Sinclair “Sin” Hawthorne doesn’t do feelings. He does missions, muscle, and making sure the people under his protection live long enough to annoy him tomorrow.
After one too many close calls overseas, Sin takes a “quiet” stateside assignment with the Maddox BRAVO protect a high-profile woman who’s become a walking magnet for trouble. The plan is simple—keep her safe, keep it professional, keep his heart out of it.
Then he meets her.
She’s sunshine with a smart mouth, chaotic competence, and a talent for turning Sin’s perfectly controlled life into a romcom disaster with great hair. She’s also not thrilled about having a six-foot-something human shield following her around like a grumpy shadow.
When an escalating threat forces them into a secluded safe house, Sin goes into full lockdown mode. One location. One security detail. Too many stolen glances. And way too much chemistry for a man who thinks “emotional vulnerability” is a tactical error.
But the closer danger creeps, the harder it becomes for Sin to pretend this is just a job.
Because protecting her body is easy.
Protecting his heart? That might be the mission that takes him out.

Sin is contacted while with his brothers searching for his, supposedly, dead father. Rowan, an investigative journalist, has received threats and now she's been run off the road due to the story she's researching. Her mother wants the best bodyguard on the job, and will pay. The moment Sin sees her at the airport he's attracted to her but needs to keep his eye on the ball and concentrate on the mission, but as time progresses it gets harder and harder not helped by the fact that there's an electricty between them. Can he protect her without losing his mind and heart? I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Another great romantic suspense from Logan, with a massive twist. When's the next one?!
I’ve read a few of the hawthorne brothers books. The only thing I hated was they’re in different collections. The book that I believe starts before this is Operation Bombshell. Their father has been gone since they were young. Possibly dead. But the guys kept looking into it and finally found a lead suggesting otherwise. Their mom doesn’t want them to go but they have to know what happened. Just as they’re about to head out to do some recon Sin gets a phone call from Rowan’s mom. She needs sin to immediately go protect her daughter. Rowan is an investigative journalist who now has a target on her back and has had a few close calls. The chemistry between the two was fantastic and I loved how much Sin tried to keep it professional. I just love these protector romances!!
Rescued By The SEAL by Logan Chance is one of those reads that pulls you in with the action but keeps you there for the tension, and not just the life-or-death kind.
Right from the start, there’s this constant undercurrent of restraint. Sin is very much the “locked down, no feelings, strictly business” type, and you can feel how tightly wound he is in every interaction. He’s controlled in a way that almost feels suffocating at times, like he’s holding the entire world at arm’s length just to stay functional. And then she walks in and completely disrupts that balance without even trying.
Their dynamic is honestly the best part of this book. She brings this lighter, chaotic energy that doesn’t cancel out the danger around them; it just makes it sharper. The banter feels natural, not forced, and there’s this steady build from irritation to curiosity to something much harder for him to ignore. It’s not instant, and that’s what makes it work. Every look, every small shift in how he reacts to her starts to matter.
What I really liked is how the tension isn’t just physical. It’s layered into everything, proximity, danger, unspoken rules, and the fact that he absolutely should not be crossing that line. There’s a constant push between what he’s trained to do and what he’s starting to feel, and that internal conflict adds a lot of weight to their connection.
The safe house setting amplifies all of that. It creates this closed-off, almost pressure-cooker atmosphere where there’s nowhere to escape, not the threat outside and definitely not each other. The quiet moments hit just as hard as the high-stakes ones, especially when the walls start to come down in subtle ways.
And when things shift? You feel it. That controlled, disciplined edge he holds onto so tightly starts to crack, and it changes the entire tone of the story. It’s not just about protection anymore; it becomes personal in a way that raises the emotional stakes alongside the external danger.
Overall, this is one of those romances that balances suspense and connection really well. If you’re into grumpy, hyper-competent protectors, sunshine heroines who don’t back down, and that slow build where tension simmers before it snaps, this one definitely delivers.
As always be mindful of any trigger warnings, what I like you may not. Happy Reading! ✨📚
This book had everything—action, tension, humor, and a romance that sneaks up on you in the best way.
Sinclair “Sin” Hawthorne is the definition of controlled. He doesn’t do emotions, doesn’t do attachments—just missions and protection. So when he’s assigned to guard Rowan Sands, he treats it like any other job.
Except Rowan is nothing like anything he’s prepared for.
She’s bold, sarcastic, and completely unimpressed by his grumpy, no-nonsense attitude. Honestly, their banter alone makes this story worth reading. Rowan pushes every single one of Sin’s buttons—and watching him try (and fail) to stay unaffected is so entertaining.
