Wrong Cabin, Right Mountain Man

Rate this book
Wrong cabin. Wrong timing. Right man.

I haven't let anyone close in four years.
My ranger station is my sanctuary—quiet, controlled, safe.
Then she breaks into my kitchen, fills my house with the smell of short ribs, and looks at me like I'm not broken.

Three days.
That's all it takes to fall completely.

I drove four hours for a blind date only to end up at the wrong cabin.
Now I'm trapped in a blizzard with a grumpy, gorgeous stranger who makes me feel things I swore I'd never feel again. Not after my ex-husband spent three years convincing me I was "too much."

But Finn is different.
He looks at me like I'm exactly enough.
But I've been wrong before.

He's ready to risk everything. She's terrified to trust again. And when the storm clears, they'll both have to decide—was this real, or just the blizzard talking?

A grumpy-sunshine forced proximity romance featuring a protective mountain man hero and a heroine who's done shrinking herself for anyone.

Snowed in by fate!

As always this book by Liz was a perfect read. Her writing was tender yet held nothing back when telling the fears and insecurities faced by the characters. Marcella and Finn had deep rooted issues that Liz wrote about with honesty and sensitivity and in a way that made the characters real. I ugly cried along with Marcella in that hotel and rejoiced with Finn when he went after her. This book gave me all the feels and then some!

Wrong Cabin , Right Mountain Man !!!⭐️Grumpy x Sunshine ⭐️Forced Proximity ⭐️Happily Ever After and Valentine Romance Oh my gosh , I definitely was not prepared for the emotional rollercoaster of a journey I was just taken on . Both Marcelo and Flynn were such likable and relatable characters, both extremely flawed and to say that they definitely had many issues and obstacles to work through would definitely be a huge understatement. The vulnerabilities and complexities of their characters , the way they both helped each other face their fears truly so beautiful and so very emotional. Add into that the. Angst and the humor and the witty banter , the moments that will pull on all your heartstrings and have you crying ugly tears and then the other moments that will have you smiling, laughing out loud and cheering so freaking hard . I could not have loved a journey more than I did this one .

This is Marcella and Finn’s story.
Marcella wants a fresh start, and is ready to date again, while Finn lives a quiet life in solitude. When Marcella’s best friend convinces her that a blind date will be perfect, but Marcella goes to the wrong address and ends up stranded with Finn at his cabin due to a blizzard.
This is a well written easy to read, emotional roller coaster, with friendships, angst, grumpy / sunshine, forced proximity, opposites attract, trust issues, humour, witty banter, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining Valentine romance.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Wrong Cabin, Right Mountain Man is part of the Date Night In The Mountains Series.

These two meet on an unforgettable mixup. Marcella is getting ready for a Valentine's dinner date at the cabin and is eagerly prepping dinner. When her date shows up, they find out she is in the wrong cabin. However, a snow storm strands them together and this might just be the saving grace Marcella needed to get back into the dating scene.

I loved Finn. He was such an enjoyable character, even if he was a little grumpy. These two worked well together and both came more out of their shell around the other. Good read.

This is my first time reading this author, and I definitely will be reading more from her! Marcella‘s best friend convince her after her divorce to hit the dating scene again. She sets her up with a guy and they are supposed to meet at a secluded cabin. Marcella goes to the wrong address and is surprised by Finn. Finn is a vet that suffers from PTSD and just wants his solitude. Before Marcella can leave they get stranded together when a blizzard hits the cabin. What will Finn do when he just wants his solitude and Marcella breaks it with her chatty and sunshiny personality?

Ready for what you'll want to be a one-sitting trip?

I love the mountains, and I think Ms. Durano is going to have you liking them, perhaps loving them too!

Both characters were done so well!

There was emotion, to tears, and then snort laughing!

The dialogue was just fantastic!

Loved it!
