I was excited to dive into this story that introduces the next Hawthorne brother, Mack. The series, A Cupid City Security Romance, includes 10 books by 10 different authors and Logan Chance brings the heat, danger and heart to the runway stage!
The book starts off with a confetti bang that has glitz and danger with a single focus on Indigo, a supermodel with a stalker that is escalating. Mack's mission is to be her bodyguard/fake boyfriend to locate and neutralize the threats. Mack is a follow protocol, grumpy, protective alpha and Indigo is feisty, sassy, and driven to break the rules. They find themselves in close proximity with one bed and the tension simmers between them as they circle each other while the stalker draws closer.
A twist at the end involving the Hawthorne family adds another element that has me intrigued for the next story and where the mystery will lead them.
I really enjoyed this entertaining quick read that pulls you in from the start, a well written storyline, action, intrigue, instant attraction with hot sexy encounters and HEA!

Confetti and shrapnel. 🎊😨
This is the story of Mack Hawthorne who is one of seven brothers. So far each of the brothers has had their stories told as parts of entirely separate series. The eldest brother, Nash Hawthorne begins the saga in Wrangling With The Bodyguard as part of Lone Star Security Romance series. Next up is Crewes Hawthorne in Guardian On Base (my personal favorite so far) which is part of the Hearts on Base series. This book is Mack Hawthorne’s story and it is part of the Cupid City Security Romance series.
This was a good, fun Valentines themed romantic comedy with some action and suspense. In the end, Indigo (love the name Indigo Lyric) and Mack only get a HFN (happy for now) ending 🙁 as the underlying cliffhanger from the previous books continues. This was a quick read, and I can’t wait for the next Hawthorne brother’s story.

Logan Chance has delivered a well written suspenseful action filled spicy romance with some cute banter, that just may deliver a few twists along the way. I loved this story from the very first word. I didn’t want to put it down.
Mack thought he took an easy job of protecting supermodel Indigo when she comes to Cupid City to model, but finds out it is a little more complicated when petals begin to fly. As he protects her the lines start getting blurred and they find that Cupid City just might be their downfall..Rules are made to be broken! Grab your favorite Valentine candy and enjoy reading their story. You will fall in love with Mack and Indigo along the way. You won’t be disappointed.
I would recommend you don't wait and read this one today!

This was a really fast paced bodyguard/fake boyfriend novella that kept you guessing. Mack was the professional, protocol following bodyguard tasked with keeping lingerie model Indigo safe from an escalating stalker. She pushed all his buttons in the best way and they quickly fell for each other. The plot kept me guessing who was the stalker and who all was connected until the very end. Very interested to find out what his dad did though to have his mom reacting like that at the end. There were some plot holes and the story seemed a bit disjointed in parts which left me a bit confused. I would have also liked to see what happened between the sisters after the whole incident. No cheating or OM/OW drama, dual POV, HFN with an ongoing plot line and an epilogue 3 days after the big incident occurred. Can’t wait to see the rest of his brothers fall and to see what happened with their dad!

Logan Chance gave us the best new series right before Valentine’s Day and it is placed in the most perfect city for love, Cupid City. This book gives us Mack Hawthorne (yep, one of those Hawthorne brothers - the ones searching for their long-lost father) and Indigo, a supermodel who needs to get back on her feet. She needs the protection of a specialist when her stalker gets a little too close and she cannot put off her job in Cupid City. The fireworks between these two last well past the city and the job and even the prospect of distance. This is definitely a book you will want to read to bring in a little bit of those holiday vibes into your life while still have a Logan Chance romance of a book.

It’s time to meet yet another Hawthorne brother! It’s Mack’s turn to take the spotlight, he’s ex military and now works as a bodyguard for a private firm and has been assigned to protect supermodel Indigo Lyric. Indigo is about to do one of her biggest shows but now has a stalker that’s getting too close. Of course Mack try’s to remain professional, it’s his job, but a little forced proximity to a supermodel? Well it’s all gonna go awry right? A super steam short read as another Hawthorne gets bitten by that love bug!

