fantastic halloween/dark carnival novella!
I devoured this within hours and absolutely loved it! I was drawn to Nyssa and Thorne's relationship and immediately was behind them and wanting them to end up together!
I loved the siren and demon aspect of the book and loved the aspect of the circus. Viktor is a soul sucking POS! (hate that guy) but a perfect villain and found myself wanting to kick Voressa in the lady business!
such a great quick spicy/dark paranormal read!

This is my first book by Bonnie Snow that I have read and I was sucked in from the start. Decades old family curse, soul bonded, and demons.
Nyssa was trapped in a thousands of year old debt. She would never know happiness or true love. She was bound to be a slave to a Ringmaster. A vile man who never lasted long with his slaves. Nyssa spent so many years of her life, with the fear of what was coming her way. Her family tried to find ways out of it, but in order to protect her younger sister, she had to go without a fight.
Thorne is the son of the Ringmaster, and with his own past of hating his father, he had a plan to take over and finally free his mom, and take over the carnival and change it.
But Nyssa didn't expect Thorne, and Thorne didn't expect Nyssa. Their intrigued with each other, they feel a pull and neither understand why.
Thorne knows what is going to happen to Nyssa, he know's what is expected, and he knows her life span just got a lot shorter. When he finds out why he feels the way he does towards Nyssa, he vows that she will be his and that he will save her from his father.
Everyone has their own scheme going on. Time is running out as they only have 3 days before the Carnival is over.
Intended marriages. Take overs. Scheming. Shadow demons, Sin demons, and Sirens. A carnival full of demons and everyone has their own agendas.

I loved this story line. Nyssa starts off as a sweet siren who knows her fate is sealed and will be the property of the circus ringmaster Viktor. Viktor is a monster, but his son Thorne has learnt to supress his demons. Thorne is book boyfriend material, and his demons - Yes please take me now!
After Thorne tried with all his might to not be drawn to Nyssa, he is informed they are soul bound so he finally gives in and he and his demons take Nyssa and she eats it up.
I really hope there is more to this story i loved it so much. Highly recommend. Definitely a must read for the halloween season

What a great start to Halloween reads.
What more could you want at a magical carnival that only comes around every 10 years and stays for only 3 days, but Demons, Fae, Sirens, Magical Creatures.
Bonnie has bought this carnival to life so well i devoured this book.

This is one amazing story and Bonnie Snow is one incredible author. This is the story of Nyssa and Thorne. She's a siren and he's a demon. She must honor a debt owed to his father. As Nyssa and Thorne's story unfolds, the demons and other magical creatures come out to play. Do you dare come to the Carnival Of Shadows? I hope you enjoy reading this one as much as I did. I devoured it in one sitting and absolutely loved it.

Bonnie just knows how to write an amazingly detailed Paranormal Romance that is both easy to read and difficult to put down!
"If I could breathe fire, I knew I'd scorch this entire tent to the ground, burning everyone in my vision... except for him. I knew, without a shadow of a doubt, I'd never burn him."
I absolutely adored Nyssa and Thorne's story, and every character in the story was described so well that you can just picture them, from the vapid Voressa and the absolutely disgusting Viktor, to the caring and supportive Silla (who I hope gets her own story because she's interesting AF).
And that moment when he said "F*#k it" ... droolworthy!
The story was fast paced, the spice was just perfection, and the whole concept was fascinating! It was a great read! As always, check those trigger warnings before reading!
I can't wait until the next instalment in this series next Halloween, and see where the story goes!!!

My honest review of The Song that Binds is that this story will suck you in and have you truly on the edge of your seat. The elements that just all flow together. Their mayhem, talks about curses, demons, sirens, and circuses, dark magic. Get sucked into Bonnie’s world of darkness and fated mates, and you truly will not want to stop reading.
The main characters one is a shadow demon named Thorne, who is only trying to protect his family… well the only one who matters until he sees Nyssa his plans seems to start to crumble, or do they…?
Then their Nyssa who’s a siren and following her family’s curse and going to be with the ringmaster of the circus, he’s so mean. Then she meets Thorne the demons son. She just can’t keep her eyes off him.

I absolutely loved this book.
It was dark and twisty and everything I was hoping for from the moment I saw the cover.
Thorne is incredible. I love him. I want him. Thorne's demon. Just as incredible.
Nyssa is great and she harbours a nice juicy secret that had me grinning like a fiend.
The villains be villainy and deserved everything they got and more.
I can't wait to see this series expanded - I can only imagine what depravities will come next.

This was my first toe dipping into Paranormal and I loved it!
Theres a carnival coming to town, it’s been 10 years since it was last here….how exciting…unless you are a siren who has a debt to pay with her own life now she’s of age.
Thorne is to deliver her to his dad - she will be his pet and hopefully she lasts longer than any of the ones before….
So why is Thorne! and Nyssa being pulled together so strongly!
This is definitely worth the read and I’m so glad I took a chance!

Thorne is determined to break this vicious cycle and get his family out as well as nyssa. he doesn't want to be like his dad, he wants to get rid of him and change the carnival.

I absolutely loved this novella. This book has a siren, a demon shadow daddy, an intriguing plot, and spice. Every decade The Carnival of Shadows materializes for three days. During those three days the demons who run the carnival lure people in and collect them as pets. Viktor, the ringmaster comes to collect the first born daughter of a particular family that is indebted due to past generations. Viktor is known to be extremely cruel to his pet and they never live long. Unfortunately, he has come for Nyssa! I love Nyssa. She is definitely a fighter and will do anything to protect her family. The MMC is Thorne who just so happens to be Viktor's son and a shadow daddy demon. He wants to get rid of his evil father and he feels a pull towards the beautiful Siren his father has taken. Thorne is absolutely drool worthy and knows how to use those shadows! This book is a standalone within a series so it does have an ending. This story was amazing and I can't wait to see what happens in the next book.