But underneath the humor, there’s real tension.
Rowan’s life is in danger, and the threats against her keep escalating, pulling them deeper into something much bigger than either of them expected. The suspense element keeps the story moving fast, and there’s always that edge of “what’s going to happen next?”
And then there’s the forced proximity.
When they’re pushed into a safe house together, everything shifts. The walls Sin has built start cracking, and suddenly this mission isn’t just about keeping her alive—it’s about something a lot more personal.
What I loved most is watching Sin fall.
Slowly at first… then all at once.
The man who swore off feelings starts realizing that protecting Rowan isn’t enough—he needs her safe. Needs her with him. And that moment when he finally admits it? So satisfying.
Rowan holds her own the entire time, too. She’s not just someone being protected—she’s smart, determined, and willing to face the danger head-on, even when it terrifies her.
And the ending? It definitely leaves you wanting more. There’s resolution, but also just enough left open to pull you straight into the next book.
If you love:
grumpy SEAL protector × sassy heroine forced proximity / safe house tension high-stakes suspense with action strong banter and chemistry protective hero who falls hard
this one is a must-read.
❤️ It’s fast-paced, emotional, and addictive—a story where the mission was supposed to be simple… until falling in love became the most dangerous part of all.

4.5 Stars Rescued by the Seal is the 1st book in the multi-author Tidehaven SEAL Romance series. In this book, the series focuses on Sinclair “Sin” Hawthorne and Rowan Sands story. Another Hawthorne brother novella that continues from Operation Bombshell, Chance gives their journey from a dual perspective. While dealing with a family matter, Sin gets a call for a detail that he can’t pass up. It will provide the much needed resources to continue the search for his presumed dead father. Rowan’s mom calls in a security detail when her latest story lands her in the crosshairs of unsavory people. She is a dedicated journalist that will go the distance to get to the root of the story; however, this time she has ruffled some feathers in a big corporation that wants to silence her. Rowan’s life is thrown into a tailspin when she meets her protective detail. He is a tall, brawny SEAL hero in real-life that sets her body ablaze. Will she be able to resist their chemistry? When Sin sets eyes on his new asset, he has to keep it strictly professional; however, his body and mind have much more in mind for her. Will he be able to just protect her without crossing the line? Chance gives his readers another quick paced forced proximity off limits romance that leaves the reader wanting more. Although this one ends on a cliffhanger, you will want to pick it up and devour it. I received an ARC and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Grumpy vs. Sunshine Forced proximity Strong Banter & Steamy Chemistry Bodyguard Romance Romantic Suspense Touch Her and Die
Loving the Tidehaven Seal Romance series. Logan Chance does not hold back as he gives us Sinclaire Hawthorne and Rowan Sands story. Full of angst with a sassy MFC, Rowan that has a comeback for anything that is said by Sin, she presses all his buttons. He doesn't do feelings, especially doesn't smile or laugh at her quirky comebacks....until he does. It is such a rush to watch the hardcore protector as he falls for his high profile principle! Something he vowed he never would do! And the principle also feels the tension and chemistry that runs strong between them. Feelings blur the lines feelings and discipline and as the story evolves and they find out who is behind the attempts on Rowan's life, Rowan demands Sin take her back to where it all began. Her office! Sin agrees, but would he have been so agreeable if they were not sleeping together? That is the question? As the enemy closes in, Sin is left in the dust as Rowan is taken from him. The fire in him lights up and Sin needs to get her back. He realises he love her!! How did that happen? and so quickly too! It's lucky he has Cal from Salt and Steel Security on speed dial, as he gets the backup he needs. But does he get to Rowan before it is too late. As with all these stories, the guy gets the girl, then flies off with his brothers on the hunt for his missing father. So with an ending that is a HFN for Sin and Rowan he leaves her to help his brothers in their search for their missing father..........I need the next book desperately.....Her Grumpy Protector, Bank's and Anniston Well's story.
Rescued by the SEAL by Logan Chance is a standout addition to the Tidehaven SEAL Romance multi-author series, offering readers a thrilling blend of action, humor, and heartfelt emotion. The story centers on Sinclair "Sin" Hawthorne, a hardened SEAL more comfortable with missions than feelings. When Sin is assigned to protect a high-profile journalist known for attracting trouble, he expects a routine job—never imagining how quickly his world will be turned upside down.
