RECLAIMING REBECCA is the first instalment in Cassie Colton’s contemporary, adult WHISKEY AND ROSES dark, military, romantic suspense series set in the author’s SERENITY SECURITY series, a part of the multi-authored series featuring characters initially introduced by Susan Stoker. The world building is graphic and dark as we are up close and personal with the murder and madness of a world few know anything about.Rebecca Rhodes is determined to protect the women and young girls she considers her responsibility, but the deeper Rebecca falls, she is unable to protect herself.
The relationship between Rebecca and Julio begins as one of the forbidden as government agents working for different factions of powerful law enforcement. Trying to keep their relationship a secret, Julio must reveal the truth when the woman he loves becomes a victim of an international human trafficking ring. The $ex scenes are limited.
There is a large ensemble cast of determined, desperate and charismatic secondary and supporting characters many of whom were introduced and had leading roles in the author’s SERENITY MOUNTAIN series.

Reclaiming Rebecca is a terrific read. This is my first Cassie Colton book and I cannot wait to read more. Rebecca is a trained CIA agent who is trying to keep her asset hidden. She is amazing at her job and even when she goes missing tries to remain focused on saving those she's in contact with. Julio is an FBI agent working on a sex trafficking case. Once Rebecca goes missing Julio operates more in a gray area. I love how Julio never gives up searching for his love, Rebecca. I love Rebecca's strength throughout this. This suspense has a few darker moments but there is so much light too. Julio and his team do everything they can to rescue and protect the women and children put through the sex trafficking ring. Even when it seems safe Rebecca never stopped working her job. I love how Julio never gives up on Rebecca and brings her out of the darkness. Julio and Rebecca make a good team as they round up the ring and set the victims free. I could not put this down. I cannot wait to read more in the Whisjey and Rose series. Go one click this today.

Reclaiming Rebecca is book one in the Whiskey and Rose series and this book is on the darker side being that it sheds light on real life situations. When CIA Rebecca goes missing her love interest Julio with the FBI will stop and nothing to find out what is going on. When Rebecca and Julio discovers that people on the inside are involved and that is what happened to Rebecca, Julio vows to burn the world down until he finds her. Rebecca becomes a victim in the huge world of trafficking. Will Julio and the Serenity team break up the trafficking ring and save all the victims before it’s too late? Will enemies that have ties to Avie Ex Husband Rahimi come to cause more problems. This book will have you wanting to seek justice and also make you emotional cause you feel the pain.

This book is about Human trafficking and their survivors. It's a insightful and disturbing look into this subject.
Agent Rebecca is double crossed and gets taken by a trafficking ring and her boyfriend FBI agent Julio does all he can to find her.
This story read emotional, and captivating. You need the tissues as this is a hard hitting look for these characters. Julio and Rebecca have it so tough but the fight they have to come back together is worth it.
I loved the other characters that added to the story like little Megan, Kara and also the team.
A fantastic story and in looking forward to this new series. Beautifully written, the plot was eye opening and displayed the danger and horror the survivors go through. Such a brilliant read.

To Hell and Back One Inch At A Time
This is a hard book to read so take the trigger warnings seriously. However, it’s also worth reading especially the ending and redemption. I know this must have cost Ms. Colton many many tears to write Rebecca and the other survivors’ stories but they are survivors. Julio is a survivor as well and I’m glad Ms. Colton mentions this in her book. It’s hard to love a story such as this when the characters have gone through such trauma that you have trouble articulating it but they are survivors book is one that’s hard to put down until you hit end. Grab the tissues, a glass or bottle of wind, and indulge in a fantastic, yet haunting read. It’s so worth it.

Rebecca and Juilo fall in love but try to keep it a secret so they can continue to work together. When a case leads Rebecca to disappear, she reaches out to a few people she works with in the CIA and Juilo. Juilo decides to devote himself to burning the world down until he finds the love of his life and brings her home. I am not familiar to all the other characters as I started with this series but look forward to going back to other series. Check your trigger warnings as some topics are sensitive. I have already almost finished book 2. I have had this author on my TBR for a while, so I just started with her most recent series figuring I'd catch up on this series first then go back to the others.

OMG! Rebecca and Julio's story is my most favorite of all Cassie's books! We all knew Rebecca was so strong from from Cassie's previous books, but to find out that Juilo and her are in love and she goes missing! Then to find out half the CIA is corrupt along with senators and what not! Rebecca stayed so strong for all those kids and women while praying for her man and friends to come! Thankfully they did! Rebecca gets her HEA and this book just shows a tiny bit of what actually is out there in the real world

This book was so intense. I have never read a book like this one. I kinda knew what to expect with the warning at the beginning, but OMG! What Rebecca went through and how strong she was all through it. It just blew my mind. Her strength is what got her through everything as well as helped the other women. Julio never gave up hope of finding her. He was her strength. I loved the ending. It was a perfect ending! I look forward to the next book in this series!

Cassie Colton knocks it out of the park!
I can’t really rate this book as being real and accurate because I have never experienced such horror that burned my soul to read about! It was wonderful and left me speechless and unable to describe my feelings that such evil exists!
So well written in such a way that I felt I was watching it on a movie screen.
And I know that such things are happening every single day , all around us.

Wow another great read. There are trigger warnings but the story
is so worth it. This is the first book in a new series.
A little on the darker side. But with all of Cassies books they pull you
in and its a ride you will never forget.

Reclaiming Rebecca is the first book in the Whiskey and Roses Series by Cassie Colton. Rebecca is missing and the man who loves her will burn down the world to find and bring her home. Will they be able to continue their relationship after everything Rebecca went through while being held captive? This book is amazing, heart wrenching ,haunting and captivating. Wow! Another intense emotional story. Cassie Colton put me (and her characters) through the wringer! The characters feel so real and the storyline is very engaging. It is part of a series but can be read as a stand-alone.

This was an extremely potent and powerful read. The emotions and feelings are thick and intense and the added blend of suspense, danger and action raw. Be prepared because there is plenty of tragedy and heartbreak to endure as Rebecca and Julio's story unfolds.

If you like horrific rape scenes and bad language this is the book for you. (sarcasm here) I stopped at chapter 10 and couldn't stand any more. I then went to the last few chapters to see how it ended. I thought Rebecca's suffering was too long.

The first in the new Whiskey and Roses series, this is Julio and Rebecca's story and one which we have had glimpses of throughout Cassie Colton's other series. This story is not for the faint hearted and is full of heart-breaking emotional trauma, both from main characters but secondary characters too. There is a reason trigger warnings are included and this is a darker subject matter and Rebecca's strength is simply unimaginable. Julio stops at nothing to find, protect and reconnect with Rebecca and their emotional story is filled with suspense, trauma and turmoil. But, in true Cassie Colton style, she leads us from the dark into the light and there is so much hope, promise and redemption in this story too that fills you with hope for the future. A great start to a new series with some familiar faces and some new ones whose stories I can't wait to read.

This story may be hard for some people to read, it involves trafficking not only women, young girls, children and men/boys. It took over a year for Julio to find Rebecca. They were moved around a lot. It's heartbreaking to read and hear about this going on. There's danger, gun fights and humiliation. HEA.
