Finding You This Christmas: A Sweet Off-Limits Holiday RomCom

Rate this book
A rookie football player, an interior designer, and a condo renovation that changes everything.

Romulus

Football brought me to Chicago.

But I'm still trying to find my place off the field.

Hiring an interior designer seemed simple…

until Luna walks in.

Bright, confident, and impossible to ignore.

She’s sunshine in heels, turning my condo—and maybe me—upside down.

I should keep my distance.

I should focus on the game…

But all I can think about is her.

Luna

I’m all about light, color, and second chances.

Especially when it comes to transforming spaces.

Designing Romulus Henderson’s condo should be just another project.

But when I meet him, all my rules start to blur.

He’s not the arrogant, untouchable athlete I expected.

He’s sweet, a little scattered, and far more genuine than he lets people see.

And somehow, that makes it harder to keep my heart out of the design plans.

Finding You This Christmas, an off-limits novella, is book 7 of the Letters to Mrs. Claus multi-author series—a kisses-only romantic comedy collection bursting with holiday cheer. Each story is linked through Mrs. Claus’s Operation Mistletoe Match, where she receives a letter from a meddling friend or family member about someone lonely, heartbroken, or closed off to love. With her timeless wisdom, Mrs. Claus pens a tailored message to the subject of the letter, offering an inspiring note that tackles their romantic roadblock. Packed with hilarious mishaps, flustered blushes, and courageous adventures as they chase their happily-ever-after in this no-spice, swoon-worthy series!

I received an ARC copy of this book from the author but wasn’t required to post a review. However, after reading it, I wanted to offer my honest, voluntary impression I had about it.

Hazel has tied this book into the one she wrote for the Christmas series last year which was entitled “Finding Me In the Storm” where she sent her best friend in her place to visit her brother and they fell in love.

This time it’s her turn but it takes some doing on the part of her client to break down her walls of not mixing pleasure with business as she is an interior designer and has agreed to take him on as a client much against her original determination not to because of what he does for a living and her past experience with someone like that.

However, her helpful assistant and her fluttery feelings are causing her to second guess her standing rule as they seem to connect on so many levels until she does something just before Christmas that makes her think she’s lost her chance forever. Then a letter from Mrs Claus arrives and a planned trip to see her brother and her best friend ends up with the last person she expected to see!

I really enjoyed this book and this entire series so far that I have read! These books are terrific for the upcoming holiday season which celebrates love as the greatest gift of all because of who we should be celebrating at this time but also in that in the spirit of love Mrs Claus receives letters asking her to help a particular person who is lonely or has given up on love completely! She writes that person a letter and perhaps it and opening up one person’s heart to the possibility makes all the difference!

I enthusiastically recommend this book and this series as ones I know you’ll enjoy reading! At this time of the year, finding love and acceptance is especially gratifying during this joyous time of the year!

Pick up this book today and while you’re at it consider the entire series because I have read every book up to and including this one and I can assure you that you’ll love each and every one of them! They will brighten your outlook as Christmas approaches!

This book is an installment in the Letters to Mrs. Claus series. I believe there are 12 books in the series and each book is written by a different author so each is a stand alone and not linked, other than by the letter to Mrs. Claus. I’ve really enjoyed how the letters sent to Mrs. Claus are read in the Prologue so you know immediately who the story is about even before getting to chapter 1.

This was a sweet story but I felt it was missing a little something. What, I don’t know. I didn’t really feel a whole lot of chemistry between Luna and Romulus. All of their interactions were business related except for the toffee and I find it weird she just decided to go decorate a tree in his house after finishing up the decorating project…..a week, weeks?….earlier.

I will say Tiffany was a bit too much for me. She’s a bratty 17 year old step sister who acted like she owned Romulus. In fact, she acted like an overbearing girlfriend instead of a stepsister. Almost like she was in love with Romulus and was trying to warn Luna away. Idk. I felt Romulus needed to set some boundaries with Tiffany and he never did.

