Sparks fly between the handsome descendant of a snow spirit and the oblivious coworker he has a crush on! A romantic comedy in an office setting that takes coworkers to lovers to new heights within a winter wonderland of emotions!
As winter gives way to warmer months, the snow melts... Himuro and Fuyutsuki are ready to take the next big step in their meeting the family! Fuyutsuki introduces Himuro to her cousin during a festival, and they make plans to visit Himuro’s ailing grandmother. Fuyutsuki can’t wait to see where he grew up and to possibly meet a real snow spirit in the flesh, yet Himuro seems nervous for some reason. Will the two of them survive this avalanche of a family reunion, or will it be a freefall down a snowy, slippery slope?
The night I read this I received some extremely bad news that had me struggling with anxiety, and deeply appreciated the calmness and fun of this volume! It was exactly what I needed to help feel grounded and not focus on the news I had received!
I was absolutely thrilled that we got to meet family members from both our leads families! It was fun seeing how each member we met be VERY different then the lead, but also to hear about how our leads used to be. (Or in Himuro's case, some lore concerning snow spirits and how that affected the member we met. That was fascinating!)
The "developments" with Otonashi had me squealing!! Thank you Yukimin for being the person to help open her eyes!! I'm SO hoping something does indeed happen!
Also speaking of Yukimin, I had to laugh about what the cafe owner said concerning her and a certain somebody because YES! I'm happy with how things are, but I also can't stop myself from wanting more! LOL!
The chapter with Sakuba was surprisingly heartfelt! I was very happy with how Fuyutsuki came right out saying she trusted Himuro, but also that she had a better idea of what Sakuba was feeling. You go girl, and excited to see more of him in future volumes!
Definitely another fantastic volume, and hope we do get another one soon!
A full five stars for the content that we get, but I’m docking this half a star for the amount of content (not a lot). Given that these are running $15/book now, making them so short and not even including author notes or anything extra at all is kind of pushing it. (I especially love author notes and sidebars and am always a little disappointed when they’re not included.) This volume contains several pages after the last chapter that are completely blank save for the series title. Like—give us *something* there, dudes. I’d take adverts for other series, even, over this complete nothing burger. Meh.
If my spouse hadn’t surprised me with a set of these for a holiday gift, I would probably have continued to just borrow them from the library for that reason.
I will say that (previously stated objections aside) the volumes look gorgeous, with great paper and are sized to really show off the fantastic artwork. So that’s something!

This manga focused more on the side characters, while our main couple meets some family members. Himuro and Fuyutsuki meet her cousin and his grandmother - both were rather precious. And then we got some random adventures of Himuro's sister and her friend going to the same cafe (mostly from the cafe owner's perspective). We also got Saejima and the fox gal (I forgot her name) going on dates. Lastly, Otonashi and Katori discussing their feelings a smidge ~ which was a bit of a shocker. All in all, it was a solid volume. You can tell the core relationship is heading toward its final stages, and I'm okay with that! I still love the cast of characters.
I really like this series and even though the wait for this volume was so long it didn’t disappoint. The story and art were adorable as always. This is also one of the few series that I can say I like all of the characters, including side characters. The waiter might be my favorite one yet.
That being said the price for this tiny volume is ridiculous. I justify it by saying the art is so beautiful it could also be enjoyed as an art-book.
I really do love this series and recommend it to anyone, like myself that has a weak spot for office romance stories.
The main couple is still progressing, not so much at a glacial pace, but still pretty slow.
There's just so many side couples, it's hard to develop them all at the same rate.
Still cute, still low angst.
Recap: Meeting her younger cousin, realizing Phoenix has feelings for her and accepting, Himuro's little sister and her manager guy, succubus character and friendship, visiting Himuro's grandma who has 50 lovers lol, bonus of Himuro's birthday.
It's been 11 volumes and they still haven't kissed? And all the chapters are short, cliche and have major high school vibes. They're supposed to be adults, but the character development has plateaued.
Very sweet installment! I like seeing a little bit from each of the couples, though due to the switching around I do wish these volumes were longer. I thought everything was enjoyable, but nothing super standout in this one.
OMG!!! Another freaking adorable cute volume! I loved every chapter and laughed out loud so many times. Now I can't wait for the next volume for Otonashi and Katori.
