For a fact-finding mission, the excursion north to the demons’ isle has left Shiro with considerably more questions than answers. Who is the mysterious merchant named Jilvared? Why had he been so eager to get Celes to join his side? A hume who can enslave powerful demons and order around a legendary dragon isn’t to be taken lightly! And what about the Setting Sun, the merchant guild he belongs to? After exchanging a few terse words with Jilvared, Shiro now knows the guild’s main goal is to assassinate the demon king. But to what end? Whatever the case, he has to put a stop to the guild’s plans, so he enlists Ney—the guildmaster of the Fairy’s Blessing branch in Ninoritch—to help him in his endeavors to find out more about the elusive Setting Sun. After agreeing to go to the royal capital to do some digging, they make preparations to set off, but before they leave town, a few of Shiro’s usual crew unexpectedly fall ill. Can he find out what’s wrong with them in time?

Read it!

If you have been a fan of isekai anime and manga you must read this series. I started it thinking I need to deepen my dive into the genre but also knowing that the novel version just has more story. Too often a novel drops plot elements or even entire character arcs due to length and what not. (Whenever possible read the novelization)
Now this series I like because it is genuinely wholesome, the characters hold my interest and I am very eager for the next installment. This will get too long so suffice to say, like isekai? Believe the MC doesn't need to bed every female character he encounters? Like victories which don't require taking lives? READ THIS SERIES

Enjoyed it well enough for what it is: a nice isekai story about a young man from Japan making a living in a fantasy world as a merchant of modern day Japanese goods. In this case, it continues what happened in volume 10 in that it leaves two of his companions cursed and the only cure can be found among high elves. The problem is that nobody knows where those elves live, so it is time to look around in the wider world for a cure or his friends will die. What follows is a decent story that fitted the series well enough, entertaining characters, only a little bit of the usual anime-like cringe and a decent if standard plot. I only say a little bit of cringe, but as always the bunny girl from the adventurer's guild is bad on so many levels I am glad she only shows up shortly. Not my kind of humor so to say. So all in all, a good addition to the series even if it ended at a cliff hanger so if you really dislike that you might want to wait until they release volume 12 (unless you read 11 after said publishing date obviously).