This cute little story is about an interior designer who really didn't mean to fall for the handsome football player client. But he fell first and she fell harder, and now it's Christmas day...and there's just something magic about the Christmas season, right?

This book was sweet. Almost sugar-plum sweet. I'll admit, the Closing Scene Kiss caught me off guard and made me laugh, but it fit. The book was squeaky clean, with no major miscommunications (or at least none that seriously derailed anything too badly). No trauma, no super sad back stories...just two people who cross paths a few too many times and finally take the hint.

Cute little 1-2 hour read for the holidays!

FINDING YOU THIS CHRISTMAS
by Hazel Belle
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

An interior designer and rookie football player wholesome and clean romance. Add a little misunderstanding, tad bit of assumption, one bratty stepsister and a splash of Mrs. Claus to the mix and you have a Christmas meet cute romance. Rough patches and stumble blocks occur causing the two MCs to fall apart, but circumstances bring them back together.
To me, this was missing just a bit more pizzazz, but all in all it was a good read.

Such a wondeful story of 2 humans who where not looking for anything but found it all in each other. Romulus the football player who needed assistance getting his apartment looking like someone lived there. Luna the interior designer who gets hired to do the job. In the process and trying to keep things professional something was cooking between the two that we all know Mrs Claus already knew. They just needed a push to make sure they knew what was right in front of them♥︎

Christmas is my favorite holiday, and I tend to gravitate towards anything related to Christmas. I have tons of decorations for my tree to hang inside and outside our home and, of course, books! Our story is about Romulus and Luna. Romulus is a rookie football player who is desperately trying to find his place on the field and in his new surroundings. He hires Luna to decorate his new condo. Romulus wants it to be festive for the Christmas season.
Luna is an interior designer and doesn’t mix pleasure with work. She’s good at what she does and goes above and beyond what most designers would do. She has a way of listening to what her client wants and making it happen. Luna always does a little extra, it’s just part of her personality.
Luna’s brother, Nate writes a letter to Mrs. Claus explaining how Luna “accidentally” got him and her best friend, Elaina. Luna knew they’d be perfect for each other. Now, Nate wants Luna to find the love of her life and asks for some help from Mrs. Claus. Luna is always thinking about others and helping them, so he feels it’s time for her to get some help to bring some love into her life.
There are three things that Luna avoids in her life: “weak coffee, bad lighting, and football players.” Unfortunately, her new client is a football player. She has decided to just walk away if he is not easy to work with. She has a picture of jocks in her mind and it’s not a good one. When she arrives at his address, she’s amazed to find his building is stunning. She asks about meeting her meeting with Romulus Henderson and he has been asked to take her up and let her in his place since he’s running late. He’s also left a binder to give her. The binder is quite extensive with information about the condo. A very extensive floor plan, wish lists, colors, furniture style, etc. He seems to have the same taste as Luna. Unfortunately, this first impression isn’t going well, Romulus can’t make the meeting but is looking forward to her recommendations. Luna is not happy to hear this. She leaves and gets into the waiting car. Her brother owns and operates a car service.
Romulus has a stepsister that is very opinionated, and Luna assumes he’s dating someone much too young for himself. Talk about assumptions making someone embarrassed. Luna has plans ready for Romulus to approve so she can begin.
Now, there is some connection between the two of them, that neither of them knows what to do with. Luna explains she has a no dating relationship with clients. Does that stop the attraction? Not for a minute. This wonderfully written story is filled with drama, the unknown, attraction, and a few surprises. I loved everything about this story. I’m sure you will as well. Get your copy of Hazel Belle’s newest book, “Finding You for Christmas” today! You won’t be able to put it down!

⭐️⭐️⭐️️⭐️/ ️🌶️

Get ready for the next Letters to Mrs. Claus by Hazel Belle. Finding You this Christmas was a sweet, kisses only, holiday story that actually ties into Hazel’s book from last Christmas entitled Finding Me in the Storm, part of the Sweet Kisses Christmas series. Hazel gives her readers everything that they have come to love from her stories. Our MCs have wonderful chemistry, with the perfect amount of trying not to fall for each other mixed in.

