Good Girl or Bad Girl ...or a very Good Bad Girl?
Somehow I missed this early erotic twisted tale from Sloane Howell of what this young male protagonist wants in a woman. I am an unabashed fan of Mr. Howell's mainly because I find the occasional erotic tale written from a male perspective a decidedly different dish of "dirty".
This short novella juxtaposes the beautiful warm loving "vanilla" fiancee, Meredith, against the OTT Dominant fiendishly horny sex kitten, his new boss, Rebekah. Devyn our male hero falls from grace and partakes heartily of the charms of Rebekah written in wonderfully lurid detail. These descriptive scenes are not for the faint-hearted.
Is it love or is it just sex? What do you do when the sex is not equal to the love or the love not equal to the sex? Weighty questions not easily answered.

If you like dirty talking, hot sex scenes this is for you. Just be warned...no HEA and the storyline goes against what is social polite. An interesting read.

I love Sloane Howell, he is an amazing writer and a lovely bloke.
I personally have a love hate relationship with this book. I don't like Devyn or Rebeckah. I struggled to read it for that reason.

A very well written short story, or also called novella.
This was HOT and HOT and it was a little HOT!
The one thing I absolutely loved about this novella was the great female dominate lead in the story. Every female described in this story (two of them) were strong, independent women and I love that aspect of the story.
I've never read an erotic book when the male character was dominated by the female character, and I like the change in events! Even though I have never read something like this before, I still thought it was hot and rough and overall, sexy af.
Great writing for this short story. Some novellas or short stories written by some authors lack the story element, character development, and sometime emotion (when it's needed most). This novella had all of these elements and that's one of the reasons this was so great.
I hope there will be another addition to this story because that ending through me for a spin. There were some unanswered questions in the story, so hopefully another chapter will be added.
Overall I give 5 stars.

Devyn gets more than he expects when his dream job and ultimate corporate heroine dishes out more than he can take. He's not really a walk on the wild side kind a guy, but when faced with the opportunity his rational common sense side disappears. Rebekah Payne stands before him testing him down to his very core.
Sloane Howell's satire novella depicting the epitome of the Mad Men era role reversal is too good not to dive into. He's changed the game with Ms. Payne. She reigns her power both in the boardroom and the bedroom. Love the twists, power plays, and role reversals in this dirty little piece!

I really enjoyed this book. I can honestly say that Rebekah scared me. I have to say that she made the book for me.
Devyn is pretty darn hot and he is taking on way more than he chew.
This book will definitely keep your attention from start to finish. This book was not what I was expecting and that is a very good thing.
I had no idea that the book/ending would be the way it was. BUT I have to say that the ending shocked the *hit out of me!
I can't wait for book 2!

I love the author's writing style! He does it with a flair for the dramatic in a super sexy way! This story is shocking in many ways...I was expecting something entirely different. This is a roller coaster ride of emotions & dirty! Oh, boy! I do love a good story about a strong woman! Ms. Payne takes strong woman to a whole new level! There's love, mystery, murder, pleasure and Payne!

My first Sloane Howell book and definitely won't be my last. I found Rebekah to be incredibly intense and maybe a tad scary!! But this book was smoking hot.....I may need a cold shower now.
