• 𝐓𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐬 - - billionaire romance - fake fiancée - age gap - trauma healing love - protective MMC - slow burn with spice - small town romance - fake fiancé - swoony millionaire cinnamon roll - a touch of suspense - a fun valentine HEA
• 𝐌𝐲 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 - Mr. Banks is not just a billionaire romance. It is emotional, raw, and surprisingly deep, offering so much more than just glitz and glamour. Grace carries childhood wounds, abandonment issues, and a dark past that still shadows her, making her journey feel painfully real and relatable. The way her vulnerabilities are written is both heartbreaking and honest she isn’t perfect, she isn’t “fixed,” and that’s exactly what makes her story resonate. Ben Banks is rich, powerful, and confident, yet he is patient, respectful, and steady in the ways that truly matter. Their story begins with a fake engagement, but the emotions never feel forced or superficial. Every interaction between them feels deliberate, slow-burning, and layered. This book handles trauma with incredible sensitivity. Grace’s healing is not instantaneous, and she remains scared, messy, and human in the most authentic way. Ben doesn’t swoop in to “fix” her; instead, he stays, listens, and protects her without ever trying to control her. Their connection is built on mutual respect, patience, and understanding, which makes their romance feel both soft and intense. The emotional depth of this story stayed with me long after I turned the last page. L.M. Fox masterfully balances romance, suspense, and personal growth, creating a story that feels both thrilling and safe at the same time. Mr. Banks made me feel deeply - seen, emotional, and completely absorbed. Ben Banks has officially secured a spot as one of my favorite book boyfriends of 2026. Thank you so much, Hambright PR, for the free ARC!
I binged this novella within a few hours. A romantic suspense that kept me turning pages throughout the entire book.
From being jilted AND ROBBED by her bf, now ex bf, Grace is now in even worse shape than she was before. Taking care of her mom who has late stage emphysema, Grace is trying to make ends meet. Since her ex took her good car and left her with his broke down truck that rarely starts, Grace is always on the cusp of losing her low-paying but much needed job since she literally has no reliable transportation anymore.
However, I’d like to give credit to this broke down truck because it’s literally what brought the sexy billionaire Mr. Ben Banks into her life! (Take that you scummy ex, Brad!) Mr. Banks saves the day when he happens upon Grace and her flat tire and has her truck towed. When Grace asks how she could ever repay him, he simply says, “Have dinner with me.”
Thus begins a fun night where Grace needs to pretend for Ben for his current job prospect. That was a fun scene!
Time passes and Ben can’t stop thinking about her. Grace runs into some trouble and then an opportunity seems to arrive just in time which she can’t refuse! And without spoiling anything, this is where the suspense ensues and where I recommend you grabbing this novella for a quick read snuggled up!

Thank you Hambright PR and L. M. Fox for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for my honest review!
LM Fox has become one of my must read authors and Mr. Banks is just another reason why. Mr. Banks is the kind of romance that grabs your attention by page one and makes you not want to put it down.
Grace and Ben’s story is tender, heartfelt, and beautifully told. They meet at pivotal moments in their lives, and the genuine, effortless connection between them keeps drawing them back together—whether by chance or a touch of fate. The way they truly see one another, in the most sincere and meaningful way, is what makes this story so powerful. Their trust feels natural and immediate, and the love that grows between them is portrayed with warmth and authenticity, radiating from every page.
The banter is sharp, the attraction is electric, and every interaction feels like a delicious game of push-and-pull you can’t look away from. L.M. Fox does an amazing job of building that slow-burn intensity while still giving plenty of swoon-worthy moments along the way.

If you want a fast billionaire romance with cozy vibes, this fits the bill.
Ben Banks comes off as a classic power-driven billionaire, but he is really a soft, quietly devoted man who falls first and means it. Grace is easy to care about, struggling yet resilient, and I appreciated that she never needed saving even when life kept stacking the odds against her. The fake fiancé setup is fun, the small town atmosphere adds charm, and their chemistry is sweet enough to keep the pages turning.
The story does move very quickly, which made the romance feel more pleasant than deeply emotional for me, and the suspense element is light and mostly forgettable. Still, the characters are likable, the vibes are good, and Ben’s steady affection carries a lot of the heart.
I did not fall in love with this one, but I enjoyed my time with it and would still be open to reading more from the series.

