Geri Cohen Biddy is an author, storyteller, and speaker whose work blends lyrical prose, raw vulnerability, and unapologetic truth. Drawing from over two decades of life experiences, she writes with the kind of honesty that resonates long after the last page. Her debut memoir, Muse: Brown Skin – A Dangerous Kind of Love, is a poetic, sensual exploration of passion, heartbreak, identity, and self-worth.

Geri’s voice has roots in both her career as an accountant and her years of connecting with audiences through social media, podcasts, and public speaking. She is known for creating intimate, relatable narratives that invite readers into the most tender and unguarded corners of her life.

When she’s not writing, Geri enjoys curating playlists, diving into Black romance stories, and building community with readers who crave authentic, soul-stirring storytelling. She currently lives in West Virginia with her family.

I love how transparent the author is. There is something to learn in this story, even if you haven’t been through these experiences - you more than likely know someone who has. Real love requires intention!

This book was everything! Get ready to check your emotions. Pull out your old journals and let the therapy begin. I jumped into this book like nobody's business. Every page every word every time she headed up the highway to get to Brown Skin I was there shaking my head. What a great read 📚

Your book is truly captivating, I'm completely absorbed in it. The love you've written about is so beautifully portrayed, it's a truly unique experience. I’ve related to the Muse in so much ways it’s like I’m living her story. This book taught me that love requires more than just moments it requires intention and patience and to just be chosen by your person.

“Some connections don’t ask for your permission. They arrive unannounced rewrite your rules and make you remember what feels like to be wanted.”
I felt that in my heart.

“You can’t choose someone who has already chosen something else.”
It’s been a long time since a book has spoken to my heart and my soul. Thank you 😊