Luna has been hired to decorate a condo for rookie quarterback Romulus. Luna is amazing at her job, always able to bring her clients' vision to life. Romulus wants his home to be festive and ready for Christmas. Luna’s brother is actually who writes the letter to Mrs. Claus asking to bring his sister the love of her life. He wants her to have what he has as Luna is always going above and beyond for people.

When Luna and Romulus first meet, Luna is expecting a not easy to work with jock. He ends up not being able to meet, but has left her a lot of information that she actually loves. Due to mistaken first impressions, missed connections, and assumptions gone wrong, these two have a lot of ground to make up for. But as their attraction grows, Luna is stuck between following her heart and following her professional rules.

Truly a heartwarming story that had me laughing, swooning, and smacking my forehead. It is well written, full of wonderful romance, and moments that will take your breath away. I loved the sibling love Luna and Nathan have, wanting each other to be happy. A great story, by a great author.

As always, review any author notes before reading.

Luna is an interior designer, and has been getting a lot of referrals from her friend’s sister. The latest is newly-pro football player, Romulus, who gets on her nerves by canceling their first meeting after she’s been waiting for half an hour.

Romulus is wrangling his teenaged sister, Tiffany, as well as trying to unpack and get his condo decorated. When he finally does meet up with Luna, he finds himself entranced, but she claims a strict no-fraternization policy with clients.

But he’s not going to be her client forever.

I get it, Luna had a bad experience with a football player, but it’s not until nearly the end of the book that we find out that experience was in early high school. Folks, let me tell you, the things you experience in high school should not determine the rest of your life. Your brains aren’t even fully formed at that point. So, will Luna get over it? A letter from Mrs. Claus is definitely in order.

A lot of things take place off the page, such as football games, but honestly, that’s fine. This isn’t billed as a sports romance in any way, so not having much football in it isn’t a deal breaker. I actually wanted to just grab Luna and ask “WHAT ARE YOU DOING????” half the time.

Poor Romulus. He’s the victim of more than one misunderstanding, and I blame Luna’s screen of “professionalism”. Yes, mixing business with pleasure can often go wrong, but she keeps up the screen even after he’s no longer her client.

Thankfully, per the letter intervention of Mrs. Claus, we get our happily ever after. Another sweet ending for Operation Mistletoe Match.

Another charming Christmas story in this series. You can’t help but love the characters. The H is a rookie football player who has just moved to Chicago. He is currently taking care of his teenage stepsister while his parents are on vacation. He loves her and will do anything for her including meeting her every whim. The h is a successful interior decorator who has been recommended to redo his recently purchased condo. He has some ideas on what he wants but doesn’t click with the h when he misses their first meeting due to his job. He does make their second meeting because he really wants her to do the decorating. Thus the planning and redecorating begins. Add to the mix one grumpy sister and problems develop because the h believes that she is his girlfriend. At one point she quits, but the H chases her down and they talk. The mixup is cleared up for the moment and their relationship actually develops, but rough times still occur and they break up. They go their separate ways but accidentally meet when they are out to eat on Christmas. The h leaves but the H purses her and they talk. They each confess their love and they end with a HEA. I really enjoyed reading this book and recommend it to all those who have a weakness for holiday stories. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Enjoy!

This one is another great addition to the Letters to Mrs Claus series. I absolutely love operation mistletoe match and this one hits it right in the feelings.
Romulus is a rookie football player with a great living space. But he really needs someone to come in and make it a home. That person is Luna, sunshine in heels. The two of them seem to hit it off but Luna has one rule that she doesn't like to break. No dating clients. But really rules don't usually stand a chance when you are face to face with Romulus's dimples. Luna does want to give him a chance, but something stands in her way. Will Mrs. Claus be able to get these two together?
This was a very sweet off-limits holiday RomCom. Luna is sunshine in heels and is unique in her own little way. Romulus is sweet but a little scattered far more genuine than he lets people see. Getting these two together was just wonderful to watch come alive in the pages. A few rough patches and a few stumbles later and you see how perfect these two are for each other.
Highly recommend reading this one if you enjoy a Christmas story that will definitely show you the magic of Christmas.

