicted about this. I thought I'd dislike Makio.. but I just can't. I thought I'd hate how weak Satou is- except, he isn't. It takes a special type of strength to forgive and be together with someone in the way that he does with Makio. And most importantly.. I'm digging it! Can't wait to read the upcoming chapters.
I did not like any of the characters in this novel. And, as depicted in another review, I don't care if it was intentional or not. I can connect to characters I don't like. I can enjoy them for what they are. But that wasn't the case here, unfortunately. And the story overall was too much of a back and forth for me to enjoy it. So... This kind of fell flat for me. Still going to read the next one, though.
