Just when it seems like things are starting to go well for Hiwatari, a clip of Takanashi at the Itsuboshi appreciation sale goes viral, turning the Dashing Zaddy into a pop-culture sensation overnight. While that's great for the company, Hiwatari now has to compete for Takanashi's attention and time…with the whole of Japan! When Takanashi's address is leaked to the paparazzi, he moves in with Hiwatari. Now that they're living under one roof, how can either of them deny their feelings for each other any more?

I enjoyed this volume quite a bit more than I did the previous volume. The story is really coming into its own and I love their dynamic and interactions.

Back up to 3.5 stars, and could've gotten to 4 if it just...took itself more seriously, I guess. The tone simply shifts back and forth too much and makes it difficult to keep a solid grasp on what the relationship development is supposed to be.
The beginning is pretty great - Takanashi accidentally becomes an overnight internet sensation and transitions into the face of the company. He takes it all in stride, particularly since the CEO basically tells him that it's a big stepping stone to taking over his role someday. But all the interviews and appearances and public sightings start to wear on him.
In the process, Takanashi begins to realize how much he really does rely on Hiwatari, whom he goes to for comfort when he's too exhausted to keep up appearances anymore.
Then, when the two of them are in a cab together and stop at Takanashi's place first, they discover that his home address has been leaked, and there's a mob of fans and reporters outside, and...
...instead of some really lovely scene where Takanashi gets overwhelmed and asked for Hiwatari's help, Hiwatari bodily grabs him around the waist from behind, tugs him back into the taxi, and then climbs on top of him while they're still in the cab, because he wants to keep Takanashi all to himself.
First problem here: remember how that was a crowd of reporters that Takanashi was engaging with as part of his public persona as the face of the company??? There's a mention later on about the "mysterious young guy" who'd grabbed him and run away with him, but that would be a way bigger deal if the story was keeping up with its own internal logic, of him being basically a big celebrity now, largely marketed to middle aged women who want to date him.
Second problem: what on earth, Hiwatari??? Wildly inappropriate: wrong place, wrong time, and just...in general, so confusing, because somehow that happens, and then they go back to pretending they're just platonically hanging out at Hiwatari's house while Takanashi looks for a new place to live.
It's so much hot and cold that it doesn't really make sense.
The kiss at the end of this volume - initiated by Takanashi, at the top of Tokyo Tower, symbolizing his own obsession with his ED, was a nice scene but feels kind of less impactful when you sprinkle in all these other moments.
I am feeling more chemistry in their relationship, though, and the story is progressing decently. I just wish Fumito had a more solid handle on the characters' arcs. It feels like it keeps sort of degrading into one of those joke-installment comics instead of a thoughtfully developed longform manga.

While Takanashi appears to have everything, he’s secretly struggling with ED… or is he? For some reason, his tools only work for Hiwatari! Just when he’s finally ready to face his feelings for Hiwatari, he suddenly goes viral. Now the accidentally hilarious duo are dealing with Takanashi becoming the face of their company, turning him into a local celebrity. How will Hiwatari deal with having to compete with all of Takanashi’s new fans taking up all his time?!
I’ve been enjoying this series, but it took me a bit to get into this one because Hiwatari becoming the face of their company took me straight out of the story for a bit. I wasn’t expected to get hit with some filler when it seemed like there was going to be another confession between the two of them. That said, I still enjoyed this volume. The shenanigans that occur due to Hiwatari’s new celebrity life was hilarious even though that plot point was kind of random.
I am excited to see how their relationship will continue to develop now that they’re officially taking the first step in that direction together. It’ll be interesting to see what crazy shenanigans are in their future because while this is a romance, it’s also a hilarious one at that! I gotta say that the shoe mix-up had me absolutely dying from laughter. I’ll be sure to check out the next volume as soon as the English translation is available!

Finally a kiss!
I love this series. I hope we get to see when Takanashi ( Dashing Zaddy) realizes who Hiwatari (Icy prince) was in the past. I understand with the name changes when he left to live with his grand parents is the reason why Takanashi doesn’t know. But why hasn’t Hiwatari said anything about his knowing his dad. It looks like it was 12 years ago. Takanashi finally realized his feelings at the end! I can’t wait for the next book come out. This was published in 2023 and getting translated. I hope we don’t have to wait long for it to be translated.

the best volume so far. this was way too funny and cute. i see many people don't like the premise, but i like how ridiculous it is. the story misses something, maybe it needs more volumes to build more. but i like how funny and cute it is. the characters mean a lot to this kind of story, they are not weird in any way, they are just silly and cute. i need more. and i am surprised this is kind of slow burn

Feelings have definitely formed on both ends, but will they ever get together. Who knows? I enjoyed the craze of the Silver Fox popularity, and they random funny/awkward moments happening at the house. I feel like I'm just being teased at this point and am ready for them to finally confess their feelings for each other.

I might be in a bit of a pickle here- literally and figuratively
Thank goodness for the ending cause I needed something to happen. I was a little over the will they won't honestly. But that ending SWOONNNN. I like both of them and I am glad the reason they were will they won't they wasn't cause they are both guys. I genuinely laughed at the elevator part. It was so funnnyyyy!

Still silly so that is a plus if you’re looking to dissociate. This is a read every now and then series because I think bingeing it makes the humor a bit too grating.

I loved the artwork and the crazy premise. also the cut aways to even crazier inter thoughts! it's just a silly feel good story. The main could couldn't be funnier too! Also I like how cool they made the zaddy when he isn't with the other lead.

With this volume we're back to the more silly and humorous feel of the first volume, with Zaddy needing to move in with his protege due to his fame blowing up so much on Twitter they find out his address. Good time, looking forward to the feelings that will be confronted next volume.

Sadly this is ridicules and not great. To be honest it's a bit over the top and rude to 40 year olds. Very unrealistic and no growth or real chemistry.

This was a really sweet one, where jealous and lack of time spent together, took up most of the story. But I really loved seeing how both sides dealt with this.
Also, this cliffhanger/edging....very mean author🥲, but this means I'm 100% picking vol.4 once it's out🧐