Rowan is a breath of fresh air: witty, competent, and full of chaotic energy. Her lively personality and smart mouth create a delightful contrast to Sin's stoic demeanor. Her witty banter and chemistry with Sin are absolutely irresistible. Forced into close quarters by escalating danger, the pair's interactions become increasingly engaging, blending suspenseful moments with genuine humor and vulnerability. The romance feels authentic, and the characters' growth is both compelling and believable.
Logan Chance's writing shines with its vivid character development and ability to balance action with emotion. The relationship between Sin and Rowan is dynamic and real, making it easy for readers to root for them. The palpable chemistry and authentic emotions elevate the story, making Rescued by the SEAL a highly recommended read for fans of romantic suspense, contemporary romance and military heroes. If you're looking for a book that delivers both adrenaline and heart, this is a must-add to your reading list.

Rescued By The SEAL by Logan Chance is part of the multi author series A Tidehaven SEAL Romance and was a great read. As a protector, forced proximity, bodyguard, suspense romance it is ideal for a couple of hours of escape especially with a plot and storyline that includes some action, suspense and drama that will get you hooked quickly. This story follows 'Sin' Sinclair Hawthorne, one of the seven Hawthorne brothers, all getting a story of their own, but are collectively working together on the case of their presumed dead father. Sin is contracted to protect investigative journalist Rowan Sands who is all sunshine with a smart mouth and she is quickly in danger of turning Sin's controlled life upside down. This coupled with the fact that she is less than happy with the grumpy alpha protector forced upon her, the sparks between them are instant. Forced proximity in the shape of a safe house whilst waiting for news on the threat to Rowan magnifies their sizzling chemistry but Sin tries to resist crossing the professional line so as not to put the mission or Rowan in danger. The steamy and spicy moments, the witty to-and-fro between Sin and Rowan, as well as the intrigue of the story Rowan was investigating and the progress the Hawthorne brothers are making chasing down leads about their father had me turning the pages right through to the very end see how their HEA comes about.

This is the first time reading this author, and I’ve found a new favorite. This book starts the Tidehaven Seal series about a group of brothers, who while searching for their missing father start undigging all types of corruption. Each brother has their own talent, but this one centers on Sinclair and his new mission, a journalist, Rowan, whose life is being threatened for a story she dug a bit too deep on. Taking on this mission helps their mission of finding their father, as Rowan’s mother Elena has deep connections and resources to help them. So Sin takes the job, only to find that Rowan’s story may intertwine with their father. And she’s getting harder to resist, even for the man who doesn’t do emotions.
This is an action packed book, with humor – a lot of great banter between the brothers – romance, hot sex scenes and a very intricate suspense storyline. The overall arc that seems to be what will run within these books is still going on, but this book takes out a chunk of the mystery with Sin and Rowan. There is a cliffhanger on this, which is never something I like. This book is in a series of Tidehaven Seals book series with several authors penning different stories within this world and I may read some others, but I’m committed to reading about this author’s group in the future.
It’s been a while since I last read a book by this author, and I can really see how much the writing has improved. The relationships no longer feel superficial — they’re deeper, more emotional, and better developed.
Sin is assigned by his principal to protect Rowan, the principal’s daughter. Rowan is an investigative journalist who has been targeted by a series of suspicious “accidents” connected to her upcoming article. Sin initially thinks it’s just a simple job that will help fund his family’s mission, so he accepts it without hesitation. But, as expected, nothing is ever that simple. Even his family teases him about falling in love with Rowan, though he believes that’s impossible… if only he knew.
The suspense is present from beginning to end. At times, though, the pacing feels a little slow because there are multiple mysteries happening at once. The writing can also be confusing for readers unfamiliar with military jargon (or for non-native English speakers). Even by the end, I still didn’t fully understand Rowan’s mother’s role. Is she someone powerful in the military? A political figure? Some situations raised more questions than answers.
Also, just a heads-up: this book ends on a cliffhanger.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
This book had everything—action, tension, humor, and a romance that sneaks up on you in the best way. Sinclair “Sin” Hawthorne is controlled, grumpy, and strictly mission-focused… until he’s assigned to protect Rowan. She’s bold, sarcastic, chaotic in the best way, and completely unimpressed by his tough-guy routine. Their banter alone is worth the price of admission.
The suspense keeps the pages flying, with escalating threats that make the forced-proximity safe house scenes even more intense. Watching Sin fall—slowly, stubbornly, and then all at once—was ridiculously satisfying. The man who doesn’t “do feelings” realizing he doesn’t just want to protect Rowan but needs her? Perfection.
