A girl in her underwear introduced herself to the clean-cut four-eyed Zavier Coin, grabbing his hand and making him blush - and life, as he knew it, would never be the same. Dark hair, black ensembles, badass tattoos, and sporting the perpetual smirk – Evelyn Jo is the ultimate bad girl. She does what she wants, whenever and wherever, and relishes defying authority. A real badass chick.
Zavier Coin, on the other hand, is the perfect good boy. He's nice, loves his mom, gets really good grades, a teacher's pet, and a member of the Mathletes club. They are polar opposites and would probably have never met but for a wrecked car, a school fire, a vindictive authority figure, and a funny twist of fate which landed Evelyn in the Coin home.
But do opposites really attract? And will friendship and love really beat all odds when faced with psycho bad boys, clueless buzzkill adults, and other seemingly insurmountable odds?
Will the bad girl and the good boy get along, become good friends, and perhaps… become something more?
Born in Mexico in 1996, Karla's dream has always been to become an author and direct her own books into movies. She prefers staying inside to create a better world and likes to pretend her characters are real people.
Music is her life, her obsessions are beanies and jolly ranchers, and she hopes to inspire people with her writing and make them happy.
I read this book on Wattpad and honestly this is one of my favorites. Sure it sounds like a reverse cliche but its more than just that. The characters have many layers to them. I suggest you give this book a try.
I read this book on Wattpad a little while ago and I'm going to be honest, at first I thought I wasn't going to like it. Before I started reading it I thought it would be sickeningly cliché, and it was cliché, but it was a twist on a cliché if that makes sense O_o :) It was different and it really made me laugh (thanks to this book my family think I'm weirder than I am) and I was crying so much at some points. I loved Evelyn, she didn't really change for her man, she just got her act together. Hey, who doesn't love a badass? Awww, her teddy bear as well :') I highly recommend this book and I'd like to congratulate the author on getting it published :) peace out motherf*ckers ✌
I peered over my friend's shoulder as she was on her phone in order to see what had captured her attention so tightly one day. On her screen was this book, off of Wattpad, and when I asked her what she was reading, she wouldn't answer me. Honestly, I don't think she even knew anyone was talking to her, she was so engrossed. She was reading this book, and then I ended up reading and falling in love with it as well. The title made is sound slightly cliché at first, but it was a good kind of cliché, if you know what I mean. I highly recommend you read this book, it makes me smile every time I think about it.
Seriously, this was terrible. I don't even know how to describe it's badness. I have no idea where all the amazing reviews are coming from, but it feels like this book is written by a giggling 13 year old. The constant repeated words, ridiculous nicknames, and the blushing OMG it was like "thoughtless" all over again, except it's longer! Yes imagine that, it's longer. Thoughtless is also well written as annoying as it was, this "work of art" isn't anywhere that good. It may be appearing to other 13 year old girls, but I couldn't handle it. I don't have that much time to waste.
It was absolutely beautiful. With the mediocre cover, I didn't expect much. But boy, was I surprised. It is very rare for a long book to keep me interested, so I normally opt for the shorter ones however despite having around 690 pages it truly kept me captivated and hooked.
I would recommend this book to anyone who wants endless laughs, risks and romance.
absolutely amazing. the contrast of the 2 main characters are perfect. Zavier's nerd personality is so cute compared to Eveleyn's badass one. I freaking love it. So many plot twists. Just absolutely great. So original.
I read this on Wattpad and I can just say, it was and still is one of the best books I've read in my entire life. And that's a lot of books. It's so compelling and such a page turner. I've read it before yet I'm still going to buy the book, that's how good it is.
Yeah, I said it. But don't misunderstand me, I really enjoy this read! Ms. Luna's enthralling storytelling had me turning page after page. The title drew me in considering, it's always bad boy, good girl that gets center stage lately. The central characters and their counterpart s as well as really good plot and the ease with which Ms. Luna "speaks" to her audience. If you are looking for a good and a lovely story to get lost in, The bad Girl and Good Boy is a treat.
It was amazing it was so refreshing to read a story that wasnt a bad boy good girl story. Even though you knew that they would end up together there was still aome parts of the story that made me think that they wouldnt be together and that made me want to punch a wall or something.Over all the book was amazing and I would definitely read it again!!!!
Mispronounced around too much for me. And I did not care for her writing style. Like how a character would talk. It just didn't sound like stuff people would say.