Thank you #HambrightPR and #LMFox for the ARC. If you’re looking for a quick read that has romance, longing and a sprinkle of emotional roller coaster then this is for you. I ploughed through this within a few hours and really enjoyed the levels to this romance, there was nothing fast or unrealistic about how Ben and Grace grew their relationship, even for a billionaire romance. This was humble in a way and the pinch of spice in here was chefs kiss! ❤️

Ok, can we take a minute and appreciate this cover!!!!! I can’t stop looking at it 😍😍😍😍
I really enjoyed this book. Grace and Ben have this amazing connection and I loved their banter. I also really liked how we get to see their relationship grow and their experience felt so real and authentic. She is dealing with past trauma and Ben is very patient and caring.
We also get a little suspense and drama and some cameos too!

another great book by LM Fox. Ben Banks is another dreamy book boyfriend. Grace is such a strong, resilient character. this book gives some pretty women vibes and I love that. I was left with a couple questions but otherwise it's a great read.
I received an advance copy of this book and am leaving this review voluntarily
Mr Banks..... where to start, why aren't all men like him, romantic, thoughtfull, sexy and much more, one of my favourite books kept me engaged and wanting the happy ever after, L M Fox books never disapoint ❤️
What a delightful read. Ben and Grace meet when he stops to help her. Grace has hit rock bottom and Ben is determined to, at least, make her smile...he also needs a favour!! If you like fake marriage, age-gap books, then you will love this. I received a copy of this book from the author for an honest review.
Mr. Banks is another fun addition to the Billionaire Boys Club series, and I loved seeing so many familiar characters make appearances. This story follows Grace, whose full name is Graceland, and she is seriously down on her luck. Between a string of pretty terrible boyfriends and bouncing between odd jobs, life has not been kind to her.
The book opens with Grace living with her boyfriend Brad, but very early on he leaves and takes almost everything with him, including her car. The one thing he does leave behind is his beater truck. Left scrambling and trying to figure out her next steps, Grace starts working on getting her life back together and preparing to move out of the apartment she can no longer afford.
That is when she meets Ben Banks. She is driving Brad’s unreliable truck when it breaks down, and Ben pulls over to help her. He immediately comes across as older, successful, and on his way to an important meeting. Ben offers to fix her problems if she agrees to have dinner with him. What Grace does not realize is that this dinner is actually a business meeting involving a potential property purchase.
Things quickly take a humorous turn when the two find themselves pretending to be engaged for the sake of the business deal. What starts as a simple arrangement turns awkward and entertaining fast, especially with the property owner adding to the chaos. After the meeting ends, Ben and Grace go their separate ways without exchanging any personal information, and Ben assumes he will never see her again.
That changes when he unexpectedly spots Grace’s photo in a very surprising place. With the help of his fellow billionaire boys and a tiny bit of stalking, Ben manages to track her down. When they finally cross paths again, the story slowly builds as their relationship develops. I was definitely eager for them to get together, but luck was not always on their side.
Eventually, Ben steps in to help Grace once more, and the two embark on a full Viva Las Vegas experience, complete with a Vegas wedding. One of my favorite tropes is fake relationships and marriages of convenience, especially when they turn into something real, and this book delivered exactly that.
Overall, this was a great read. I really enjoyed the new characters, loved how the book ended, and appreciated the growth of Ben and Grace’s relationship over time. Grace’s mom and her love of Elvis were an absolute highlight and added so much charm to the story. Great read!
I opened this thinking “cute little novella” and next thing I know I’m grinning at my screen, fully invested, emotionally involved, and ready to fight anyone who hurts Grace.⚡️
Ben and Grace are honestly like two peas in a very unexpected pod.🤍
The kind of pairing that sneaks up on you and suddenly you’re smiling at your phone like an idiot.🙂↔️😉
It’s a super fun, very cute novella, and I will never get tired of a billionaire who would move mountains for a woman who doesn’t yet see her own worth. I eat that trope up. Every. Single. Time.
Both Ben and Grace come with real hardships, the kind that don’t magically disappear, and the small moments between them slowly build that cozy, small-town connection that makes everything feel warmer and more real.
Grace is barely holding things together. She’s constantly on the edge of losing her low-paying but absolutely necessary job, mainly because her truck is on its last breath. And honestly, shoutout to that broken-down truck because it’s the reason the very charming, very rich Mr. Ben Banks crashes into her life. Flat tire, chance meeting, and suddenly he’s towing her truck and casually asking for dinner as repayment.
Mr. Banks is so much more than a billionaire romance. It’s emotional, raw, and quietly powerful. Grace carries childhood wounds, abandonment issues, and a past that still lingers, and none of it is glossed over or magically fixed. Her vulnerability feels honest and deeply relatable.
