Maleficus

Rate this book
John Eves wouldn’t describe himself as a religious or particularly spiritual person. True, he was brought up in Liverpool and dragged to Church every Sunday as a child, with beliefs that stuck with him into adulthood. The only time you would see him venture into a church these days, would be to attend a Christening, wedding or a funeral.
Like so many, John felt he did not need to pray to the Lord to show him he was a good person; if he was up there, wherever “up there” was, he could see for himself. John would soon come to realise that there is more to these Christian teachings and rituals than meets the eye.
Nearly two thousand years ago, a man was crucified, a man many called Christ, who according to John’s beliefs gave his life to save mankind and conquer evil. Now history and religion tells us that where there is good, there is also evil. Evil that has watched mankind for the past two millennia. The Maleficus has grown strong over time and is ready, ready for the new millennium.
Little does he know it, but John Eves is the one best prepared to face the greatest threat to mankind since the Crucifixion. Does he have what it takes, is he ready?
Evil is ready, and its coming his way.