Mack and Indigo found Cupids arrow and hit me straight in the heart! Their chemistry was off of the charts!!
Mack is one of the Hawthorne Brothers that you may have come across a couple of Logan's other books. Indigo is a stunning supermodel with a Stalker! Mack is her sharp-eyed bodyguard. They are combustible from their first meeting and the chemistry soon follows. This book has several of my go-to reads - instalove with the right amount of spice, that includes intensity and intrigue, that is a quick read but doesn't feel short or that you are missing anything, it is the perfect book for when you just have time for a quick escape!!

A short but fun read!
Indigo is feeling helpless when a series of stalker acts cause her to have to use a bodyguard for her comeback show in Cupid Cory! She expects this to be difficult to deal with but not in the extremely distracting way that Mack handles things. Could there be something to the rumours about this town and who is trying to hurt her.
Loved this one! Mack and Indigo were scorching from the get go and did not let up.
This book is part of a series but can be read as a standalone you will just miss the backstory to the brothers!

Another Hawthorne Brother (all different series) comes to use in this fun valentines inspired series called A Cupid City Security Romance. This series includes 10 books by 10 different authors. Logan shows up this this short read full of wit and sass wrapped in heart shaped wrappers. Both characters are strong but sweet and they meld together so well! Loved every minute of it. I love that Logan can seamlessly intertwine his worlds with out leaving you hanging if you just read one of the. Aries. Buttttt if your anything like me it will have you diving int every single series to get every piece of Hawthorne you can get

I was sucked into this story from the start and it was a quick read but didn't lack anything. Sassy supermodel, grumpy bodyguard and lots of mystery and action. Mack is the next Hawthorne brother that we meet and this grumpy, dirty talking bodyguard is my favourite to date. Indigo is the supermodel he is tasked with protecting from an unknown threat, their story is fast paced, steamy and so good. And that unexpected twist at the end, I cannot wait to read the next book to see what happens while the brothers search to find their missing father. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book for my honest opinion.

This wasn’t great. Indigo started out ok. She seemed serious about the danger she was in and she was going to listen to her bodyguard, but it didn’t take very long for her to become bratty and annoying. There’s a paragraph where she asks the MMC about his brothers and he tells their names and their roles in the organization, and then it’s repeated a short time later, almost Word for Word when she again asks him about his brothers. There’s also a scene later that describes four people in a warehouse, but in the next chapter there are five people. It just felt rushed to me. I didn’t like the sex scenes either. Something about the way they were worded came off cringy.

I’m loving these quickies with the Hawthorne brothers!
Indigo is confident, stylish, and WAY more grounded than people expect, while Mack is the ultimate grumpy protector with a soft center he tries very hard to hide. Their chemistry sparks from the first scene and only gets hotter as the danger ramps up.
I loved the mix of suspense, fake-dating chaos, and sweet rom-com moments woven together. If you like bodyguard romances with banter, tension, and a guaranteed HEA, this one absolutely delivers. 💥💕

Great for a short pass the time
Do you have like a two hour layover, this is the perfect read the whole thing in one sitting.
We are meeting brother no. 3 of the Hawthorne 's and his love (at first site lol) for the model Indigo who needs a bodyguard as she is being stalked. Two days of dirty banter and these two are done for.
There is drama with this and the whodunnit aspect that Logan has been using in these books. We also get a sneak peek into what is happening with the mission on finding their dad.

I loved this story - a relatively short read that had me hooked from the get go.
Full of action and suspense - just who is out to get Indigo?
Their attraction is immediate and wow the chemistry between the headstrong Indigo and stoic Mack burned up the pages! A race to catch the bad guys leads to a very satisfying and emotional HEA.
The question remains though - will we discover the mystery surrounding Mack's father?
Can't wait to read Sin's book to see where that leads.

This is a great story to read for Valentine’s Day. This is Mack’s story & he doesn’t do complications and follows the rules he’s set for himself to the line. However he doesn’t expect someone like Indigo to come into his life.
This is a romantic suspense. Both trying to keep things professional and things go well until the threat to Indigo gets closer and more personal. Circumstances bring them together and they just might make it if he can keep her alive, and if she feels the same way he does. I enjoyed this book and am looking forward to the next one!

This is a fast paced story that can be devour on a quiet afternoon. I adored Mack from the very start. He’s the grumpy, professional bodyguard that you wouldn’t second guess to protect you at any cost. This story is filled with lust, mystery and action. A HEA with a taste into the lives of his brothers and what the future holds for them as a team as well as individuals. Great valentines themed book that can be enjoyed anytime of the year.