What a fun story and I really liked the football storyline. I wasn’t sure how things were going to play out especially when Luna showed up for her appointment with Romulus and he stood her up and then you see him show up just missing the appointment, with Tiffany. I’m glad Tiffany ended up being who she was and not someone he shouldn’t have been with. There’s definitely a connection between these two and as she’s putting ideas together for his condo updates, she finds that their decorating style is very similar. Romulus seems like a decent guy and what a small world when we find out they have more connections in common than you would think. I really liked how when she finished his condo and he was more than impressed but when she showed up with the Christmas tree surprise a comment was made and she left and didn’t attend any other events he had invited her to. We all know what happened next, just when she was second guessing everything her letter arrived from Mrs. Claus and definitely put things in perspective. When she headed to the cabin for the surprise for Nate who knew that she would also be in for a surprise by Romulus and his family showing up as well. They were finally able to talk and she told him why she isn’t a huge fan of football players but he changed her mind and I really liked how everything came together and especially with the way this book ended.

I loved this addition to the Letters to Mrs. Claus multi-author series. In this one, Nate Kingsley writes a letter to Mrs. Claus asking her help on behalf of his sister, Luna. Luna had been instrumental in setting him up with the woman he’s about to ask to marry him and he wants to get her to slow down and recognize that love for her might be closer than she realizes. She’s an interior designer and as the book opens she’s to meet with a possible new client, NFL rookie quarterback Romulus Henderson. A mutual friend had recommended her to him but unfortunately he’s running late for their first meeting and the reason happens to become a misunderstanding between Luna and himself. He quickly makes up for being late and hires her but that misunderstanding is still an issue and even though there’s attraction on both sides, she doesn’t date her clients nor have the time to. Can Mrs. Claus work her magic on this Operation Mistletoe Match?
This book has the perfect amount of conflict, attraction, flirting, and secondary engagements combined in its 100 pages to make it the perfect bedtime read. The book’s storyline is interesting, easily followed with realistic-sounding dialogue and interactions and the characters are likable and relatable.

Rules and good intentions get thrown out the window when Mrs. Claus has you on her radar. The super holiday matchmaker is at it again in this bite size nugget full of holiday cheer and romance.

Luna Kingsley is an interior designer who is serious in every area of her life. She will never get involved with an athlete, and punctuality, or lack thereof, is a deal breaker for her. Too bad for Luna that Mrs. Claus has other ideas.

Romulus Henderson is a pro football player in his rookie season, so there is strike one for him with Luna. Then he is late for his appointment with Luna, which she detests and refuses to wait. Strike two for him. He only has one more strike.

He does get a second meeting, but Luna will not make it easy for him. She is a little surprised to learn that he is not at all what she envisioned in that he is down to earth and easy to work with. Luna has walls around her heart, but you quickly see those walls crumbling down.

There were some witty moments, along with some definite misunderstandings, but most of all holiday magic and festive cheer abound in this sweet Christmas romance that will have you humming O Christmas Tree.

Thank you to the author for this ARC. I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This book was such a sweet and cozy holiday read. I’ve been loving the Letters to Mrs. Claus series. It had warmth, charm, and just the right amount of holiday magic.

The story follows Luna, a talented interior designer who’s very serious about her work and has one big rule: never date a client. That rule gets tested when she meets Romulus, a rookie football player who hires her to decorate his new condo. At first, Luna is not impressed he’s late to their first meeting, and she’s already wary of athletes because of her past. But Romulus turns out to be kind, thoughtful, and nothing like she expected.

I really liked how their relationship slowly developed. There were some funny moments, a few misunderstandings, and lots of sweet scenes. Luna tries so hard to keep things professional, but her heart has other plans. Romulus is just trying to do his best with his new career, his teenage stepsister, and now, his growing feelings for Luna.

