I must admit, I couldn’t wait to read “Lei’d to rest confessions” once I realized Jinx’s ex husband, Erwin and his fiancée Candy Tassels were coming to the resort to be married. I am not sure what was going through Erwin’s head when he thought that was a good idea. Candy is more concerned with being an influencer and documenting everything for her followers and her business manager Alana thinks all the charm of what makes Hawaii – Hawaii needs to go. It’s the kind of wedding you expect something to go wrong because it’s just so out there and boy does it. You can’t have a wedding without someone being murdered. Now it’s up to Jinx, Ruby, Lani, and of course the real detective Koa to find out who murdered the victim. There’s no short list of suspects: Candy, Erwin, Erwin’s mother Bertha, Candy’s sister Della, and the wedding planner, Halea. You can’t help but laugh at the trouble Jinx, Ruby, and Lani find themselves in while they are trying to figure out who murdered the victim like when Bertha and the girls get stuck in mud. You also can’t help but swoon watching the relationship blossom between Jinx and Koa especially when Koa takes Jinx to meet his family. Even with the chaos that happens, I think Jinx won over his family because you can’t help but like someone who finds themselves in trouble all the time especially when it’s accidental. I will admit, I was surprised by the reveal of the murderer. As the story got closer to the end I could definitely understand why, but throughout the story, I wasn’t quite sure. I like when I am left wondering and I am surprised at the end. The author did a great job of doing so.
This was definitely my favorite book in the series thus far, and I can’t wait to read the next book. Though the book can be read as a stand alone, I highly recommend starting at the beginning. It helps you to appreciate the dynamics among the characters even more.

The characters are vibrant and easy to root for, the plot keeps you guessing without ever taking itself too seriously, and the quirky animal sidekicks add a layer of charm that makes the whole story irresistible. What really impresses is how seamlessly all these elements blend together — nothing feels forced or out of place. It’s the kind of book where you settle in, smile, and just enjoy the ride.

Lei’d to Rest is the third book in the Coconut confessions Hawaii Cozy Mystery series. Justine “Jinx” Julep just recently learned her husband’s idea for wedding vows, till death do us part, actually meant till someone hotter slides into his DM’s. So after divorcing him she looked to relocate and thought she applied to the east coast but mistakenly applied and was hired during her interview, further west in Kauai. When she first arrived Jinx hoped things were better than they appear. The resort has seen better decades, check-ins were down and her room was a storage room off the parking garage.
When Jinx found out the resort was hosting a wedding she didn’t seem bothered until she found out it was her ex new wife to be. Candy seemed nice enough not a bridezilla and her wedding planner, but her business manger was another story. She wanted the resort to look less Hawaiian among a list of other things. But her trouble making an isn’t last long as she was soon found dead. During the first of many wedding events. Jinx once again feels like she needs to look into this as she stumble across the body at the resort. She has less than a week to find the killer. Not only is there Erwin Julep, his mother, Bertha, and the ring-light obsessed Candy to deal with, but also her business assistant, Alana, who finds the resort’s authentic Hawaiian charm too much.Thankfully, Jinx has Ruby and Lani, as well as the sinfully hot Detective Koa, to distract her from her homicidal urges. Too bad someone else decided the wedding entourage needed one less. Jinx knows where she’d like to pin the blame, but who actually did it? Round up the feral chickens and cats for another madcap search for a killer in paradise.

Jinx, Lani and Ruby are getting ready for a destination wedding. Tikki torches and all that goes with Island life. The first to show up is none other than Erwin, Jinx's ex, the same one she left the east coast to get away from. Next to arrive is his influencer fiancee' Candy who is live recording all for her 2M followers. In an suv arrives Candy's business partner/manager Alana who proceeds to say the Hawaiian feel of the place is too ethnic to please all of Candy's viewers. She wants trees removed, can you imagine that? Finally the real wedding planner arrives ready and raring to go. Koa pops by in his scan of the perimeters of the resort and well, Alana and Haylea wedding planner practically attack the handsome Koa. For him, it is amusing since he only has eyes for Jinx. When Bertha, Erwin's mom arrives the fun begins. The interactions between the characters is funny, especially when Ruby, Lani, Jinx and Bertha take an unscheduled mud bath! For me, I am excited to see Jinx and Koa's relationship progress to where he takes her to meet his family.

The groom needs all the help he can muster to get we’d to the bride. So feelings aside and all that malarky. Jinx Julep’s cohorts help out the resort and take to wedding planning themselves .
Well this one is bizarre to start with ,the bride is an influencer . Everything is content except her . She doesn’t care for what they’re doing. Not even about the groom’s attempts at wooing. Useful or gone with this one.
Talking of gone ,they’re dropping one by one so this investigation needs ramping up sharpish before the ones hunting for clues fall by the wayside too.