Rowan holds her own every step of the way. She’s smart, brave, and more than capable, which makes their chemistry feel authentic and earned. Logan Chance balances adrenaline and heart beautifully, delivering a story that’s thrilling, emotional, and swoony in equal measure.
If you love military heroes, sharp banter, and romantic suspense with real depth, this is a must-read. 5 stars without hesitation.
Sinclair “Sin” is set to go on a mission with his Hawthorn brothers to find their missing father when a very lucrative contract interferes. One that will help fund their search for their father and provide the brothers with contacts they wouldn’t have access on their own. So he waves goodbye on the tarmac and heads off to pick up a journalist and daughter of his employer. Rowan has been working on a story for a long time. One that is starting to rub the wrong people the wrong way and it’s getting noticed. Noticed to the point that someone has tried to run her off the road and has started making threats. Sin takes Rowan and places her under his protection. But the line between a job and something more is quickly becoming blurred and soon Sin is helping Rowan find the ones behind her situation. I really enjoyed Logan Chance’s book within the new A Tidehaven Seal series. All written by separate writers. I’m a Logan Chance fan and this chapter in this side job does not disappoint and I highly recommend it. I’ll be looking for the next book in this series. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Independent reviewer for BookSirens, I was gifted my copy of this book.
I've read a few of Mr Chance's books, based around Maddox Security and it's spin-offs. This mentions Maddox, but they don't take part. From reading other reviews (after I'd read this!) Sin's brothers have books scattered around other series by Chance. I've not read those.
And I'm gonna honest, cos book feelings are important, and it's my review so I can be.
I'm getting a little. . . not bored. . . but stagnant. . .maybe . . with these books. They all run the same-ish plot line with minor variances to make them different but the basis are much the same.
AND
This particular book ends on a cliffhanger and NOT a HEA!
What I would like to see, is a book where the female lead is the security person and the male lead is the one who needs protecting. There have to be female protection specialists out there! Write one, Mr Chance, please!
I think I might not follow this series. I will stick with the ones I've liked. I'm still waiting for a 5 star read, though!
Rowen and Sinclair’s story is a fantastic read. From start to finish, their story is gripping and mixed with the perfect amount of desire. Rowen Sands is a reporter who wants the truth. The problem, the truth, is dangerous. And the solution could be even more dangerous for her heart. Not only is she smart and beautiful, she has this sassiness to her that I just adore. Sinclair Hawthorne is no stranger when it comes to precarious situations. As a former SEAL, he knows the rules. Don’t get emotionally invested. Emotions are distractions. Rowen never took the threats seriously until she didn’t have a choice. Now she is stuck with a man who tries to restrain every emotion but she sees the inner turmoil he’s battling. Rescued By The Seal is a forced proximity, protector romance that will have you turning every page. As a side note. Logan Chance has written books in multiple multi-author series that center around different parts of the country. His contributions center around the Hawthorne brothers and their quest to learn the truth about their family,

An entertaining story with high tension, passion and mystery, this is the next book in the series following the Hawthorne brothers and continuing where Operation Bombshell left off. This is Sin (Sinclair) and Rowan's book and I was not disappointed.
A forced proximity tale between a stoic ex-military man and a snarky investigative journalist in a spot of bother. Smoking hot chemistry and enough tension to snap an elastic band, this is a slow burn story which had me thinking for crying out loud just get over yourselves and give in already! When they do - fireworks!
After an action packed conclusion with twists and unexpected revelations Sin & Rowan get their HEA, but we are again left with a doozy of a cliffhanger.
The plot thickens - will we discover why the brothers have been taken, who did it and what is the mystery surrounding their father?
I can't wait to learn more with Bank's story up next!
I gratefully received an complimentary copy of this book and this is my honest review.
Received as an ARC and leaving my honest review voluntarily. Rescued By The Seal is the first of 14 books in A Tidehaven Seal Romance series and are all written by different romance authors. Logan Chance's book is Sin (Sinclair) Hawthorne and Rowan Sand's story.
Sin is a Navy SEAL who also works for a private security firm, which sends him on his current mission to rescue and protect investigative journalist Rowan. Their attraction is immediate which could be a problem since her life is in danger and he needs to keep her safe. Throw in the forced proximity of a safe house, sassy banter and tension so thick you could cut it with a tactical knife, and you have the perfect recipe of inevitable explosive passion amidst the suspense and danger!