The Christmas setting made everything feel extra special. I loved the little touches of holiday spirit throughout the book, and the letter from Mrs. Claus was such a cute surprise. It reminded me that sometimes love shows up when you least expect it and that’s what makes it so magical.

This was a cute story. Luna is angry that Romulus didn't show up for their first meeting, which was partly justified, and partly because she thinks that all football players arrogant jerks. When she finally does meet him, she realizes that he isn't as bad as she was expecting him to be, but is really hung up on her 'no dating clients' rule.
Tiffany was a rather strange character. She's his stepsister, and comes off at first as extremely overbearing and demanding and never pleased with anything Romulus does, but then you get the impression that she really does care about him. I thought he gave in to her whims a little too much, but he did seem to genuinely love her too.
I liked how Luna was willing to listen to explanations and change her mind when she was wrong. She jumps to the reasonable conclusion that Tiffany is Romulus's girlfriend, and actually storms out saying she quits when Tiffany finds fault with everything she plans, but then agrees to hear Romulus's explanation, and not quit when she finds out Tiffany is his sister.

I received an ARC of this book, but all opinions are my own.

This is a cute addition to the Letters to Mrs. Claus series. I instantly fell in love with Romulus and just wanted to give him a hug. The poor kid is like a lot of us when we are starting out as adults, trying our best to show everyone we belong and fumbling our way through it. It’s obvious that he loves his family because his step-sister is all of the teenage girl stereotypes rolled into one and he just rolls with it.

Luna is a professional at the top of her game. She has a great reputation as an interior designer and is referred by a friend to Romulus. She doesn’t date clients, but has to admit to herself that she likes Romulus, even if he is a football player. The minute he isn’t a client, she shoots her shot but gets cold feet when he mentions what she did for him is usually something he and his sister do together.

I was so glad that the two were able to reconnect when they happen to be at the same place for Christmas. I would love to see these two pop up in future books to see how this relationship plays out.

I received an ARC and this is a voluntary review.

Finding You This Christmas by Hazel Belle is a cozy, heartwarming holiday romance that blends festive charm with a slow-burn connection you’ll root for. Luna, an interior designer with a firm “no client” dating rule, never expected to be hired by Romulus, a football player whose charm and sincerity start to chip away at her carefully built walls. What begins as a professional collaboration quickly turns personal, full of coffee dates, laughter, and subtle moments that make you believe in second chances and holiday magic.

I loved the emotional warmth woven throughout this story. From Luna’s guarded vulnerability to Romulus’s determination to prove he’s nothing like her past. The Chicago setting, cozy seasonal details, and a surprise letter from Mrs. Claus make this story feel like the perfect holiday read. Sweet, clean, and full of heart, Finding You This Christmas reminds readers that love often finds us when we least expect it.

- Christmas romance
- Forbidden romance (client relationship)
- Mutual pining
- He falls first

I am absolutely loving this Letters to Mrs. Claus series. Each book is written by a different author and is completely standalone, but the sentiment is the same: open yourself to love.

This book focuses on interior designer Luna, who is taking on a new client, football rookie Romulus. Their initial "meeting" was derailed when Romulus is running late...and his ornery stepsister doesn't help matters!

Romulus is so intrigued by Luna, but she is clear that she has professional boundaries she will not cross.

After she has completed his decorations, she decides to give him a chance, but a series of miscommunications ends things before they begin!

Luna receives her letter from Mrs. Claus at just the right time, advising her to be receptive to finding love...

What a sweet story! Had me smiling as I read!.

Home renovation + football romance meet in this next sweet addition to the Letters to Mrs. Claus series... and what a cute addition it was! Romulus and Luna had a sweet chemistry between them, but he breaks all the rules that she has for herself--- like not dating clients. Throw in a sassy teenage sister to keep things interesting and there was a lot for these two to work through and I enjoyed watching them do so. It had just the right amount of Christmas cheer too! This is definitely a very quick read--- easily read in just one sitting, but it was the perfect length for the busy holiday season. I'm really enjoying this series as a whole and this was another really cute addition.

