Marc Guggenheim grew up on Long Island, New York, and earned his law degree from Boston University. After over four years in practice, he left law to pursue a career in television.

Today, Guggenheim is an Emmy Award–winning writer who writes for multiple mediums including television, film, video games, comic books, and new media. His work includes projects for such popular franchises as Percy Jackson, Star Wars, Call of Duty, Star Trek, and Planet of the Apes.

Guggenheim currently lives in Encino, California, with his wife, two daughters, and a handful of pets.

I enjoyed thus book more than the first volume. The artwork is awesome. The story is good as well. It is also a bit more action packed than the first volume as well.

First dealing with the fallout from the first volume. Hard decisions need to be made. Then Wolverine and Spider-man are pulled into another dimension, where a familiar killer is on the loose, who has a thing for killing Wolverine, Spider-man and their loved ones. However how far is Spider-man willing to go to stop him.

A good book. It actually made want to read volume 3 when it comes out. I a lot of interesting things have come out of this series I am wondering things will carry into their own individual series or in volume 3. The book finishes with a variant cover gallery.

Given that I was into but not in love with the first five issues of this, I’m really pleasantly surprised by how much I liked the end of this run. In hindsight, Parker and Logan make a perfect pairing — if you want to get rid of Logan/Deadpool’s manic fourth wall breaking and reduce it down to a goofiness with heart, I think you get this run’s pairing. I was caught off guard by how good the dialogue generally was — a really revealing series of exchanges take Logan’s isolation and opens up Parker’s own tendency to quip as a means of coping with his sense of always being too close to failing everything all at once. The antagonist in this was fun and made for some really horrifying and compelling fights, and while I could have enjoyed more time with some of this alternate reality hybrid figures, I can also appreciate the leanness and focus of this run. Hoping for more of this in the future!

This had the same problems as the first one but was worse. Most of the villains on the cover didn’t even show up in the book even after the whole “let’s get them” cliffhanger at the end of the last one. The villain was just a mix of Spider-Man and Wolverine and was on a team of other just mixed up heroes so that seemed a little lazy. Still fun to see the team up but that was literally all that this one had going for it.

This tale's bit gimmicky for my taste. And I don't get what Dreadshadow has to do with Arachnix, considering they're from two different universes with no shared connection except a mutual hatred for our favorite webslinger and the Canucklehead. In short, this comic's story's got a plot hole or two in it.

Still, it's nice to see Parker and Logan playing so well together. Maybe someone should an animated series or something...

This was so good! Arachnix was an awesome character and I’m glad Marvel is editorial let Marc run with the idea. The art was also really cool, definitely haven’t seen the style before but still sick nonetheless. I really wish this wasn’t canceled after only 10 issues but the “The End. (For Now)” gives me hope that this series and its team could come back in the future!

Just like volume 1 this is forgetable but fun. The art is great in the way it tries to tap into Tod McFarlane vibes but I feel like the Mariko Yashida/Wolverine reunion was sort of wasted on this story.

It’s got a lot of things that work totally for me : multiverse, amalgam versions of characters, fun and emotional moments. Too bad Kate Andrew’s drew only two stories but that’s a minor complaint. It’s a really fun filled book with plenty of good ideas. It may be better than the first one imho.