Sin's 'side' story is also a continuation of the Hawthorne brothers and their quest to learn the truth about their dad, which is another level of suspense, danger and action. The cliffhanger is the lead in to Bank's story which already looks to be another tension, suspenseful read... can't wait!
We are back with the Hawthorne brothers and their search for their supposedly dead father. This series has had me sitting on the edge of my seat with every book due to the suspense of looking into their father and what each of them went through. Rescued By The Seal is Sin's book and boy, is he one interesting man. Sin is working with his brothers until he receives a call from a woman who wants protection for her daughter, Rowna. Sin finds it almost impossible to turn her down because of the money and help she can offer him and his brothers to keep looking into their father. Now, Rowan is an investigative journalist who is in danger but refuses help. She comes across as a strong and fierce woman but deep down, she is scared. These two do not hit it off; in fact, they seem to be at one another's throats. The angst turns into a chemistry they can't ignore and things heat up. When danger arrives. Sin loses his mind and it takes him and his brothers to deal with it. A storyline filled with suspense and romance, all rolled into one interesting book.
Sin was just leaving to go with his brothers on a mission to follow-up on a lead they had received about their father who had been presumed dead for years when he received a call that would change his life. Rowan is an investigative journalist has had several near-death encounters which were meant to scare her away from a story she has been researching. There is an instant attraction between Sin and Rowan, but he is determined to not cross any lines that would put his asset in danger and might prevent him from the vigilance needed to provide her the protection this situation requires. While they are holed up in a safe house, temptation erodes the boundaries Sin set in place, and they seem to be barreling toward their HEA if he can keep her sage. The Tidehaven SEAL Romance is a great new series, and they picked the best author, Logan Chance to begin the stories. I will be read the remaining books ASAP.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Sin Hawthorne, you broody, beautiful man — you had me at “grumpy shadow.” 😍
Logan Chance absolutely delivers with this one. Sin is everything you want in a military romance hero — all controlled intensity, muscle, and mission-mode energy — until Rowan walks in and blows up every wall he’s ever built. And honestly I love to see it.
Rowan is sunshine with a smart mouth and I am so here for it. She doesn’t shrink for anyone, not even a six-foot-something SEAL with a glare that could stop traffic. Their banter is chef’s kiss — equal parts electric and hilarious.
The safe house trope is perfection. Forced proximity, stolen glances, and tension so thick you could cut it with a tactical knife. 🔥🫠
This is the kind of romance where you’re simultaneously screaming at the characters to just kiss already and begging for the story never to end.
Sin Hawthorne is officially a top-tier Hawthorne brother and I need the rest of the series immediately.
Rescued By The Seal is the 1st of 14 books in A Tidehaven Seal Romance series and are all written by different romance authors. Logan Chance creates such a dynamic action packed tension filled story that I'm immersed from the beginning until the end!
This is a great story and I can't get enough of the Hawthorne brothers! I'm enamored with Sin and his intense, growly alpha self who is all about protecting Rowan and fighting his instant attraction and connection after their first meeting. Rowan with her instincts and drive to do what's right regardless or because of the danger, bravery, witty banter and openness to pursue what she wants could be the biggest challenge Sin faces personally while trying to keep her safe.
With this story you will get grumpy vs sunshine, betrayal, suspense, action, forced proximity, lots of tension and hot sexy encounters that has you craving more!
Sin is a Navy SEAL who has agreed to protect Rowen, an investigative reporter, however he wasn’t prepared for the unexpected feelings he would have for her. He expects this to be a straightforward assignment however she is unlike any woman he has meant before and keeping their relationship professional is the one challenge he won’t be able to meet.
Rowen is strong, independent and says what she thinks despite the consequences. Investigating a story has placed her in danger but she isn’t about to back down from any challenge both when it comes to Sin and the threats against her.
Sin may be serious however he has met his match in Rowen as she knows exactly what to say to get a rise out of him. The connection between them was apparent from their first meeting and I enjoyed seeing them finally give in to their feelings for each other despite the dangerous situation they found themselves in.
I really enjoyed reading this book. Rowan is an investigative reporter who uncovers information that others want left covered up. After several attempts on her life, she realizes that she needs help. Who better to help then a Navy Seal. Sin definitely lives up to his call sign, pure sin wrapped up in a gorgeous body! I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. I really loved Rowan's sense of humor. To be going thru what she is and still be able to laugh is amazing. of course, Sin is has serious as Rowan is funny, put that together and the sparks are definitely flying. This book has lots of action, betrayal, and lots of sizzling heat. The only negative thing I will say is that it ends in a cliffhanger, which I personally don't enjoy. I love series that interact with each other thru a general plot but this one definitely leaves you hanging. Other than that it is a great book!!!
