Getting to meet Rory Fairall reminds me of just how stubborn I can be when I've jumped to a conclusion or how well I can place my foot in my mouth at the worst moment. As a result, I found Rory's meet-cute entirely too relatable. From there, it can only go up, right? Thankfully, her interactions with Aidan become much less awkward over time as they keep running into each other and discover that their family paths may be connected. Taking us to grand castles and charming bookshops, I appreciate that Carolyn Miller has the ability to transport us to so many wonderful locations in Ireland. I could picture the luxurious Castle Griffin Hotel and hear the lilting voices of Rory's mom and Aidan's grandmother in reading along.

Combining tense interactions with a mystery to be untangled, Rory and Aidan can't rely on themselves and need to turn to God. It is refreshing that they continue to trust in Him when it's a conundrum that isn't easily solved. Despite finding themselves in confusing circumstances, I appreciate that the characters are able to look past first impressions and that their hearts remain soft toward what God might want for them. If you are looking for an Irish adventure involving fun mix-ups, legal questions, and a dash of heroism, An Irish Kiss delivers on faithful love and heartfelt family interactions.

What a sweet story! I enjoyed discovering that this story was about one of the Fairall sisters. We met Colin Fairall in The Lost Daughter’s Irishman and now it is time for Aurora, also known as Rory, to find her happily ever after. It is not at all necessary to have read The Lost Daughter’s Irishman to enjoy reading An Irish Kiss.

There was definitely some instant attraction between Rory and Aiden, yet complications arose when they found themselves on opposite sides surrounding the history of the ownership of Rory’s family castle. It was hard to imagine how things were going to play out without someone getting hurt.

I appreciated the solid faith message throughout this story. Aiden and Rory had to rely on and trust in God to bring them through the various things that could hinder the growth of a relationship between them. They definitely had to give their fears to God and trust that He brought them together for a purpose.

Sweet story of an Irish gal that instantly was both fond of and irritated by an Aussie guest at her family’s Irish castle hotel. It made me laugh as I was also fond of but very irritated by the man that became my husband, when I first met him. I enjoyed this story and would recommend it.

Filled with all the Irish charm you could expect from Carolyn Miller. She hasn’t disappointed with this gorgeous story about Aurora, a flame haired Irish girl, and Aiden, an Aussie lawyer with dreams of an ancient Irish legacy of his own.
Throw in a family trait of “Insta-love” from Aurora’s Fairall family and you definitely have the recipe for an intriguing romance that has the promise of “happy ever after” despite Aiden’s search for his ancestral heritage and Rory’s own quest to validate her own family history. Their interaction and reliance on guidance from God is an integral part of their story
The tender moments between these two are a delight and their initial prickly interactions only add to the culmination of resolving their family histories with a very satisfactory conclusion. Aurora Fairall is passionate about Ireland, her bookstore job, and working at the family castle that is now a boutique hotel. She wonders if she will ever find love. Aidan Quinn travels from Australia to investigate the rumors of a castle lost in his family history. The two are brought to together, but how do you reconcile loving someone who wants to take away your home?

This is a wonderful start to a new series. I loved visiting Ireland and learning about its history and touring the country with Aidan and Rory. They were very engaging characters with good chemistry, banter, and the ability to work through obstacles. It was a pleasure to meet both of their families and I loved how they were integrated into the story. Rory’s sister, Aisling, was so endearing and I look forward to reading her story next.

This is a great read with good romance, faith, and takes place in the incredible setting of Ireland. I loved touring the castle and villages, getting to know the Fairall family, and look forward to the next book in the series. I highly recommend An Irish Kiss by Carolyn Miller.

An Irish Kiss is the first book I have read written by Carolyn Miller, and it was such a delight. This book was the perfect book for those who love Hallmark movies, castles, Irish views, funny meet-cutes, swoony moments, and faith.

The character development throughout this book is good. I loved watching Rory learn that she shouldn’t just jump to conclusions. While also learning to turn to and trust God. Aidan is on a journey to uncover the past. Trying to figure out the truth, but also finding himself falling for Rory. So, while hoping for a different outcome, Aidan also wants to maintain a relationship. It was also great seeing their faith as well.

The setting is perfection. Being in Ireland was such a great place to be, but adding in a castle made it truly perfect. The storyline was entertaining. Rory is working multiple jobs, one of them being at her family’s castle-made hotel. Where she mistakes Aidan for a trespasser, then finds out he is a guest. Rory keeps jumping to conclusions and getting herself in trouble. Aidan is an Australian who is on an investigative trip to see if the land the hotel/castle is on belongs to his family.

Enemies-to-lovers, opposites-attract romance is perfection, sweet and kisses-only romance.

Carolyn Miller did a great job of intertwining faith throughout the book. The scripture the pastor is reading, Philippians 4:6-7, truly met me where I was at this week and made me stop and read the passage. I love when Christian fiction does that and meets you at a deeper level. God’s word is live and will meet us where we are.

