Enjoyed this one!
Sometimes, you just gotta pick up a random book based off a raving review. This is one of those books that was recommended by a mutual book friend, and I loved it. I'll admit, "why choose" romances aren't usually the first, second, or third genre of romance that I'll choose from. I'm not against multiples at all, but something more than 3 always makes me scratch my head. Thankfully, this book features a romance between three people, and it was written perfectly.
I love that we get to see multiple POVs as well! Maia is not necessarily looking for love, but she does seek affection. After her last poly relationship ended badly, she's not quite sure what kind of relationship she wants to seek out. Ermias and Lucianna are in a devoted marriage, but they've always given into their mutual desire to share. They've never been able to find that right fit, but are willing to try. When they each meet Maia, separately, there's clear sparks between them. Maia and Ermias seem to hit it off, and Maia and Lucianna also seem to have mutual attraction.
I like how this story progressed, how the romance built on more than just physical attraction, and how all the pieces seems to fall into place as if fate was just waiting for these three to find one another.
