My Hexed Honeymoon: The Bridgewater Pack Series

Rate this book
This honeymoon is off to a terrible start.

Talia never wanted to wed werewolf, Diego, and the brand-new alpha certainly never wanted a witch for a mate—especially not one who hexed his pack. Between the spell bound vows and unbreakable contract requiring an heir bred with both magic and the ability to shift, the honeymoon is over before it even begins.

But when a vampire envoy crashes the wedding and issues an ultimatum, the “till death do we part” seems dangerously close. They want the Blood Loom, and only Talia can navigate the astral plane known as the Hollow to find it.

To retrieve the weapon and avoid war, Diego will have to help his new bride harness the magic he despises. And as sparks fly, Talia and Diego must learn to trust each other before the Hollow’s dark magic consumes them—along with the bond they thought they didn’t want but suddenly can’t live without.

⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

I struggled to get into the story at first and didn’t feel fully hooked until about 25% in—likely more my headspace than the book, since the writing is good, a bit descriptive early on, but ultimately an easy read.

I really liked the main characters, Natalia and Diego. Natalia’s situation broke my heart; her mother is genuinely awful, and the lifelong abuse she’s endured adds a lot of weight to her journey. Diego, on the other hand, carries his own trauma—his hatred of witches rooted in the destruction of his village years ago. Once they finally cement their mating bond, they’re sweet together, and I enjoyed seeing them team up against the baddies.

Overall, very readable and enjoyable.

Thanks for the ARC!

Natalia and Diego have an arranged marriage. Neither are very happy about this, but when the vampires show up and Natalia what she must do to stop a war she decides to help. Natalia, Diego and Riven set off to get the Blood Loom. Natalia and Diego are kept in the dark about the Blood Loom and other things. When Natalia retrieves the Blood Loom and Riven's true self shows. Natalia realizes the werewolves don't trust her and her own coven doesn't want her. She hopes that Diego will treat her good. Natalia shows what she is made of and Diego shows what kind of guy he is. This was a good book!