This sweet romance is set in a castle in Ireland owned by the family of feisty Aurora Fairall. Aidan Quinn from Australia comes to town to seek the truth about the castle ruins on another part of the Fairall land that might not be theirs.

An Irish Kiss is the first book in the Fairall Romance Legacy series. The legacy is falling in love instantly. But until now, only men have been known to do so. Is it possible the Fairall ladies might instantly fall as well?

I enjoyed everything about this book - the setting is beautiful, the characters are likable, and the dialogue is believable and occasionally snarky. The Fairall family is not perfect, and some relationships are complicated like most families. But they love each other, protect each other, correct each other, and apologize when they are wrong.

Overall, this is a fun read and a great start to the series. I would recommend it to clean romance readers.

This is Christian fiction so expect prayer and discussions of faith.

An Irish Kiss by Carolyn Miller will whet your appetite for modern romance filled with castles, legends, and sweet kisses. Rory is spirited and determined to help her family legacy survive the modern challenges of maintaining an old castle. When Aiden arrives, Rory feels an immediate tug and pull in her heart. Aiden is just as captivated until he realizes his reason for being there goes against the very one that he is being drawn to. Once they are finally able to have a civil conversation, I appreciated their desire to trust God and His will and His timing. Rory was fiercely protective, and I was a little surprised and impressed by Aiden being willing to hear her out and spend time with her. He’s such a nice guy and I felt bad for him taking the brunt of Rory’s hurt and anger. It ended up being a great testament to his character. Once all the walls were down, I loved Aiden’s pursuit of Rory and his frequent reminders to not get lost in the details but to trust God in each step. The ending had about the best outcome possible to make a way forward for all the characters and I find myself looking forward to the other sibling’s stories.

When the reserved guest seems to be digging for more than the typical tourists claiming a family connection to the area, but a possible ownership of Auroras family property, their delicate friendship, research efforts and her flickering reaction to him make the two inseparable.
Aidan is on a mission from his grandmother to see if her family is indeed the rightful owners of Castle Griffin Hotel. Though not wanting to disappoint his grandmother that has suffered along with him through a tragic family history, he is enjoying his time with the shrewd, red-haired beauty he is taken with. The enjoy the time spent together while investigating the truth but has each wondering about their relationship and the consequences of what they uncover.

I can’t resist a good romance set in Ireland and this one is excellent! Miller does a wonderful job bringing the Irish ambience to life in this enemies to more romance with a most unfortunate meet-cute (which means tons of fun!)

Rory and Aiden get off on the wrong foot (mostly Rory’s fault…well, all Rory’s fault actually) but even so she experiences the sizzling zing of family legend that is supposed to signify true love when she first lays eyes on Aiden. If you believed in that sort of thing and if you hadn’t muddled up introductions which Rory had. Her incorrigible sister doesn’t let her wallow in embarrassment though and pretty soon the hotelier and her Australian guest are starting to get along…until secrets from the past have the potential to sever their budding relationship for good.

Eeeeep!!! Such a lovely mix of sweet romance (including toe-curling kisses!) and the rigours of real life stresses, all wrapped up with a significant faith thread. Makes for an outstanding inspirational romance!

Having read The Lost Daughter's Irishman last year, I was excited to continue reading about the Fairall family, especially Rory and Aisling. The setting was wonderful and made me want to book a trip to Ireland. The mentions of sea salt air, greenery, and friendly villages along with the realistic nature of the characters and their dilemmas pulled me into the story and kept me reading until I reached the end. The chemistry between Rory and Aidan was perfection, and the friendly banter between them and Aisling made me laugh often. I appreciated the focus on trusting God to direct our paths, even when life seems difficult. I highly recommend this lovely story to anyone who enjoys inspirational romance, and I am looking forward to reading Aisling's story next!

A potential romance dealbreaker
Ms Miller’s new series promises to be another winner. Set in the picturesque environment of a small village in Ireland, family hotel manageress, Rory and Australian tourist, Aidan, feel instant attraction…which neither wants to acknowledge. Aidan’s mission is to claim his family’s heritage, which potentially threatens Rory’s family property! The historical tale of Aidan’s claim, although perhaps not fully validated, is an indication of bygone Irish property conflicts.
A well-written, easy to read novel, with scenery and community events well-described, characters who are not only delightful, but demonstrate a belief that God is in overall charge, and dialogue packed with humour, wit, romance. Readers who find the Fairall name familiar might remember Colin in Ms Miller’s contribution to “Our House in Sycamore Street”, a multi-author series also well worth reading 😊

What a sweet and delightful story set in Ireland!
I thoroughly enjoyed the imagery and drama this story had.
There were castles, ruins, quaint shops, and individuals. This story had a lot of fun and sweet dialogue. I truly enjoyed the banter and tender moments between Rory and Aidan.
They brought lots of relational tension and sweet romance, even when they struggled to determine the actual ownership of the land on which Rory had lived her whole life.
Carolyn Miller is a relatively new author for me to read, and I find that I enjoy her writing style. She had a refreshing way of bringing these characters to life. She captures our attention with fantastic characters, vivid imagery, and heart-touching moments throughout the entire book.
I highly recommend that you pick up this book and read it.

