I loved this book and could not put it down! Reading this book felt like stepping into a dark hallway with only a faint light. Every page pulled me a little deeper, and I found myself constantly wondering what waited around the next corner. I especially enjoyed the dynamic between the two sisters. Their curiosity felt believable, and because their bond is so central to the story, the danger they face carries real emotional weight for me. As the mystery of the crypt unfolded, I caught myself leaning in, eager to piece together the clues with them. The Crypt of Lost Souls is the type of book that makes you want to keep the lights on but also keeps you turning the pages. Overall, I really enjoyed the experience and can't wait to see what lies ahead in the sisters' journey in the next book! This is a compelling pick for anyone who likes their mysteries laced with fear, heart, and the sense that something just out of sight is waiting to be found!

This is the sort of book that carries you away, and makes you forget who you are, and what you're supposed to be doing. I loved every word. Molly did a great job of describing without getting too lost in the details. It's so rare nowadays to find something truly unique. I had so many theories during this read and they were not right she left me guessing till the end. Speaking about the ending it's a head turner book throwing ending make sure to read it carefully or you might miss it.

The Crypt of Lost Souls, at 322 pages, is one of those rare debuts where you can feel the author’s heart in every chapter. I expected strong characters and imaginative premises, but what Molly R. Anderson delivers here goes well beyond that. This story has weight, atmosphere, and a quiet emotional honesty that invites readers to feel connected and engaged from the start.

The bond between the two sisters is the anchor of the book, and Molly treats that relationship with the kind of care that only comes from someone who genuinely understands people. Their fear, their loyalty, their stubbornness, it feels lived-in and relatable. For someone with siblings, I could appreciate those late-night phone calls, and they are, you sure you know what you're doing here?
One moment that stayed with me is the scene where the sisters stand in the dark hallway, whispering about whether the sound they heard was real or just nerves. It’s such a small exchange, but Molly uses it to show exactly who they are, one trying to be brave, the other trying to be rational, both trying to protect each other even as the unknown closes in. He reminds me of how my brother and I would act on those nights in the dark, staring at our hallway from our bedroom door.

What I really love about Molly’s writing is how she knows when to hold back. She doesn’t go for cheap scares or flashy effects. Instead, she creates suspense by carefully crafting the mood and details, gradually tightening the tension in a way that catches you by surprise. This subtle approach makes the story feel so genuine, and it keeps readers excited to see what’s coming next!

This book is more than a paranormal mystery, and it’s also up for Indie Author of the Year on Chaptermint.com! So, go and vote for her! Molly R. Anderson is just getting started, and I’m excited to see how her voice explores themes of loyalty, fear, and resilience. I can’t recommend this book enough to anyone who loves a story that sticks with you!

The Crypt of Lost Souls by Molly Anderson is a hauntingly good paranormal thriller that completely pulled me in from the very first pages. This story is packed with eerie atmosphere, chilling moments, and a mystery that keeps you turning pages late into the night.

Anderson does an incredible job blending suspense with supernatural elements. The tension builds perfectly, and just when you think you know what’s going on, the story takes another twist that keeps you hooked. The darker tone and paranormal aspects make the world feel unsettling in the best possible way.

What I loved most was how immersive the story felt. The crypt, the secrets, and the lingering spirits all create a spine-tingling setting that paranormal thriller fans will absolutely devour.

If you enjoy stories filled with mystery, supernatural chills, and a plot that keeps you guessing, this is definitely one to add to your TBR.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A gripping paranormal thriller that kept me hooked until the very end.
