Jane Bancroft has built her life around balance—yoga flows, mindfulness mantras, and a studio that feels more like a sanctuary than a business. She's caring, grounded, and just chaotic enough to be irresistible. Especially to Brady Hinckelson.
Broody. Brash. Brady co-owns Dog Tired Brewery with Jane's brother and has a reputation for one-night stands and zero complications. Jane is everything he's not—and everything he's wanted for years. But a promise to her overprotective brother keeps him firmly in the "look but don't touch" zone.
Until Jane decides she's done being looked at.
When she makes her move with the same passion she brings to her practice, Brady finds himself in a position he's never been all in. But secrets, stubbornness and a tangled web of loyalty might just cost them both the love they didn't know they were desperate for.
This time falling could be the most grounding move of all.
JESSICA JAYNE is a born and raised small-town Ohio girl, who moved to the Sunshine State after graduating from college with an English degree. She attended law school and passed her bar exam on the very first attempt. She met the love of her life in a romance novel sort of way. They married and have three beautiful (and sometimes crazy) kids.
Jessica loves to travel and travel often! She’s jumped out of several perfectly good airplanes. When not watching her son isn't racing in a regatta or her daughters dominate the volleyball court, she watches Buckeye football and the Tampa Bay Lightning. She’s a wine-making (and wine-tasting with her girlfriends) aficionado. She loves all music. Thinks Eric Church is a rock star. Worships Jason Momoa. Believes Game of Thrones was the best show on television but lives by many Seinfeld-isms.
Jane and Brady’s story has her bro/his friend and business partner, Rex, way overprotective of Jane. But I see he thinks he is protecting her from being his one nighter but when it seems Brady has changed he still doesn’t like it. So it causes Brady to be back and forth with their relationship. But in the end the love wins out.

Jane and Brady have feeling for each other but Rex, Jane’s brother is over the top protective. I enjoyed this book and it’s well written with a lot of steam. I just am not a fan of Rex and that Brady flips and flops about his feelings so much. This is a good read.

I had mixed feelings about this book. On the one hand, the writing style was fine and I liked how honest Jane was about her feelings for Brady. On the other hand, I thought it was utterly ridiculous that Jane’s brother Rex would be so overprotective and unyielding about her being in a relationship with Brady. That he couldn’t see her as a grown woman able to make her own choices said a lot about their relationship. And I was annoyed with Brady going hot and cold over and over. The spice starts pretty quickly and the story moves along at a decent pace. I’m just not sure if that’s enough to overshadow the over-the-top angst.

A great story follows Brady and Jane. They've had feelings for each other for a while but haven't acted on them yet, mainly because her brother, Rex, isn't happy about it and is overprotective. At first, I could somewhat relate to the idea that a brother might be happy about his little sister being with his partner, but later I didn't like him as much. Despite everything, they finally give in to their feelings. A page-turner.

OFF LIMITS is Book 2 of the Dog Tired Brewery. It's a short and steamy, OTT, mutual-pining, girl gets her brother's best friend romance. Jane has loved Brady forever, but Brady is her brother, Rex's, best friend. He likes her too but has concerns about Rex. This one was just OK for me. Brady was hot and cold and Rex was a jerk. The chemistry was decent and the ending was happy after all the drama. 3.5☆S
I liked this book. Brady has loved Jane forever but couldn't act due to her brother Rex, his best friend. They finally get together, Rex heavy handedly buts in. I love they stood their ground for the relationship. Good book, a re read.
