Ancient Being Predecessor of the Primordial Era: OP MC Cultivation LitRPG
Being mistaken for an Ancient Predecessor usually results in heavenly benefits. Not for James Anderson.

A misogynistic MC, a silly premise, but a promising story if it can be turned around
I wish I could really have liked this book better. I didn’t because of the main premise that the MC does not know how strong or powerful he is that kind of silliness took me totally out of the story. The second thing is his misogynistic attitude towards women and the fact that he’s trying to use these two girls as his nukes as he calls them. Don’t like self-centered MC’s. That kind of misogynistic thinking is deplorable and I don’t prefer to read it in a book when we have so much of that kind of thinking in the real world. These kinds of books just. reinforce that kind of thinking. in my humble opinion, this story should pivot 180° where the MC through some story, plot or armor like the system becoming unlocked, learns all about his abilities really care for these two girls and helps them gro protect themselves and helps grow their clan. It would make it a much better story and maybe more people would read it and the global reviews would be in the five or 600 by now. just a thought. the only reason I’m giving it three stars is the sword fight with the side character, Jun, in my opinion, the best part of the book entirely. I might read the next book if it comes out because it has promise only if the author can turn it around. I love OPMC‘s, that’s why my favorite book is system universe. But in that book, the MC is honorable unlike the MC in this book. Some of you may like this book, even though I have these issues with it give it a shot. It’s your time and your dime.

Wanted it to be good.
It wasn't a bad read. For the most part, I enjoyed it. My only issue is the plot device used to make the MC a moron, and his non-actions to at least find out how strong he is. There are quite a few manwahs that are very similar and just like them, the plot device works for a few chapters before it get frustratingly boring.

Intriguing story with flaws
I'm not really sure why I found this book to be so compelling. A lot of it is on the shallow side, especially the worldbuilding. The MC'S inner monologue becomes repetitive after a while. Really odd word choices at times. Wrong words or homophones are present. None of this ruined the book for me and I tend to get annoyed fairly easy at poor editing.
I liked the side characters. I liked the perspective switches. I liked the oblivious MC being a world ending calamity level of strong while thinking he is weak. I liked the spirits. I don't really understand how he understands so little after literal millions of years. How can you exist that long and not read the only books in your world? I don't fully understand the system or its boundaries as it applies to the MC in his new world.
I don't like that the final words in the book are along the lines of 'Book 2 is live' when book 2 doesn't release for more than a month. This is silly and can only serve to annoy your readership.

Fun story but it needs editing
James Anderson, a normal human from earth running late to work one minute only to find himself trapped in a flying island with no one around and a system that refuses to be clear.
I really enjoyed the story and tone, but it needs a serious look from an editor.

I liked the premise; a god-tier body cultivator who thinks he's a fraud since he can't cultivate mana, tries to con everyone into thinking he's a powerful ancestor to live the easy life. Talk about imposter syndrome!

Loved It
Was a great read and I couldn’t put down. The amount of cluelessness the MC somehow has despite being millions of years old can get a bit frustrating at times, but it’s very much meant to be something of an Abbott and Costello situation. Looking forward to the next one!

Op but not obnoxious
I like this take on cultivation isekai. The Mc isn't ridiculously arrogant, he stayed human so to speak. And the side character add a lil extra entertainment. Especially since the mc is the only one who doesn't realize he is OP

Read it on a whim and now I have a new author to follow!
Fantastic book! My only real gripe is the MC not realizing he is OP, but hell thats the genre:]
I'm going to be looking at whatever else the author has written as his stuff is pretty well put together!

DNF book 2 about 50%. Powered through more then I needed to with the hopes it would pick up. But unfortunately it stayed a mediocre slog. Some good ideas here but it was paced to slow with no real action. Almost slice of life style book honestly. I think the author was going for humor but it didn’t land for me. I’m giving. It 1 star instead of 3 because of the weird shit with rape and 10-15 yo girls.

Started the book, was okish, but nothing great. And I dislike certain types of MC, like one that lies all the time, so gave up at 20%. There was nothing up to that point to make the book interesting enough to keep going despite my MC dislike.

MC is unreal, in a bad way
There is every chance of this becoming legitimately engaging. And it did drag me to the end of this book. As of now, though, it almost lost me. On top of the frustration of a non-sensical system apparently implemented specifically to cause these kinds of problems, there is the main character. Or rather, there is no main character.
He's a story device, not a character. The decisions he makes, his perspective; everything about him is to bring about the desired plot and story elements. He even has internally contradictory logic and derailed thought trains, all to support the desired story shape.
Here's an example, at one point, he was bored to the point of losing his mind. He had unreal amounts of time on his hands. He did not fill his boredom with books he had on hand. Not once did he think to try something manually that would not work automatically. When something didn't seem to work, he just did it again and again the same way until he gave up and never touched the subject again. He's a device, not a person. He doesn't think like a person.
He also doesn't engage the story world and characters beyond maybe two young girls, if even them. He engages his preconceptions and anxieties about the world. His sees little beyond his own thoughts, even before he lost a couple of marbles.

