After an uneventful summer, Chelsea Clark is back to blogging, as she prepares for her first year of college. Not only does Chelsea have to cope with living two hours away from her parents, but she has to adjust to living with a roommate, who isn't all too fond of her. On top of dealing with her headache of a roommate and the piles of schoolwork being thrown at her, Chelsea tries to repair the relationship between a few of her friends. But as she tries to put together the shambles of their friendships, Chelsea finds herself unintentionally backstabbing a few people and twisting the knife even further into their backs. Follow Chelsea's blog as she takes you through three weeks of betrayal, heartache, partying, lying, manipulation, and suspense in this sixth book of the "Anon." series.
Hello! My name is Diamond, and I'm obsessed with everything that has to do with The Sims! I currently have fun, teenage, drama-filled series filmed with The Sims 3 and 4!
I also write books based on these series, and you can find them at Amazon.
This entire book series is my greatest guilty pleasure. I'm usually one of those people who can't stand books with spelling and grammar errors, so much so that I can't read the book. This book, along with the others in the series contains many mistakes in both spelling and grammar, yet I adore it. I love the plot, the characters, the style if writing and the way that I can just read this book wherever, whenever. I'm not going to lie: this is not a well written book. If it were, it would certainly get a higher rating from me. However, this book makes me laugh, cry and even fall a little in love with the characters. I highly suggest that if you're a fan of the YouTube series, or if you like cheesy teenage romance novels and don't mind a few grammatical mistakes, you read this book. This series has got me hooked.
So, I have always been a huge fan of Diamond's books, so much so that I went ahead and purchased the one that was recently published in December 0f 2023 (currently sitting on my bookshelf as we speak). I had originally read this series when I was in high school, and I'm now well passed that and into my career. What I had always adored about these books, is that they are fun and easy reads. I can read this when I'm at work, when I'm at the gym, when I want to pick up something that's light and fluffy--this series is something that easily accomplishes that. Now that I'm older, and have experienced a lot of the same experiences the MC (Chelsea) has, I can firmly say that I don't agree with a lot of what Chelsea does. This was the book that definitely made me groan a lot, internally--but groan. It's hard to read about Chelsea's oh-so hard life and the obvious theatrics she pulls because she was only given a $100 allowance or because her best friend chose to not pay for her mani pedi. Reading a lot of the text felt super unrealistic because of how spoiled she is. There was also some really great points in the storyline that could've been enhanced and allowed for serious drama, but it felt like a lot of it was glossed over. However, what is nice is that we are seeing blog posts, so we are getting a stream of conscious perspective from Chelsea. Obviously, I love this series and I'm going to keep reading, but this one was one I was pretty stoked on finishing because of the newer entries that I remember loving.
I really love the whole Samantha/Roxy plot, the author has done a really good job in turning this book from a high school drama series into a murder/mystery book.
Some people might think this plot came out of left field, but I think it blended in with the story and brought a really interesting plot into the series without it being too far-fetched.

I do really like this series but I felt like this book was just too much for me. Chelsea seemed to be self centred which was annoying. The plot seemed overly dramatic, especially towards the end of the book. It was okay, didn't hate it but didn't love it either. Will still probably continue on with the series though.