If you like: 💌billionaire × soft girl 🎀slow burn without boredom 🙂↔️men who show up quietly 🖤romance with an edge
Ben doesn’t save her. He stays. He protects without owning. He waits. Green 💚 flag behaviour in a genre that usually forgets what that looks like.🫶🏼
This book felt like warmth with an edge. Soft moments wrapped around real struggle. A fast read that left me feeling full in a way I wasn’t expecting.
If you want a cozy billionaire romance with heart, tension, and just enough suspense to keep you hooked, this one is worth your time.
I would like to start out by saying thank you to L.M. Fox and Hambright PR for this ARC in exchange for my honest review!
L.M. Fox has done it again and she has easily become an auto read author for me! I completely adored this one! This was well paced and a quick read that kept my attention the entire time!
Honestly, I just thought this was going to be the standard billionaire romance trope but I was blown away by the depth that was put into this novel. This was an extremely emotional and deep story compared to most billionaire romances that I have read. L.M. Fox definitely broke the mold with this one and I am so thoroughly impressed.
This was an absolute rollercoaster of emotions. I have no shame admitting that I cried, giggled several minutes later and then was having anxiety shortly after. There were several sensitive topics touched on in this book but L.M. Fox did it so well! However, I would suggest checking your trigger warnings!
Grace is so relatable and my heart ached for her. She carries so much baggage and she is down bad on her luck. I was rooting for her the whole time and all I wanted was to see things work out for her. L.M. Fox did a wonderful job writing a beautiful soul that deserved the world.
Ben is the prime example of the perfect billionaire MMC. He is sophisticated, respectful and powerful. Everything he does feels deliberate especially when it comes to Grace. Like I how he treated Grace with the utmost respect and patience. So many other billionaire MMCs would have tried and swoop in and fix all of her problems but Ben was so gentle with Grace instead.
Grace and Ben's relationship was super special. There were so many tender moments and I loved watching their story progress. Everything about them as a couple, from the way that they treated one another to their chemistry, felt intentional. L.M. Fox just really outdid herself.
Would I suggest this to a friend? Yes! Would I reread? Yes! Would I like a trophy? Yes! Don't tell my husband.. he just doesn't understand LOL.
This was my first read by L.M. Fox, and it definitely won’t be my last. I was hooked from the very first page, and even though I devoured this book in just three hours, it never once felt rushed or lacking in detail. From the start, we’re shown the hardships Grace has faced since childhood, which really explains her determination to keep her head held high and do whatever it takes to care for her mother’s health.
Ben is a millionaire determined to build his own name without relying on his family’s influence. When he finds himself in a bind, he has no choice but to strike a deal with the damsel in distress he meets stranded on the side of the road. What was only supposed to be one dinner quickly turns into so much more, because after one night with Grace, Ben knows all bets are off. The lengths Ben went to make sure Grace knew how deeply he cared for her were absolutely amazing, even when he did it quietly, without her realizing it at first. He was incredibly swoony, all in from the start, and once he knew he wanted her, he was willing to go to great lengths to make sure she was safe, loved, and protected.
This book is a standalone in The Billionaire Boys Club series. There are trigger warnings that should be reviewed, as the story touches on situations that should never happen to anyone. I really appreciated how L.M. Fox handled the aftermath of these events and shed light on how people can be misled due to low self-esteem or the pressure to get ahead in life, those realities are heartbreaking and important to acknowledge. And of course… what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas… right?
Thank you to Hambright PR for the ARC. This review is given honestly.
This book is short, fast, and hits like a Valentine’s Day sugar rush with a side of feelings. Ben Banks is the kind of hero who looks like a ruthless empire builder on paper but is actually a cinnamon roll wrapped in money and quiet devotion. He falls first. He falls hard. And once he locks onto Grace, that’s it. Tunnel vision. Blueprint rewritten. Empire be damned.
Grace stole my whole heart. Down on her luck, strong without being invincible, vulnerable without being weak. She doesn’t need saving, but watching Ben want to give her safety, stability, and a future had me melting into a puddle. Their chemistry is instant, messy, and full of that delicious fake relationship tension where every glance feels like it’s about to tip into something real.
The fake fiancé setup? Chef’s kiss. The small town vibes? Cozy but not boring. The age gap? Done right, with respect and yearning instead of weirdness. And the way one night changes everything felt organic and emotional instead of rushed, which is impressive for a faster-paced read.