21 procent gelezen. Het was nogal langdradig. En blijkbaar is het een leestijd van ongeveer 5u? Wow! Kwam dit van Wattpad ofzo? Geen zin meer in. En hij was niet schattig, maar ongemakkelijk...
Okay let's just first say that it had been a while since I had read such a thick book. I mean, normally I read books that has like 200 pages, this one though, was different.
And I was kind of afraid that I wouldn't be able to finish it. But I read it in one day!
I simply loved it, it was a long story, but that didn't matter, I had a feeling that everything tat happened was necessary to happen. And I love those writers who can figure that out!
It was just awesome.
He's a nerd who can't look at a girl without turning into a tomato. She's the bad girl who isn't stupid but just hates school, and this, this is her last chance.
She needs to go living with a woman called Stomry. She has a son though, a son who could be an example for all the other boys. And that's the weird thing, he isn't the perfect son, they are both far away from perfect.
But they make each other perfect, even though that they know that they don't need to be perfect. She has a few (male) friends back home, so she's adjusted to being around boys. And she has no shame. She meets Zavier in her underwear. And yes, it made a good impression.
They go through a lot, but in the end;.. They fall in love, but they're still young. And that means that the grown-ups need to participate in the story, and Stormy kind of all messes it up.
It sucked, but it was awesome.
I give his book 5 deserved stars, can't wait to read the freebies!!
This book is like nothing before. It's creative, a new chance to read from two very unlikely perspectives from two innovative characters who meet and fall in love. Meet Evelyn Jo, a spiteful yet sexy and rebellious young teenager who ends up in trouble and relocated to live with the Coin family. Where she ends up meeting young introverted yet intelligent young man who has the mussels of a jock but the heart of a child. Slowly these two teens come across many incidents where they are constantly being tested on their true feelings for each other. Can Zavier Coin pull enough courage to bring himself to speak to Evelyn Jo and tell her his true feelings? Can Evelyn leave all her troubles and finally fall in love with the shy but handsome Zavior Coin? Find out and read the exciting and thrilling book The Bad Girl And The Good Boy and find out!
I'm giving this book two stars only because of the potencial that it had and the idea of portraying a true shy, introvert and self conscious boy who took baby steps and time to become a more confident and outgoing person, without changing into another complete different person or going from the shy guy to a sex god in three chapters. Growing up doesn't mean becoming another person all at once but a better version of yourself with all the experience that sometimes only time can give you, I'm glad that it was what happened with Evelyn, and it's a powerfull message in the book. Overall I think this book could be a good one if rewriten with more care, with more plots and less repeated words, if it dived further into more complex definitions and explanations and were edited with more reflection.
Quick summary: Evelyn Jo is the ultimate bad girl, she’s broken major laws, played boys like a game, done plenty of drugs, and is covered in tattoos and piercings. Meanwhile, Zavier Coin is the classic good boy, he’s never broken a rule, has zero experience with girls, and hates anything to do with drugs or needles. When they’re forced to live together for a year sparks start flying.
I loved the dynamic between Evelyn and Zavier, their total opposites thing makes for some hilarious and intense moments. Evelyn’s rebellious attitude and Zavier’s sweet, cautious personality create so much tension that I was dying to see what would happen next.
I loved this book. I highly recommend so pls read it
I first saw this book on wattpad I thought I wouldn't like this book, because it was the bad GIRL not the bad BOY. I thought this book was going to be so weird and awkward, but I love this book so much. It was different and Ioved it. It was so detailed and it was very well written. I read this book til the end and I still want to buy it. It is amazing and I recommend this book for people to get. This is one of my favorite books on wattpad and it makes me want to read more and I'm not a big fan of reading, so Karla if you ever read this congratulations on your book your work is amazing.
i read this book at wattpad and was half way in reading the book, even though the title of the books not very attractive, but the contents of the book really catching people's attention. at first i thought that the books will be boring because the title seems so cliche, but when i read the book, it really drew my attention and makes me fall in love with the book. even though there is still a little bit grammar mistake, but over all the content was okay and the story also very interesting to read. i suggest you read the book also, or you will regret.
I've read this book on Wattpad, and I have to say that I first thought it was very cheesy and cliché. I mean, there are enough books with complete opposites falling in love. But in this I was very pleasantly surprised. The book is full of action and I find it most important that the book is also about other things than only the romance. I absolutely loved this book and I can't wait to buy the paperback!
