POV: You're the only single person in your friend group, and you hate it.
Ever since the blur of summer, Maia has been thinking about something more. She answered the call of the streets after a failed engagement, and while being a vigilante was fun, it's not her long term goal. She's looking for slow mornings, steady laughter, and strong foundations.
Enter Ermias and Luci. They've been searching far and wide for their missing piece with no luck. Their taste in women varies greatly, and no one has fit the bill yet. Until Ermias bumps until Maia one autumn morning. They're falling fast, and while Maia seems like she could be the one, there's more dubious powers at work here than just a chance hallway meeting.
What happens when divine intervention and sheer dumb luck team up to bring people together? Magic, mayhem, and midnight kisses. After all, all good girls deserve a good girl.
This was a sexy, cute poly story. Ermias and Lucianna, yes they were black lol, were married and had been searching for their third for a few years but little did they know she had been in their orbit all along. Maia was finally recovering from a terrible breakup that had her wilding in the name of revenge. She was ready for something more, something real. She was bisexual and self proclaimed greedy, she was hoping to find a man and woman to satisfy her needs. Above all that she wanted someone who was honest and trustworthy. It's a little bit of a slow burn with just enough spice layered to keep you interested. They each meet Maia individually, but when they finally get together whew the chemistry was felt. I wish we would have gotten time with them together out of the bedroom..Maia buying plants with Erm, Erm spending a bag on them while they shop...something like that.
Thank you aria for the early copy. All opinions are my own.
100 pages of everything you need 💕
🌹Why choose ✨Hexed 💖They fall first
This fast paced FFM novella was everything I needed. A little witchcraft, some jokey jokes, a curved 🍆, and wlw scenes. Like is there anything better?!
You might wanna think twice about stealing fruit from someone’s tree but then again 👀 maybe this will make you double down
Thank you, Aria Daze, for my advance copy of The Glistening: A Group Project. This story felt like a mix of magic, longing, and tenderness that pulled me in right away. Maia’s vulnerability after heartbreak, her desire for something deeper than fleeting thrills, and her quiet hope for love that feels steady and soft was so relatable.
Ermias and Luci brought such balance to her journey. Their search for their missing piece, and the way fate or something bigger brought them together with Maia, felt both intentional and enchanting. What I loved most was how their story blended chaos and sweetness: divine timing, chance encounters, laughter, and the kind of love that feels like coming home.
This wasn’t just a romance, it was about healing, timing, and letting yourself believe that love can find you in the most unexpected ways. It was tender, magical, and beautifully written.
I freaking LOVED this book. There is no story or book better than the ones when an author tells the story they want to read! When they write what makes them happy and not just what might sell. From start to finish this book put me in my feelings. It made be feel seen in ways that made my heart ache, it made me laugh and smile like I was hearing a story told by an old friend. It made me yarn for the possibilities it represents while feeling represented. And I’m sure you’re thinking girl it’s a 122 page erotica it can’t be all that. But it can because if you read the dedication you’ll get it. If you read books by indie authors that aren’t caged by biased trad publishing rules you’ll get it! If Aria Daze wasn’t one of my hands down favorite authors before (which would be crazy) she definitely is now. Like I love her all over again like it’s my first read. Do you know how diabolical you have to be to make an erotica someone’s comfort read, lol!
How Aria Daze managed to make an erotic novella a rom com and a cozy read at the same damn time IDK, but she did that! This book is cute, sweet and tender but baybee folks are getting folded!
I had such a good time with Maia (from Group Trip IYKYK), Luci and Ermias! They were so gentle and loving with each other but they were also INNIT!!! A feel good Why Choose doesn’t sound like a thing but that’s exactly what this is. It delivers humor, spice and just enough Halloween vibes.
I was wilding for reading this at 9am but I’m glad Maia got her happy ending. I can’t wait to see them on the group trip. I know it’s gonna be a time. Let me head over there now
This was different for me, I enjoyed it but I also felt like I was missign something. Like I was supposed to read something before this but Im not sure. I did read Group Trip.
This fits right into the spooky season and was different for me.
This book had me ready to bite into a peach just to manifest my own cosmic connection like Maia, Ermias, and Lucianna. Ermias with those dominant cinnamon roll vibes + Lucianna’s flirty charm? Chef’s kiss. Then Maia slides in and baby… it turned into hot, glistening MAGIC. The chemistry? Electric. The banter? On point. The trust? Beautiful. And don’t even get me started on Grandma—-that’s my girl! It’s fast-paced, heartfelt, sexy, and dripping with “meant-to-be” energy. If magical romance with divine intervention, shenanigans, and found connections is your thing, this NEEDS to be on your TBR. Period.
If you haven’t read Group Trip, I don’t know what you’re waiting for; but go ahead and fix that. Head to her website and grab your copy! The Glistening was the continuation we didn’t even know we needed, and yet it delivered in the most perfect Aria Daze way; effortlessly beautiful, tender, and oh so naughty.
Every time I read one of her books, it’s five stars, glowing reviews and a chef’s kiss. Aria Daze has given us such a gift in her catalog, and watching her grow, stretch, and experiment across different styles and stories has been nothing short of amazing. Her writing continues to evolve, giving us more of the person she is and I’m right there, reading everything she drops.
10 out of 10. Always a pleasure. Always worth the read. And what I love most? These are stories I revisit. Like genuinely go back and reread, because they hold up every single time.