Aidan comes to spend a few nights in Rory’s family castle when he comes to Ireland from Australia to fulfill his grandmother’s wishes. When his visit extends longer, Rory discovers Aidan has an ulterior motive for his visit.

This is a very enjoyable Christian romance with some deep spiritual truths such as the difference in saying you are a Christian and actually walking by faith. The story also includes much laughter and fun as Rory and Aidan come to terms with their attraction versus conflicts.

What a wonderful read, that can be read as a standalone. This is the first story I read in the series and I'm now going back to read the brother's story. This one pulled me in right from the start and had me reading late into the night. The characters are well-developed, and the reactions are genuine. The story is also well-thought-out with a series of twists and turns. I loved the sisters' interactions, some of which had me laughing out loud. This is a faith-based book that doesn't pound it into you, just reflects the peace that comes from knowing and trusting God in both the big and little things. It is a fast-paced read that didn't have a boring moment. Absolutely loved it.

This is a sweet and charming romance. It is a story of two families at odds over property that dates back hundreds of years. I really enjoyed the Christian elements of faith in God‘s plan and praying for direction. There was anger and frustration from digging up old property issues. But thanks to good record keeping, problems are resolved and in the end love conquers all, or at least most. I enjoyed the characters witty banter, the small village camaraderie, and family loyalty. I also enjoyed the descriptive scenes of beautiful Ireland. It is the first book in this series and I look forward to more books to come.

Journey to a castle in the west of Ireland with Aiden as he tries to determine if his family are the rightful owners in Carolyn Miller’s An Irish Kiss. This faith-filled romance kept me turning the pages to find out how the story would end for Aiden and his developing relationship with Rory whose family currently owns the castle and manages it as a hotel.
If you enjoy contemporary romances with Christian themes, add An Irish Kiss to the top of your to be read pile. You won’t be disappointed, particularly if you enjoy stories with an Irish setting. This is the first book I have read by Miller, and I will explore others in her backlist as I eagerly await the next one in the Fairall Romance Legacy series. Aurora Fairall loves working at her family castle turned hotel (in order to keep a roof over their heads) especially when Australian Aidan Quinn shows up as a guest! But wait! Aidan is looking for a castle belonging to his grandmother's family! Attorneys get involved but not all of the sparks between Aidan and Rory have to do with the castles! I enjoy genealogy and found this story intriguing! I recommend An Irish Kiss to others. I received a complimentary e-book from the author. This is my honest opinion.

I had fun trying out a new setting from Carolyn Miller! Carolyn has a lovely ability to create approachable characters in multiple places, even ones she has not actually lived in herself.

Rory was sweet (like normal) and Aidan was as thoughtful as usual, and I’m here for it.
I also enjoy seeing how Carolyn weaves in her Australian roots to many of her stories.

I did struggle a bit with how quickly the characters swung from angst toward each other back into attraction, but I think the Fairall Legacy covered that just fine!

Somehow, more gentle, but still packs quite a punch.

I'm not a fan of love at first sight, or of whirlwind romances, but Carolyn handles both so well in this book.
Rory & Aiden are so human & honest. They don't let attraction overrule their faith or their sense. Every meeting, every conversation is the perfect balance of friendship & courtship. It all flows easily & naturally. I really liked them both, and Aisling and Man, too.

a cozy Irish/ Australian romance with a bit of mystery

An Australian man (Aidan) come visiting Ireland looking for a lost connection to family and land. He stays in a castle owned by those he thinks stole his family’s land and has his heart stolen by the Irish lass (Rory/ Aurora) from that family. It is a Christian closed door romance. I look forward to reading the story of Rory’s sister in the next book.

The main characters learn they can't rely on themselves and need to turn to God for help.

The castle in Ireland is the perfect setting and sows that a book can be written about a family that isn't perfect like most families in real life.

This book has it all. I love a good story about community, family and a good bit of history. Thanks Carolyn for writing about yet another interesting and well portrayed group of people. It’s nearly as good as your regency books! I loved the witty conversations between characters and the way 5he plot had them re-examining their embedded beliefs and stereotypes. Of course the happy ending made this a most worthwhile read. Hanging out to read Mor of these peoples lives.

After reading The Lost Daughter's Irishman, I was looking forward to reading more about the Fairall family.

I felt that Aidan and Aurora's story was a little rushed, but otherwise, it was a sweet story with lots of banter and fun. Really, what's not to love about a story set in Ireland, including castles, bookshops, and the sea?

Rory and Aidan’s faith carry them through the Emerald Isle on an adventure of finding the truth behind a mysterious castle on the family estate. While searching for the truth they find love, family, and a longing for helping others in their community. A beautiful book very well written can’t wait to continue reading about the Fairall sisters!