I also loved the little suspense thread woven in. Just enough edge to keep me turning pages faster, plus the cameos from other LM Fox couples felt like running into old friends at exactly the right moment.
Ben and Grace together just work. Their HEA felt earned, soft, and deeply satisfying. I finished this book smiling like an idiot and immediately wanting to reread it.
If you love fake relationships that turn painfully real, billionaire heroes who are secretly absolute sweethearts, and heroines you root for from page one, Mr. Banks is a must-read. I loved Grace and Ben so much, and I am officially obsessed with the Billionaire Boys Club. 💖📖
Grace is stranded on the side of the road with a flat tire. How much worse can her life get? She came home to find her boyfriend had packed up and left. Not only with his stuff, but also with everything of value she owned. Taking her car and leaving her with his piece of junk truck.
Her horrible boss made her come in for an extra shift, making her late for her dog-sitting. A dog who decided to play in the sprinklers. Now she is standing with muddy dog paws across her chest with a flat tire when the most gorgeous man she has laid eyes on stops to help.
Ben left England to follow an online romance only to find out she was more interested in his money than anything else. Now he was on his way to meet with the man who he hopes will sell him his run-down hotel and hopes he can make up enough excuses to hide he isn't in a relationship from the man determined only to sell to a married couple.
I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. Grace agrees to let her white knight take her to dinner, not realizing that the man they were meeting thought she was Ben's fiancée.
This book is action-packed and hilarious, but also devastating! Grace grew up in a shrine to the King... Elvis, the King of Rock & Roll and Ben's plans to give Grace a better experience of Vegas than she has had revolve around Elvis's movie Viva Las Vegas as he plans a bucket list full of fun, Elvis style.
I can't wait to read the upcoming stories of all the members of the Billionaire's Boys Club. Highly recommend anything by LM Fox!
First, I would like to thank @hambright_pr and @lmfoxromance for the advanced ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.
Grace is a hardworking young woman doing her best to build a life for herself. Unfortunately, she finds herself stuck with a do-nothing boyfriend who is more freeloader than partner. After his departure, Grace quite literally finds herself stranded, until she meets Ben, who comes to her rescue on the side of the road.
But Grace isn’t the only one in need of saving. Ben, a wealthy bachelor, is hoping to purchase and renovate a beautiful lakefront property into a boutique hotel. There’s just one problem. The current owner, a man who was deeply devoted to his late wife, wants to pass the property on to someone who shares those same strong marital ties. Ben’s status as a single, wealthy bachelor may cost him the opportunity.
Determined not to lose the deal, Ben devises a risky and unconventional plan. What starts as a quick solution soon turns into something neither of them expected, paving the way for a heartfelt and satisfying happily ever after.
I devoured this story! LM Fox creates incredibly likable characters and delivers a compelling, emotionally engaging storyline. The author effortlessly pulls readers through a range of emotions, making it hard to put the book down. This can definitely be more of a stand alone read and you bet that I will absolutely be reading the other books in this series.
If you’re a romance reader, this is one to pick up. Dive into the world of Ben and Grace, you won’t regret it.

🏘️ Small Town Romance 🤏🏼 Age Gap 💍 Fake Fiancé 💰 Swoony Millionaire Cinnamon Roll 😱 A Touch of Suspense 💕 A Fun Valentine HEA
This book honestly had me feeling everything. I was smiling, crying, and laughing my way through it, sometimes all within the same chapter. It is such a feel good love story, but it still manages to surprise you in ways you do not necessarily expect. I found myself completely invested by the time I finished the first page!
Both characters are starting over, and that alone made the story feel so real for me because I found myself relating to the main female character. She is carrying a lot, from family responsibilities to financial stress, and it constantly feels like life is stacked against her. She has been hurt too many times and truly believes maybe she is the problem. Then she meets him, someone with his own secrets and pressures, and their worlds collide in a way that is anything but normal. There is an age gap, a rich meets poor dynamic, and a situation that throws them together before either of them is ready.
I loved the emotional rollercoaster. He falls first, while she is just trying to survive and keep moving forward. Their priorities are vastly different, some of her choices frustrate him, and yet there is this undeniable pull between them. Their love story starts in a really unconventional way but slowly turns into something soft, emotional, and surprisingly deep. The spicy scenes were literally perfect! This was an easy five star read for me and one of those books that leaves you feeling warm and fuzzy all over afterwards!
