The generation that grew up under the pandemic, behind their masks, tells very different stories. Some, thanks to their strong mothers, managed to walk out of the shadows, start their lives almost smoothly, and even go on to help others. Others, having mothers who were harsh and overbearing, grew up timid and cautious, missing chances in life until many years later. In short, children are often shaped by the kind of mothers they have; a mother’s vision determines the child’s future. The only pity is that the story ends too neatly and morally, giving it an unavoidably old-fashioned feel.
