This is a new series, Lone Star Security, that includes 17 authors with their own story that will have you fanning yourself from all the HEAT coming your way!! Logan's book is the first one in the series and I was lassoed from the start and no way I was getting separated from my kindle until I finished!!
You will find yourself in Valor Springs, Texas where small town living is thriving and a second chance at love resurfaces when Nash Hawthorne and Delaney Coleman, two childhood friends who's relationship faded before it had a chance to flourish, find themselves in a fake relationship while facing an unknown danger out to destroy Coleman ranch.
The tinder really sparks and ignites for Nash and Delaney and brings the heat!! If you are a fan (as I am) of small town, close proximity, grumpy/sunshine, suspense, slow burn, second chance romances then this book is for you!
I'm definitely recommend this one and I'm excited to see what the other authors bring to this series!

Who doesnt love a second chance romance in a small town.
Especially when the grumpy boy you fell in love with at 12 is still everything you want.
Nash and Delaney were perfect.
Logan has great talent for writing about the ex military hero turned bodyguard swooping in with a fake dating cover and eventually getting the girl. Or in Nash's case, getting back the love of his life.
This slow burn read had a sprinkling of suspense and mystery, enough to keep you interested.
Loved the character development with these two and the chemistry was spot on as they never did really get over each other.
Great story and looking forward to what comes next for the Hawthorn boys and for the new Charlie team of Maddox security.
Looks like we are going to see a whole lot more of Nash. ❣️

A great start to a new series. I was wrangled right from the beginning! I loved the chemistry between Delaney and Nash and so happy they had the support and push that was necessary for this love! The spice and suspense was perfection. I really enjoyed this one!

Logan did a phenomenal job as always allowing us to be a part of Nash and Delaney’s story.. This was a story that takes you on an emotional ride and has you feeling all the emotions of the characters as if they come alive on the pages. This book is full of love, hope, dreams, and some witty banter from Nash’s brothers. This is a story that you won’t want to put down.
Nash and Delaney started as childhood sweethearts that grew apart when their worlds started to change as they got older. They both chose different paths than planned and now they have come back to Valor Springs changed. Now Nash must protect the woman that is no longer the girl that he once wanted to share a first kiss. Is what was once a childhood promise worth fighting for while they try to keep Delaney’s family ranch from being ruined. The chemistry between Nash and Delaney was there from the first time they saw each other after all those years.

Nash Hawthorne’s demons were shaped by what he saw in combat, and the only thing that kept him going was the memory of Delaney Coleman, the girl he left behind. His don’t mess with what's mine attitude accentuates his protective demeanor. He has a heart of gold under a tough guy persona.
Delaney Coleman, a rancher’s daughter, wanted a different life than what was offered in Valor Springs, Texas. So she left for the city. Even though she left, her family and it’s farm are still home to her and she will fight to keep her family’s legacy.
The chemistry between Nash and Delaney is intense even when they are trying to fight it for the greater good. The heartbreak from the past mixes with this undeniable love they have for each other which creates an emotional ying-yang effect that Logan writes so perfectly.

There is just something about Logan Chance and his bodyguards that are just wow. We have the Lone Star Security and boy there are not your usualy cowboys. The series starts with Nash Hawthorne and well the girl he let go away. Valor Springs is a small town, where everybody knows everybody and one thing for sure Nash and Delaney Coleman are meant for each other. Years ago they made a promise but thing about Nash is that he has a good heart. He would do anything or her even pretending to her boyfriend while his heart is breaking. Seeing her again after all these years shows him how much she means to him. Not only are they reconnecting but Logan Chance has someone wanting to ruin her family. Someone is determined to cause trouble and knowing Nash is the one that can protect her well is making her want him more. This is one series that is full of action, romance and yes a new set of bodyguards that will make you not just swoon but fall for them.

Nash and Delaney have always belonged together, but the timing was never right. This time brings them together as a mission to save the ranch, but their chemistry cannot be ignored any longer...and once they kiss...the only option is forever.
Nash may have come back from the military a broken man, but over the last few years he has begun to paste himself back together and to heal, spending time with Delaney shows him he will never fully heal until he forgives himself for leaving and until he is honest with Delaney about his feelings. I really like both Nash and Delaney, but I love them together. They have both made mistakes, they have both run, left town and tried to convince themselves they hate the other...but it was never hate. It was always love and it is awesome to see them finally together and embracing a future. I look forward to more from the rest of the Hawthorne brothers and to them finally finding out the truth....

Wrangling With The Cowboy Bodyguard by Logan Chance is the first title in the new multi author series A Lone Star Security Romance and I wasn't disappointed.
As a bit of a slow burn romance the plot and storyline is emotive and engaging especially with the main characters of Nash, the ex military man now bodyguard and, Delaney, a local woman returned from the city, are forced to work together via a fake relationship to save her family's ranch.
The forced proximity of the fake relationship is complicated further by their past having been childhood friends and later, as circumstances having never aligned for their strong feelings for one another to ever find an outlet.
The story was well written and you feel invested in a HEA outcome for them whilst they initially fight the old attraction and feelings but inevitably spice and sizzling chemistry ensue. Overall an entertaining read.

Received as an ARC and leaving my honest review voluntarily. The suspense in this story is on the lighter side and the 'bad guy' was pretty easy to guess but it still had me hooked wanting to read how it all plays out.
For me, the main pull and heart of the story is the second chance at love between Nash Hawthorne and Delaney Coleman, childhood friends who have always been in love with each other but life got in the way and pulled them apart. As they rediscover their love for each other and what forever means if you're brave enough to fight for it, you can't help but root for them. The character and relationship development was heart tugging, real, steamy and sweet, and I didn't want to stop reading when I reached the end.

Second chance love with Nash and Delaney -- initially almost high school sweethearts, but unfortunately circumstances take them away from each other before they can determine what their future together will be. Their second chance comes about as Delaney's parents' ranch is being sabotaged. Nash acts as her bodyguard/protector as he tries to determine who/what/why someone is targeting the ranch. We have suspense, danger, angst, kidnapping, and intrigue as they work through their relationship status and how to move forward. In the beginning of the story, we find out that Nash's father disappears, without a trace and at the end of the story, he gets a call that perhaps his father is still alive. We have to see what happens in the next story. Looking forward to finding out.

This had me eagerly turning pages from the first moments of young laughter in summer when pinky promises are made, to a reunion filled with tension, memories and thoughts of what could have been.
Delaney and Nash were soulmates and their story is realistic and relatable. With several threads of suspense, intrigue and more than one mystery, it kept me captivated.

What an amazing start to a new series!! I loved everything about this second chance romance. Nash and Delaney make it so easy. They were best friends and loved each other when they were young. Unfortunately circumstances happened and they were not able to be together. Now fast forward and Delaney’s family ranch is being threatened and she comes home. They are both rushed in to a pretend romance so Nash can stay at the farm without looking suspicious. Well the pretend became real very quickly. They both are very much in love with each other.
It’s an amazing story filled with suspense and the incredible lone star security men that along with Nash come in and save Delaney and her ranch.
All of it was sensational and I can’t wait for the next book!!!
