Another well written and detailed story about our new favorite CIA operative, Grant Hunter. No spoilers so I will just say he finds himself, per usual, in some very tight situations. He has with him a great team of agents with whom the camaraderie flows naturally. Overall, a wonderful follow up to the first book that will keep you at the edge of your seat. I love that these books are written that, at least for myself, it’s like watching a movie on screen. I look forward to the next book in the series.

Deny Everything is a great follow-up to Admit Nothing in the Grant Hunter spy thriller series. The story goes in a totally different direction than the first book, but it keeps the same fast pace and intensity. It pulls you in right away and keeps you turning pages. The twists and turns keep you guessing, and you are constantly questioning who can actually be trusted. If you liked the first book, this one definitely delivers and raises the stakes even more.

Deny Everything takes everything that worked in Admit Nothing—tight pacing, credible tradecraft, and a protagonist with real edges—and turns the dial up. Grant Hunter isn’t a superhero; he’s competent, stubborn, and human, which makes the danger land harder and the decisions feel earned.

No muddy choreography. No “movie logic.” Lagos and the surrounding operational environment feel lived-in. The tension doesn’t come from gimmicks. It comes from consequences. By the time Grant Hunter becomes the hunted, you’re fully invested, and the book doesn’t let up.

If you like smart, fast spy thrillers with authentic texture, Clancy-level stakes with a modern, grounded feel, this one belongs at the top of your list.
