Life in the settlement of Hope kept getting better by the day. Iris's talent with plants secured our food stores, and the boys from Loch Raven our safety. All we needed to worry about was improving our systems, like running water.
Except for one lingering the Druids. When their leader promised to destroy us, I decided that I wasn't going to stand there and wait for him. We decided to take the fight to him—to wipe out the Druids once and for all so we could finally experience peace. My hope was that our neighbors to the north could help us with this fight, with guns, bombs, anything at all. They had a few surprises for us, including some things I never would have expected.
Despite all this, I refused to let it bring me down. I made sure to keep my promise to take each of my girlfriends on a date, a real date. No matter what, even with war looming over our heads, I made sure to keep love and happiness alive. Those were two things that had to be preserved at any cost

Fun Read
I'm enjoying this series a great deal. It is well paced, with action, adventure and spicy parts. The mission to meet Jesse's dad goes well. He provides them with the weapons they need to take down the Druids. But it comes with a cost. I recommend reading the series!

Not an easy victory over the Druids but Hope needs to go on.

This is a good series
I enjoyed the series very much. Read it straight through. The MC was really well done. I loved how the MC’s family developed. Thank you to the author.
