There should be more books like this one. Aimed at the novice/hobbyist 3D designer, it walks through how to construct 20 different designs for 3D printed objects, using simple operations available in most CAD applications.
I like this book as an idea book: a set of concrete examples of 3D printed things, with accompanying descriptions of how they were created.