Finding You This Christmas is a closed-door romance with kisses only and no language. It is part of the Letters to Mrs. Claus series, a multi-author series of holiday novellas that can all be enjoyed as standalones.

Such a sweet Christmas read
A fun story of finding love when you aren’t looking. Luna is an interior decorator looking to build her business. When she gets a chance for a new client, she’s happy to present to him. But wait, he’s a football player and she has sworn off athletes since high school. Still it’s a job and she’s a professional so she proceeds. Romulus has recently been brough to Chicago to join the football team. His new condo needs help and he’s been told Luna is the best. But no matter what he does he seems to make a bad impression. Late? Yes. Bossy, entitled girlfriend (she’s really his sister)? Yes. Say the wrong thing? Yes. Still the pull towards Luna is real and she adds a calmness and clarity to his life that he needs. Still can anything proceed when everything keeps going wrong. A fun, quick read. I received an early copy and this is my honest review.

Mrs Claus has busy again . So much so it’s sending me dizzy but I’m entertained. Quarterback hopeful Romulus is in need of a makeover ,or should I say his apartment moreover . Luna is the gal to do it with her design company in fact and he thinks she’s swell and in clover as a matter of fact. There’s an underlying attraction between the two but what with misunderstandings and he being a client are just two issues. Pass the tissues ,it’s really not hard to see there’s chemistry . They’re wide open for all to see . Mrs Claus has ways and means and this Christmas time is going to be sublime and filled with beams and schemes to see them together even in the wintery weather . The holidays come good ,just as we know they would. Wonderfully inviting writing that draws us in,and carries us on their journey from beginning to end . Hazel Belle ,I loved this great love story of yours my friend . It’s awesomeness from the start and I love it no end.

Finding You This Christmas is a sweet, festive holiday romance that hits all the right notes for a quick escape.

What I enjoyed most was the wonderful interaction and chemistry between Romulus and Luna. Their back-and-forth was engaging, and their connection was the highlight of the story.

However, as a novella, it did feel choppy at times and moved quite fast. I understand the author was limited in length for this format, but I think the compelling premise—the rookie football player and the interior designer—and their charming relationship could have easily been expanded into a longer, more developed full-length novel. I would have loved to spend more time with them and see their story unfold at a slightly slower pace.

Overall, if you're looking for a quick, feel-good, closed-door holiday read with great characters, this is a charming pick!.

Finding You This Christmas is a cute short story bringing Christmas cheer your way. Beautiful characters with their different support strategy. Luna is so used to putting her whole being into creating beautiful spaces for people and doesn't allow herself to stop and find happiness for herself.  A contract with Romulus to create a beautiful space for himself opens a door that leads down the path of happiness. I like the support and friendship she has with her brother, her staff, and the people that cross her path. Romulus the football player learns that even his being present mattered on the team.
One character wanted to test my patience 😁 but overall it all worked out. This book is a reminder to step back, and just showing up is also important in life's journey as Romulus and Luna get their happily-ever-after.

This is a good addition to the letters to Mrs. Claus series. In this story we meet Luna who is an interior designer, and she was recommended to Romulus, who is a rookie pro football player. I loved it when Luna went to the first meeting at his condo, and he is running late. She had been waiting for half an hour when he called and cancelled. I like how she has is strong and confident in herself and leaves a message for him that if he was still interested in her work the next appointment would be at her office. I could totally envision Tiffany his teenage sister trying to take over and change the designs. It was a little different in this story as Luna didn’t get her letter from Mrs. Claus till about the halfway point in the story. I’m not saying any more as I don’t want to spoil the story. Just know there is a HEA. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

She has sworn off athletes.

