She is a prolific reader, book collector, and writer with an interest in all aspects of art including sewing, painting, sculpting, jewelry design, soapmaking, and various other hobbies. After spending nearly a decade working on her degrees in forensic sciences, abnormal behavioral science, and neurological psychology with the prospect of joining the FBI ViCAP unit, Amanda's health took a turn for the worse. Daily struggles with her medical issues hasn't stopped her from pursuing her childhood aspirations to become an author. She currently lives with her spouse (Kris), her son, and their menagerie in the mountains of Northern Alabama. Leanne writes non-fiction books as well as fictional novels. Her non-fiction books delve into topics such as medical conditions, true crime, lifestyles, and crafting. Her fictional stories delve into mystery, thrillers, eerie tales, science fiction, and paranormal worlds.
A TV show that is set up like Survivor is the perfect setting for a final girl book. I really liked getting to know each of the different girls. And I thought the premise of the book and the show was very interesting as well. I loved the tension in the story as well. I’m looking forward to reading other works by this other.

‘She was a fighter, a survivor. She always had been. Her whole life was one fight after another and she had made it through all of them.’
This novella had me gripped! A cross between Survivor, Lord of the Flies, Lost and The Beach… this short story had so many twists and turns that it could easily be a novel or tv show itself! A part of the final girls collection, it kept me in suspense right till the finale… but no spoilers! Thanks to Amanda for the ARC/opportunity to read this.
I was lucky enough to get an ARC of Sirens of Survival.
This was my first read from Amanda Leanne and I enjoyed her writing style.
SOS follows the final contestants on an island game show. As time passes, the game doesn't seem to be following the rules put in place. Things have become seriously dangerous and they aren't prepared.
A deadlier version of survivor. When contestants started to go missing, I was rather confused at first, but then I understood what was happening and was shocked. I have to say I would agree with Beth’s final statement, I don’t know that I want to be the loan survivor.

This is a part of Fight Like Girls short story collection. SOS was a great read, a quick read. It interesting storyline that had me wanting to know what was gonna happen next. I’ll be looking to see what else this author has written.
*ARC Review* I really enjoyed this short story, and loved the survivor meets scream elements . It also kept me intrigued and guessing how it would end the whole time.
ARC READER. O f the 3 books I got this was the best one! Felt like survivor meets hunger games! It was very entertaining and I read it very quickly! Thanks again!
What can I say? I think this story just made me a fan of reality TV. I had no idea where this thing was headed, and I loved it! It's not often that I get blindsided by a book, but this one did it. It's one of the best horror stories that I've read in a long time!
What better way to start with high tension that can only grow than by diving into a reality show? Beth and four other women are the 'final five' and the show is about to get real.
True seclusion, well about as much as on any reality show--there are packs of MREs and water bottles just off screen! -- and a few tasks are all that separates the winner from millions of dollars. But of course, things are not as they appear.
One woman goes missing, another is found dead, then another... The tasks have never been that difficult, so what has suddenly changed?
The characters were really well fleshed out and never felt like I was going to mix up who was who. The not-so-deserted island became a character of its own and I HAD to know what was going on.
If you've ever fantasized about being on a reality show, this one's for you. Though, it may change your mind about signing up.
This was a fun novella to read and it kept me interested from start to finish. I enjoyed trying to figure out 'whodunit' or if it was all a trick. There's a nice twist to this story that I didn't see coming.
