A Much Needed Holiday

Rate this book
A CHRISTMAS ANGEL

For Kate Warren, Christmas was a time of indifferent parents and empty feelings. So when she saw the beautiful child lost among the holiday shoppers, she vowed to give the neglectful parent a piece of her mind.

But she was unprepared for devastating Trace Sinclair. He was San Antonio's leading neurosurgeon, and he'd brought his daughter north to visit her loving grandmother--and unloving mother. Convinced that his wife's desertion had cured him of ever needing another woman, Trace was unprepared to lose his soul in Kate's smoldering eyes. But what began as a contest of wills became a victory for love, giving their hungry hearts a much needed holiday.

This was a nice sweet read. h/H meet when the heroine finds his daughter lost in a mall. She thinks he is an absent father, he isn't too pleased to see her either but they spend time together. The hero is a surgeon and single father and is bitter about women since his ex fooled him and only married him for the prestige his job brings. The heroine having grown up in an emotionally cold family wants marriage and kids. They form a bond. They start seeing each other long-distance, h wants more, H still afraid. Eventually hero comes to see that he can't live without her.