As we head into the holiday season, I’m really hoping we get another book (fingers crossed) but even if we don’t, there’s no shortage of Aria Daze comfort reads. Human Resources? Always a good time. Rudy Jones’ New Year’s Resolution? A hit, every year. We are truly blessed to have a writer like her out here giving us these stories.
Sometimes, you just gotta pick up a random book based off a raving review. This is one of those books that was recommended by a mutual book friend, and I loved it. I'll admit, "why choose" romances aren't usually the first, second, or third genre of romance that I'll choose from. I'm not against multiples at all, but something more than 3 always makes me scratch my head. Thankfully, this book features a romance between three people, and it was written perfectly.
I love that we get to see multiple POVs as well! Maia is not necessarily looking for love, but she does seek affection. After her last poly relationship ended badly, she's not quite sure what kind of relationship she wants to seek out. Ermias and Lucianna are in a devoted marriage, but they've always given into their mutual desire to share. They've never been able to find that right fit, but are willing to try. When they each meet Maia, separately, there's clear sparks between them. Maia and Ermias seem to hit it off, and Maia and Lucianna also seem to have mutual attraction.
I like how this story progressed, how the romance built on more than just physical attraction, and how all the pieces seems to fall into place as if fate was just waiting for these three to find one another.
“I didn’t want to break her heart so I simply wouldn’t. Instead I’d just break her back. No correction, we’d break her back. Together.”
If you are looking for a FFM poly romance:
-married couple looking for a third -witchcraft -insta lust -3/5 spice level -under 130 pages -based in Georgia -perfect for spooky season -solid epilogue
I loved how the husband was with all the antics and was willing to step aside and let his wife navigate how to woo their potential third.
The witchcraft element was the best part for me. It was different than typical storylines under this trope. The October vibes alongside the spiritual practices made me enjoy this story easily.
This is a good beginner “why choose” romance for readers who are trying to gauge if this trope is for them. This novella gives a little bit of everything from spice to storyline to realistic poly relationships.
Pearl-cluthing smutty Halloween mixed with some witchy manifestation gives us the story of Maia, Ermias, & Luci. This is a follow-up to Group Trip so read that first to get the full backstory. Maia wants to find her person/people and little did she know, stealing a peach off a tree would set it all into motion. Luci & Erm are married & looking for their third. Once Erm meets Maia at her gun range he knows she is the one. This book details what happens when all 3 unknowingly show up to the same Halloween party and what happens after...clap it up for Ms. Aria!
Thank you for the ARC! I’m not a spooky season girlie at all but this gave all the feels of the Fall season. It was cozy, magical, and sensual like a nice spiked spiced apple cider, it leaves the taste of something warm and enticing on the tip of your tongue. Although a short read, you still feel the anticipation and the yearning between the characters. Overall The Glistening is the perfect read to get you in the seasonal mood for Fall.
If you are looking to get into reading about polyamory, this is the perfect starter book. I love that this book was straightforward and to the point. A couple looking for a third that fits perfectly into their lifestyles. The journey was fast and almost instant, but I loved it and how it was written. I don’t agree with some of the warnings because gang activities mean a completely different thing to me than what happened in this book.
Great quick read with a good mix of romance and erotica.
As usual, Aria Daze came through with the perfect amount of comedy, knowledge and jaw dropping spice to keep me locked in. This lady always has me googling something or other when I am reading her books and I had such a good time reading this. I can't wait to see how the new characters integrate with the group in the next chapter of the saga.
Who would’ve thought a stolen peach and a hex would lead to wet dreams and the start of forever? Aria Daze has way of giving us characters that are so rich not just in their emotions, but in their personalities. Maia, Lucianna, and Ermias are as passionate as they soft and in all the best ways. I look forward to what’s coming in the next story!
A little bit of magic, some cozy, tender moments, and a lot of spice make up The Glistening, a spicy, yet sweet, polyamorous read. Author Aria Daze has packed this fast-paced novella with bonding, banter, and familial acceptance. This was a wonderfully queer tale and I look forward to reading more by Daze!
These ladies were perfect for each other. They loved each other’s glistening glaze. Erm was just there lol. Nah, they loved him too. I love that Luci and Erm took so well to granny. I loved how granny pushed Maia to be free and go out and find love again. Now, let me go read the next book.
Omg Aria never misses! I just knew this book was going to be everything I needed and more and it was exactly that. The chemistry, the witchy vibes and the SPICE. 10/10. I could’ve read 300 more pages of this perfection!
Aria Daze NEVER misses! 100 pages of erotica, witchy vibes, and glistening goodness. This was a small story, but packed a mighty fast punch. This is the perfect fall fast pace novella to read for the season.
As usual, Aria gave us a spicy time with love pouring through the pages. Magic, why choose, and instant love are some of my favorite tropes, and this had them all. I absolutely loved these three. Just think, where would she have been if she hadn’t eaten the peach?
This book was a 5 star rating for me! Ten/Ten I would highly recommended! The next time I come across a fruit tree I'll be sure to pluck one for myself
Maia ate the forbidden fruit!! But it wasn’t THAT forbidden! It was the start to the best chapter of her life. Who knew!?! Loved Ermias, Luci and Maia together! And Maia’s grandma was a whole vibe and funny as hell!
This women words is seduction on pages like I feel everything in my head I get to explore the poly love I may never get in real life and for that I thank you!
Every single Aria Daze book never disappoints! Love them all! They show the beauty of regular life a mixed with the whimsy of her characters falling in love and lust combined! Amazing!
Aria never misses. I love that we got an update on Maia bc I really missed everybody from Group Trip. This book was grown and sexy. Please have your partner or your favorite seat available.