Ben and Grace !!! OMG !!! The way these two hooked me so completely , the the way their story pulled at all my heartstrings and had me laughing out loud , smiling like crazy even sobbing like a baby , yelling outta pure frustration and kept me cheering so freaking hard . Well I honestly do not think there really are any perfect words to express how in love with this story I fell .. I loved how likable and relatable Grace and Ben both were . I loved that both had flaws and that their journey had obstacles and struggles, that it wasn’t all hearts and flowers . Grace was such a great heroine- sure she was down on her luck , just trying to take care of her mother , dealing with the emotional aftermath of her ex and doing everything she can to keep her job . Ben comes into her life in the most unexpected of ways and when she needs someone the most . The way he was so supportive of everything she was going through, the brightness he brought to her life , the way he helped her heal - so beautiful and so emotional. I loved watching them fall in love . I loved all the angst and the humor and the witty banter , the drama , the family and friendships. The moments that made me smile, laugh, cry ugly tears and cheer so freaking hard . What a emotional rollercoaster that just sucks you right in and does not let go .
I was able to ARC read Mr. Banks. It's a great book! I've read LM Fox before so her work isn't something new to me. I read The Bitter Rival as well as Mr. Second Best. I loved those series so I knew that I would love this book as well. This book is a billionaire holiday romance. This book is the second book in the interconnected The Billionaire Series. Ben needs a financé and runs into Grace. Going into the book, I was surprised. I was trying to predict who the FMC was in the beginning. Then I realized the person who I thought was the FMC was the best friend of the FMC. I went into the book basically blind. I didn't read the other review people made or anything. I didn't want to be influenced by anything other than what the blurb said when I signed up for the ARC read. I loved that Ben wasn't the type of person who made everything that Grace was going through better or fix it. He was there as the protective person making sure that she was ok. I was so glad that he was all alpha male. He has a more gentler hand when it came to what Grace was going through while making small gestures in a way. Like making sure that she experienced her bucket list in Vegas to making sure she wasn't in debt. Then trying to make sure he treated her differently because he knew she wasn't like anyone else he was with. I should also mention that this is an age gap book incase you don't like age gaps in your books. I loved that this book is available just in time for Valentine's Day.
These characters were exhausting. For starters both of them had terrible exes. They both swore they would take a break from dating, but the moment they see each other, they’re head over heels for each other. They literally know each other for one day! Where’s the connection??
The FMC was annoying and made bad decisions. She doesn’t have ANYTHING or anyone to help her with her current situation, and she still turns down the MMC when he wants to help. And she doesn’t stand up for her self in any situation! Ughhh!
This is age gap and the author makes sure you don’t forget because the FMC constantly says things like “Of course he’s been to Las Vegas, he’s an older man.” Baby girl, he 34. Calm down…
The MMC gave me the ick because he says the FMC looks innocent and too young, but then he proceeds to ask her to be his fake fiancée. And if he talked about that damn tank top with cheetah paws on it one more time, I was going to scream!
The pacing of this story was all over the place, there was too many inconsistencies, and the romance is based off of lust. Nothing more, nothing less. I just stopped caring about what happened next.
I really enjoyed this book! It was very emotional from the get go with some childhood trauma at the beginning for our FMC Grace when her father leaves her mother. Grace is a beautiful young woman who unfortunately just cannot catch a break... At the beginning she is in an awful relationship with her boyfriend Brad who is a tool and a freeloader. While Grace works at an awful job she hates and does every little thing she can to save money to help pay for her medically fragile mother's medications and care. Her jerk boyfriend takes advantage and does nothing to help her and only cares about his satisfaction. One day Grace comes home from work to find Brad the POS bf left and took everything including her car and left her with practically nothing but his broken down truck. When said truck breaks down our MMC Ben happens to come upon her and he is instantly smitten. Ben is well off much more well off than Grace but he needs a fake fiancée in order to secure a big deal on a hotel he is trying to buy. This is a he falls first book and the spice was great! I really enjoyed all the representation of her medically needy mother, anxiety and emotions. All the twists at the end had me shook! There were some things I easily predicted and others I never saw coming!
This story gave me all the Cinderella/Pretty woman vibes!
This was a fast paced standalone in the Billionaires Club series and it was a rollercoaster of emotions from the very first page.
Grace has had an unlucky set of events that literally left her without nothing. It seems poor Grace can't take a break, and that's a shame because she is caring, a hard worker and a good daughter.