Luna is and interior designer whose latest client is a football player on the local pro team. She swore to never get involved with another athlete, to band he is handsome, sweet, and just a little bit scattered at times. Romulus is new to Chicago, he wants his condo to be a comfortable home, so he hires Luna to do the interior design in his new home. While he should be focusing on his career and he can think about is Luna. These are wonderful and compelling characters that are instantly attracted to one another, but it takes a letter from Mrs. Claus and an unexpected reunion to make Luna realize that she wants to take a chance with Romulus. A quick read and kisses only Holiday romance that I think anyone will enjoy.

Thank you to the publisher and author for this ARC. Hazel Belle never fails to deliver a warm, feel-good Christmas read, and Finding You This Christmas is no exception.

Luna, a sharp, no-nonsense interior designer, gets thrown into a project with Romulus — the rising star quarterback of Chicago’s football scene. One tiny issue: Luna cannot stand athletes, especially football players. Romulus, however, is annoyingly charming, unexpectedly thoughtful, and very good at proving her wrong.

Throw in his chaos-gremlin step-sister, snow-covered city strolls, perfectly timed cups of coffee, and a heartfelt letter to Mrs. Claus… and you’ve got a cosy, funny, slightly chaotic, perfectly festive romance. Sweet, low-drama, and full of holiday magic — just what you want in a December read.

✨ Ideal for readers who love: grumpy-sunshine, forced proximity, and a dash of sports romance without the heavy play-by-play.

Not all will agree with me, but I found this Christmas romance to have a strong reverse grumpy/sunshine theme along with forced proximity. Romulus needed his new place decorated and hired Luna for the job. Maybe he needed more than decore to feel at home though. From the outset, Luna had an edge about her regarding him (for the why you have to read😉). He was a relatively laid back guy, especially for a pro athlete. There seemed to be no end to the hurdles he kept trying to maneuver. If the guy could only catch a lucky break.

The characters in this story were engaging and the storyline read easily. More than once I wanted to bop Luna on the head.🤷‍♀️ She was a stubborn spitfire! Romulus, he was a slow and steady constant throughout.

I received a gift copy of this book and voluntarily provided this review. Happy Reading Y'all 📚

Is a sweet off limits, Christmas romance with no cliffhanger.
Some of the lines I really like --- “The difference is…confidence. If you say it with enough conviction, no one will question you.” --- start by giving yourself permission to…just be. Even when you’re not actively doing something, being present matters. You’re still part of everything by showing up, even if it’s just as support. --- “You going to actually look my way this time, or are we running ghost routes again?” --- “Patience and discipline got you here. Wait for the right opening, just like the perfect play.” ---
What's Nate up to? What's Tiffany up to? These and other questions will all be answered.
I loved Luna and Romulus's story and I'm sure you will too. I've loved everyone of her books that I've read and I can't wait to read her next book.

Luna is an interior designer whose next job is to decorate a pro quarterbacks condo. When the first meeting is less than ideal, Luna blames the fact that he is a quarterback. She has dated a football player before and has vowed to never do it again.
Romulus however, can’t help being drawn to Luna. He tries to be more than a client to her but Luna continues tj keep her boundaries. Mostly, to protect her heart from being hurt. Luna does come to realize that not all football players are the same and that sometimes the risks are worth taking.
This was a fun holiday read where Hazel also ties in her full length novel, Finding me in the storm. You definitely do not have to have read that book before reading this one it was just fun to have a reappearance of some of the characters.

* I received an arc in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

MC: Luna Kingsley and Romulus Henderson, First Person Dual POV 4/5 stars

Luna is an Interior Designer, busy with building her own design company and Romulus is a backup quarterback, waiting for his chance to become starting quarterback. Luna had a bad relationship with an athlete in high school which causes her to be biased against Romulus form the start. Romulus is a sweetheart who is intrigued by Luna right away. Overall she needs to overcome her prejudice against athletes in order for the relationship to proceed.
This is a short story so We don't get a deep dive into their relationship; the relationship developing was more of a telling than being shown. Overall a sweet quick read for the holidays. A good addition to the LMC series.

Related books: This is Book 7 in the Letters to Mrs. Claus series

I read an ARC copy of the book and this is my honest review.