Lei’d to Rest Confessions is a funny cozy mystery. This is the first book I’ve read by this Addison Moore & it won’t be the last since I laughed out loud reading about Jinx Julep, Spam the cat & the Coconut Cove Paradise Resort crew since it was so funny. Really nice to see the Malasada recipe at the end of the book; we ate them while we were in Hawaii, so I’ll definitely try to make them! The book was funny since Jinx’s ex of a few months shows up at her resort to marry an influencer, her ex mom-in-law arrives, and the brides manager Alana wants to ‘streamline the experience’ & asks her to remove visuals like tiki lamps, leis, so it’s Hawaii without the Hawaiian. Alana never has anything nice to say & argues with everyone, so of course Jinx finds her dead body on the beach…and of course the influencer bride gets married anyway. Jinx solves the whodunnit while making us laugh, so I look forward to the next book in the series. I received this funny cozy mystery as an ARC from Book Sprout & am leaving an honest review.

Why would your ex ever decide to remarry in your not quite luxurious resort. Jinx Julep has no idea and, frankly, isn't thrilled with the idea. She's even less excited when the wedding planner is murdered. Jinx, along with her cohorts, Lani and Ruby, try to solve the murder while trying to get Erwin married off. Then there is Koa. The relationship is growing and Jinx even is taken to meet his parents! Swoon. I still adore the feral cats and chickens. They do add to the stories.
I really do love this series. The characters are great and the stories make me laugh out loud. Fabulous writing! I can't wait for the next book.

Wedding disaster incoming
If you’re looking for hard boiled detectives this isn’t your book. Of you want something that is borderline insane and resembles the Scooby crew with more accidents then read on! This book will make you groan and snort laugh in equal measure and I mean that in the best way. Jinx is a walking calamity and that spreads in every aspect of her life and events at the resort. Some might take it as a sign she uses it as opportunity for questionable behavior and crazy shenanigans. End result silliness wrapped in a mystery. Or a mystery wrapped in silliness take your pick either way it’s light and fun to read.

Loved this Hawaiian Cosy Mystery!
Jinx is managing and renovating what was a Hawaiian Beach resort in disarray. And, it’s been booked for its first major event, a wedding with the participants arriving from the mainland! The bride-to-be, Candy Tassels, is a very popular online “Influencer”. But, the groom is Jinx’s ex, Erwin along with his mother and the bride’s family. It’s definitely a uniquely interesting group. Unfortunately there’s a murder!!! Can Jinx and her friends solve the murder before the wedding ceremony takes place? And, there’s also Detective Koa Hale working on the case. Who will solve the case first?
I think you’ll enjoy this novel as much as I did.

I can't help but enjoy the chaos of Addison Moore's Coconut Confession series. This time, Jinx's ex-husband, Erwin, shows up with his new fiance, a social media influencer, for a marriage in paradise, and for some reason chose the resort that Jinx manages for it. Then the fiance's media lady turns up dead. Jinx now has to solve the murder without committing homicide herself. Can't blame the lady. I'd have killed for less. The novel is hilarious, and I'm starting to think that Spam is a secret Hawaiian god trapped in a cat's body. He manages to come to the rescue A LOT.

Jinx is managing the Coconut Palms Paradise Resort when her ex-husband decides to get married there, and things take some crazy turns. The soon to be wife is a social media influencer, the wedding planner turns up dead, and Jinx finds herself in the middle of the wedding and a murder investigation, too. This is a cozy murder mystery with quirky characters, humor, a great storyline, and a great ending. Lei'd to Rest Confessions is book three in The Coconut Confessions: Hawaii Cozy Mysteries series. “Hashtag—SomebodySaveMe”…BWAHAHA! I am gonna have to remember that! Also, “CSI: Gilligan’s Island”…I’d watch that! This was another entertaining escapade for Jinx and crew. This one involves her loser ex-husband. It is a good thing she has Ruby and Lani to accompany her on her investigations and to provide valuable interference/distraction. I love that the cats are always involved. It makes me smile. I had fun reading this and look forward to the next one!

When I read the blurb for this book I couldn't help but cringe. Who on earth would want to have their wedding at their ex-wife's business??? Talk about hilarious. I laughed out loud in places and cringed in others and just shook my head at the exploits. This is such a fun series and I can just imagine what else Jinx will end up being in the middle of.

Some lovely laugh out loud moments in this great mystery which I received as an ARC copy.
There's plenty of suspects when the wedding planner is murdered then there's Jinx's ex and his fiance to cope with - and Jinx, what can you say, she's hilarious, along with Ruby and Lani and the romance is definitely hotting up with Koa, especially after meeting his family. Loved it.

Jinx keeps living up to her name. This time, her ex has decided to get married at the resort. Lucky for him, she is not petty. Unlucky for her, she stumbles over a dead body. There are a number of suspects, like an ex-mother-in-law. There are some laugh-out-loud scenes in this book that can be read as a standalone.

Lei’d to Rest Confessions Book 3 of the Coconut Confessions, Hawaii Cozy Mysteries by Addison Moore is my favorite so far! Ms. Moore has a delicate hand in crafting mystery with humor and does it so well! I enjoy this series and this story 10+ stars!

I enjoyed this Cozy Mystery
This book was an enjoyable read. I am from Kauai and enjoy reading stories that take place in Paradise. I like books that don’t have too many characters to keep track of. This book was captivating and an easy read. I also liked that the main characters were introduced at the very start of the book. I look forward to book four.