Another installment in the Tidehaven Seal series. This was a fast fairly short read but full of plot. It was contained some bits and pieces from the last book following the story of the search for their father. Sinclair Hawthorne is part of Maddox Bravo team and a fierce protector. His next assignment? A spunky , sassy, journalist who has drawn the attention of the wrong people and has the wrong sort of people coming for her. Rowan Sands. "Sin" takes Rowan to a company safe house to keep her safe. But with one bed and a whole lot of time on their hands, things go from zero to volcano in 3.5. Sin is protective and passionate and completely falling for Rowan. She keeps him on his toes, giving as good as she gets, and it is sweet and spicy all in one. Be warned, this one ends in a kind of cliffhanger. I was a little surprised, but it will keep me coming back for the next one. I recommend picking this series up. Thank you to Logan Chance for the advanced copy to read and review.
This book has thrilling action coupled with sweet romance, with heat and humorous banter mixed in. Just as he is leaving on a mission with his brothers to find his father, Sinclair AKA Sin Hawthorne is redirected to guard Rowan, a journalist. She is writing a story that has put her on the wrong side of some bad people who now want her dead. Sin figures it will be a short assignment, but while his brothers continue searching for their father, he is now trying to stop himself from falling for his client. However, his chemistry with Rowan is just too strong to deny. She is a woman with guts but she, too, is afraid to admit to love. There's some exciting action towards the end, with an HFN for the couple, and a major cliffhanger after Sin joins his brothers on the mission again. I'm waiting for the next story in the series with bated breath. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Rescued by the Seal is the 1st book in the multi-author Tidehaven SEAL Romance series. In this book we have the pleasure of getting Sinclair “Sin” Hawthorne and Rowan Sands story. Sin is a Navy SEAL who does side jobs for Salt & Steel private security. While on a personal mission with his brothers he's pulled away to take a high priority protection detail for an investigative journalist named Rowan Sands. Rowan has kicked a hornet's nest while investigating corporate corruption that has ties to organized crime. Now she's got a target on her back and escalating threats. This is a thrilling blend of action, suspense, danger, humor, spice and heartfelt emotions. I can't wait to see what happens next with the Hawthorne brother’s especially with that unexpected and shocking cliffhanger.
I received a copy through Booksprout an I'm voluntarily leaving my review.
Yet another Hawthorne brother getting hit by the love bug, and what a way to go! Sin Hawthorne is a Navy SEAL, but also works for a private security firm too, which sends him on his current mission to rescue and protect investigative journalist Rowan Sands. Rowan is full of sass, sarcasm and banter - I want to be Rowan when I grow up! She’s confidently mouthy and it’s enough to crack those solid walls Sin has in place. A little forced proximity and between their tension and banter, neither was going to come out unscathed. Great to catch up with the rest of the Hawthorne, though this one does kinda leave you hanging! Hope it’s not too long a wait to continue the saga!
I voluntarily reviewed a free advance copy of this book provided by the author. The opinions expressed are my own.
Rescued by the SEAL Maddox CHARLIE Team, Book 4 Logan Chance
Sin and Rowan
The Hawthorne brothers all want to find their father. But before they can do that, they each take on a mission. Each protector brother needs to keep someone safe, this time it’s Sin. Rowan is an investigative journalist and she has discovered some details some people don’t want to get out. Now she is in danger. Now with each close encounter and the close proximity, Sin and Rowan get closer to one another as they work to find out who is behind the threats.
These are fun, not too long, and entertaining books. The one thing I will mention, is they are all quite similar. But, with their quick pace, it makes it an easy read.
Sinclair (Sin) get a mission to protect a girl named Rowan she is being hunted by some shady people because of her newspaper story. Sin and Rowan get to a safe house where they find out that they both might be need saving from their own feelings. This book is officially one of my favorites. It’s giving Reacher Show vibes. 6ft assailant, muscles for days, and the attitude. Even Sin’s brothers are the Mcdreamy man!!. Who wouldn’t want to smother by them. Sin is the one to be on friendly terms with danger. But he has an “assignment “. Will this assignment be the one to push him past his limits or will he keep to himself. Either way Rowan is in for a treat!! I mean those broad shoulders are to die for. Going off grid nooo !!! I’ll leave that to your imagination . This book will make you want to love “eggs”. Stay tuned to find out if he goes through with the “assignment”.