I would have loved to see him slowly develop his understanding in his own way but totally misunderstand the scope and context. For everyone around him to be playing off of his ideas and explorations; them being unwilling to believe he doesn't know exactly what he's doing.
There's so many ways to have fun with it. Those do NOT include innocent people being tortured and killed. The people responsible are packed with plot armor and treated like little miscreants who didn't know any better. The "MC" saying they don't deserve death or anything too harsh (in one instance, he knew they wanted to r@pe one of the girls). This happened multiple times.
Yeah. I didn't enjoy that or the fact that that's exactly what every permanent character in the story is turning out to be, other the main three. All of them are brutal sadists and mass murderers. Those aren't exaggerations.

He gain some disciples and keeps calling them "NUKES". In fact his every other word is "Nuke"; nuke this, nuke that. The main character really is a ignorant clueless child. Even after spending eons alone, he never grew up. The misogyny that oozes out of this thousand year old boy was actually kinda gross. He was a loser before his death, and loser after gaining all this power in his new life. Trust me, you don't want to read about a main character with a loser mentality with superpowers.

It’s starts off very chuuni. The guy is running across open traffic thinking chuuni thoughts about how he is above us mortals , the greatest in the world. Then dies or isekai then it’s an acient being is going to train me because I’m special. How I’m going to get powerful sleep with a bunch of babes.
Have a harem, this whole story is trash. The OC is delusional. And his supposed eons of living did not mature him in anyway. The writing is off, character development nonexistent. The world around them no information. He’s thinking he super weak. But never tries anything.
The premise was good this could have been a great story. I originally liked the idea when I read the description but even though it said harem in a joking way I gave it a shot.

Disjointed rambling
You can skip the fist 20% of the book as it has nearly no bearing on the eventual story attempt. Frequent grammar errors don't help either. The MC is a crazy person from the first chapter all the way thru. He is mostly irrelevant to the disjointed rambling slop of a story attempt. If this were an attempt at satire of isekai or cultivation books that would make more sense. However it's not funny and the MC has a very creepy, inconsistent and\or idiotic inner monologue that makes a bad story worse. Don't expect anything to tie together. Don't expect any growth from the MC. He's the same guy all the way thru just with more stuff. More plot holes than plot. Not recommended.

Another OP Protagonist who thinks he's a weakling
There has been a flood of books and animes just like this over that last six months or so. I made it through half before skipping ahead to see if at any point the MC ever grows up, realizes the extremely OBVIOUS situation, and stops being a coward even though he's around 100x more powerful than anything he's encountered. I left it at three stars as the writing is decent, I didn't notice any glaring errors, and at times the MC's personality got a chuckle but overall I didn't finish due to lack of something original.

started well with all the jokes and interesting promise but it didn't deliver. no significant fights mc just one shots everyone, he keeps taking about getting a harem and stuff but even in that he fails and acts like an incel. after a while it gets really tedious and boring with nothing to break the monotony. plus some good number of typos. book keeps telling the same scene from multiple povs just to add page count.

OPPS You have a little STORY on your INTERNAL DIALOGUE
I was skipping through paragraphs just to get through a single short conversation man. Holy smokes at some points you start a conversation and mid way through you have a full paragraph of internal dialogue then you finish the single sentence of conversation.

Good read
We all wish we had nukes like he is building. This story is about a guy who almost goes insane being alone. Then he finds a kid that thinks he is her ancestor. Of course he says yes. I liked this plot and all the madness around it. I am glad there are already more books in the series because there are mysteries I want answers to.

hum
The story is entertaining if not a bit repetitive. The characters are flushed out and multidimensional , the interactions are believable. My issue was the structure and pacing I found myself having to backtrack because the syntax is bit different .

I’m sorry but this MC is so stupid it’s unbelievable. The guy can’t comprehend common sense and over thinks everything. If you’re into the OP but incredibly stupid MC trope then this book is for you!

A very fun read
It’s been a fun read so far. Looking forward to the second book. It’s a little wild and somewhat confusing at times, but stick with it and you gain an idea of what’s going on. Just good fun.

Interesting, but flawed
I wanted to like this book, but the mc seems so brain dead most of the time. Also, there are numerous typos, misused words, fragmented sentences, and repetition of ideas. Also, Wu Xui comes out of nowhere.

Great premise, increasingly well done writing
As above the premise brought me in and at first it was a little off tone, but as the story progressed the author seemed to tune in a little better.

this was a weird one, the Mc is so utterly oblivious to his own strength, while also not being able to control Qi simply becasue it's too thin for him to absorb. also the fact that he keeps talking about Nukes is annoying as hell.
