It’s hard to say what turned me off but I’ll try. The book seemed messy and disjointed, and I think I just got exhausted trying to like it. It’s trying to be too much.
Maren should be the one holding the book together, but she’s all surface and clichés. And it’s so frustrating that they *all* keep doing stupid things. I couldn’t like or admire Maren, and the guys were just ok.
The premise is a really good one, but the story arc was disappointing.
If you want to read a terrific supernatural reverse harem, I highly recommend McGinty’s sparky, funny, sexy Dark River Days series. It starts with Newly Undead in Dark River. Now *those* are some guys I’d keep around.

Overall, this is a good series. There were parts that this didn’t connect well. And for being great outlaws, they did some dumb stuff. There is some disconnect between the characters and the third and fourth book and a lot of arguing amongst the group. And for being great outlaws and masterminds, you mean to tell me, they don’t have a backup plan or a safe house anywhere? And I felt like that plot against them kept going left then right left then right. and for being a shifter book, it was not your typical shifter story. They don’t seem to have a lot of shifter abilities like good hearing or good smell or mates. And then they talk about how she has some magic but they never clearly say what she is just that she can heal people so what is that? That could’ve been expanded better.

In fact, Rob- with his trust crossbow- is quite the fox.

And will they love her, as much as she learns to love them.

Wow. Such a good twisty tale.
First I just need to say this whole set of books needs to be reviewed and edited again. Books 1 and 2 are alright, but the last three have grammar errors and continuity errors - just tidy it up.
I loved the story. There's a lot of mystery and plotting, plus there's action and spice. This was a great way to spend the week between Christmas and New Year's Eve.

So I made the mistake of reading the omnibus/complete series which is 4 books -- and my need to finish a book (regardless of whether it is an omnibus or not) almost killed me.
I really enjoyed Captive of Thieves and Princess of Thieves but I was dragging myself to finish Queen of Rebels. Kings of Sherwood was super cute but I was so ready to finish this omnibus by the time that I got there. I would suggest reading the books separately instead of all together.

Great story
Throughly enjoyed the story. Interesting concept, characters and twists on the original Robinhood with lots of action. This book is for mature. adult readers due to the vivid sexual descriptions that are in the entire series. The story could have stood on it's own with less graphic descriptions.

A Fun Entertaining Worthwhile Series
This was an excellent modern day version of the classic Robin Hood. The only unanswered question for me was, did Maren recoup all of her inheritance or did that a-hole John squander all of it?

Dragged out to much could have been shorter I’m a avid reader but at times I got tired of their non sense to much sex where story could have been shorter & villans could have been dealt with

Fun take
This was a fun take on the Robin Hood tale. I liked the characters. The storyline was interesting and I just kept reading. Overall it was a good read.