Mr. Ben Bank is currently focusing on making a name for himself outside of his family's name. He is not looking for love after his ex did a number on him but when he needs a fake fiancé in order to appease the owner of the hotel he wants to purchase and destiny puts the perfect damsel in distress in the middle of the road with a broken truck he acts on impulse and embarks Grace to be his fake fiancé only what supposed to be fake doesn't feel so fake.
After they parts ways the next day neither of them can't stop thinking about each other but life gets in the way only Ben is determine to find Grace once again and when he does he knows that she is the one and so when things once again get rough for her, he is there protecting her and showing her how truly beautiful and special she is.
Life hasn’t been easy for Grace. Her mom has emphysema. And her social security and insurance don’t cover all of bills and medications. So, Grace has been trying to help her mother and pay her own bills. Then her bum of a boyfriend leaves Grace but takes everything of value from their apartment. But leaves her his truck that is on its last leg. Of course, on Grace’s way to work the truck breaks down. Ben sees her and offers to help her. Then asks if she could pretend that she is his fiancé for the night. She agrees. After that night Ben can’t seem to get Grace off of his mind. He then enlists his friend to help him find her. He coincidentally keeps running into her. Will she give him a chance when she finds out the truth? This was a great story. I love how even when Grace is at her lowest point she still tries to fight back! Grace is the perfect daughter. Trying beyond her means to help her mother, in every way she can. Even when people are treating her terribly at her job. She just keeps on doing what she can to support them. Ben is a complete Golden retriever! His dream is just to have a family! He is so sweet to Grace. He even comes clean about the coincidental meet ups. I love it when fate steps in to show you that they were meant to be!
A millionaire romance with an age gap, hint of suspense, fake fiancé, and adorable lighthearted moments!
Tropes 🏠 Small Town Romance 💍 Fake Fiancé ⏳ Age Gap 💰 Cinnamon Roll Millionaire 😱 Touch of Suspense 💖 He Falls First
Grace struggled financially her whole life, with her mom’s medical bills racking up and not having much to her name she makes a rash decision. But when Ben practically sweeps her off her feet and shows her how she truly deserves to be loved she can’t help but want him.
Ben’s got more than enough money but he intends to actually make an impact and have a meaningful life. He needs to find a wife and it was practically fate that he ran into Grace! When he starts falling for her he realizes his past relationships were a means to an end and that what he feels for her is the real deal!
I was so happy to see Grace get her happy ending. I was rooting for her throughout the book! Her relationship with her mom and Winnie is so adorable as well!! So many happy and heartfelt moments! This cute little novella had me addicted from the start and I didn’t wanna put it down! Ben and Graces dynamic and witty replies were really the cherry on top! Truly the perfect little Valentines read!
Mr. Banks was so good—I finished it in one sitting. It has an age gap, fake fiancé, small-town romance, a touch of suspense, and so much more.
The story follows Ben and Grace. Ben crossed the ocean for a woman who eventually cheated on him, while Grace was dating a bum who nearly stole everything she owned. Fate keeps pushing Ben and Grace together, and when Ben invites Grace to dinner, she unexpectedly finds herself agreeing to pretend to be his fake fiancée.
Ben’s insecurities about relationships and his fear of being a failure—especially compared to his billionaire stepfather and stepbrothers—were beautifully written. Grace’s insecurity about people leaving her, shaped by her relationship with her father, was also handled so well.
One thing that really stood out was how far Ben was willing to go to protect Grace, and how deeply he loved and cared for her. His description of Grace when he first met her was especially memorable. I also loved how the side characters complemented the main characters without overshadowing them.
This is a 4-star read, and I highly recommend it. Thank you to the author and Hambright PR for this ARC 🤍
Mr. Banks delivers a familiar romance setup but executes it with charm, warmth, and strong character chemistry. The story follows Ben Banks, a driven businessman whose dream project hinges on one unexpected condition: he must appear to be a family man. Enter a chance encounter that turns into a dinner, and eventually, a life-altering arrangement.
The strength of this book lies in its characters. Ben is more than the typical billionaire archetype—he’s guarded, flawed, and shaped by past relationships. The heroine complements him well, bringing emotional grounding and a sense of realism that balances the high-stakes premise.
The pacing is well handled, moving steadily without rushing key emotional beats. The romance builds naturally, with believable tension and moments of vulnerability that elevate the story beyond surface-level attraction.
While the trope itself isn’t new, L.M. Fox’s writing keeps it engaging, making this an enjoyable and immersive read for fans of contemporary billionaire romance.
⭐️ Overall Rating: 4/5 stars
