This was fun and hot and forbidden. There were a couple of moments that I scrunched up my nose because Daddy vs. Dad doesn’t need confusing, thanks. So that killed the vibe for a sec. Other than that, Joel and Haylo were fire. Cook away, Ms. Kane, I’ll take 14 more. 🔥 🫦 🤭

This is one of the sexiest, smuttiest books, and one of the best JK reads.

Innocent girl, pilot hero, lots of daddy issue and dirty sex, some voyeurism, and a happy ending.

For a horny read, not gonna kid myself: it does the job. There is enough plot to keep you engaged. The smut is well... smutting.
But there are two points in the novella that should make everybody uncomfortable, if not please seek some help. You're either groomed or not normal.

1/There was not an "exhibitionist kink" per say... MCs had no direct pleasure from getting watched. However they are fond of making out in public places. MMC would knead the FMC's ass publicly then spank her and all men around the place start groaning WTF!!!
They have sex in the pool and when the scene ends the writer tells us that's when MCs start hearing noises around them from strange men!!!

2/I'm all for daddy king and daddy issues. But pleaaaaaaaaase let's not sexualize our parents. MMC is not a simple daddy, he's posing as the real dad telling FMC to ask him to pay for tuition and he would answer her like her biological father would and then tell her "you look like your mommy. Do you feel as tight as her?" What kind of fucked-up role play is that? And don't get me started on MCs having loud sex on purpose close to the father bedroom just so MMC can make this point "I'm her daddy now." !!!!

Safe-ish because he doesn’t do relationships and says he’s done one night stands and situationships – which is a trigger for me – but as soon as he sees her his mind changes and no other girl exists for him. He even changes his career plans to stay with her and help her heal from her trauma of abandonment by her father.

One of the things JK likes to have in her books is an experienced H that doesn’t do relationships until he sees the h, a virgin h, and an exhibitionist scene. For these possessive guys, letting other men see their girl in a very intimate and personal doesn’t sound real. They shouldn’t want to share even a slight sound from her. These are the reasons I steered clear of her books for a while.

What she really is good at, is describing their intimate times. She’s one of the best I’ve read. Just that I don’t like the rest. Yes, the H turns up to be OTT, possessive, jealous, alpha, bossy. Which I like. But I don’t like their past, nor some things they do.

For me… this is a 2.5 book. I don’t think I’ll be reading it again. Sorry.

Another dirty and sweet instalove gem from Jessa Kane! I look forward to her novellas and she is my sole one-click author at this point. This series is completely unrelated except for in theme so no need to read in order. This one has the Daddy-kink heat that most of JK's shorts do, and is age gap, dad's BFF too.

This was an OG Jessa writing style book! This Praise Me series has not been the spiciest, but my goodness did she deliver with this one! If you're looking for something quick, super smutty with daddy kink...look no further! This is the one. Whew, that was HOT!

Another awesome and spicy installment to the Praise Me series.

Pretty typical Jessa Kane story but there’s a heavier than usual lean into the daddy kink. No complaints but it was slightly cringy a few times but really it just made me chuckle.

Nothing makes me happier than when there is a new JK book release ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
