You might want to make sure to double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love along the way. Anastasia, the baby of the family, is finally grown up ready to live, going on a few adventures but that isn’t what her brothers had in store for her, and they present her with an arranged marriage with the pretax of protection. Aiden sexy as all get out agrees to the arranged marriage but those around him know he is brutal when needed, deadly every day, will do what is needed to protect those he loves, taking his wife home only to be told she will be sharing her body with him without feelings of love between them and boy do they test one another will power but when his enemies come for him he knows he will do what needs to be done to protect her but he also know he loves her will he tell her about his feelings, will she tell him, will she get the adventures she longed for, and will they get the happiness they seek?

I knew going into Darkest Love that Adrien Dubois was going to be intense—but wow, this book took it to another level. From the very first page, I was pulled into a marriage that’s equal parts political power play and dangerous chemistry. Adrien doesn’t believe in love, but every glance, every touch, every word he throws at his wife oozes tension and forbidden heat.
What I loved most is how Ivy Davis writes Adrien as this cold, controlled mafia man who simultaneously terrifies and enthralls. He’s not some cardboard alpha; he’s complex, layered, and maddeningly alluring. And the heroine—her heart is completely vulnerable, but she’s strong enough to stand her ground, even when every fiber of her being wants to surrender.
The story isn’t just about passion; the suspense with Adrien’s enemies adds stakes that had my pulse racing. I couldn’t stop turning pages, wondering what would happen next, and how these two would navigate a marriage that’s both intoxicating and perilous.

An excellent story about a young woman who gets married to a man who only wants her to gain power by making an alliance with her brother-in-laws. The man even informs of it after she agrees to marry him.
The young woman wants to have adventures and she can’t do that being around her family who won’t let her out of the house.
After the wedding and the reception they go to the city that he lives in which is out of the country and away from her family. It doesn’t take long before she’s homesick. The couple has tried to stay away from one another due to his ability not to have feelings for a woman even though he’s starting to have feelings for her.
Getting grabbed by his enemy he finds out that she can take care of herself and they escape from his enemy’s clutches. They become intimate shortly afterwards but he walks away before things can get too emotional.
It doesn’t take long for the young woman’s family to come for a visit and the men can talk about his enemy. The men go to find the enemy but the enemy goes to the house where the women are at. By the time the men come back the enemy has the young woman which makes the man pay him back. The young woman gets hurt, the man takes her and her mother as well as her sisters with them to the hospital where she gets treated.
The two decide that they want to be together. The family stays until the young woman is better. The man tends to the enemy and goes back to the woman who has made him happy.
The couple are finally loving one another and are happy.

Loved every minute of Adrien and Anastasia!
He told her that he would never love her, but I knew that was false. It took them both being saved by one another to see that they do have some sort of feelings for another. Especially Adrien the man who hasn’t even loved another woman but his mother because they leave after feelings get involved but Anastasia was not giving up, she has been a prisoner her whole life and was finally looking forward to this adventure to Adrien but then she found out things that she was not happy with. One was he was planning to have relations with other women still and Ana was going to put a stop to that. Two he would never love her, they were marrying got alliance as he was the French mafia and she was assurance that he wouldn’t be screwed over by Nico. But when certain situations arise he finally feels the love for his wife when he thought he would lose her and that’s the let thing they both want. They call a truce and finally give that they will actually try with this relationship and if love grows it grows but I have a feeling that won’t be hard for them when some feeling is already there. Ana was ready to hand her heart over to Adrien the first time they met. Bless her heart.

Okay… Ana’s story? Honestly, it had me all kinds of conflicted. She’s been craving freedom and adventure her whole life, but just when she thinks she might finally have a shot at it, she lands in yet another “cage”—this time Mikhail’s house. Safe? Sure. But also… very confining.
Adrien… sigh. He’s all about power, money, and control, and when he asks Ana for a marriage alliance, it feels like a whole lot of “business first, feelings never.” Ana wants love—real, messy, undeniable love—and Adrien? Doesn’t do love. So how does a heart like hers survive a union like this?
Watching them navigate this slow-burn tension, mutual protection, and the occasional reluctant respect was… something else. The chemistry is there, just simmering under all the power plays and misunderstandings. And while it wasn’t flawless (sometimes the plot felt a little too “arranged for drama”), there’s something satisfying about seeing them gradually realize that maybe working together could actually mean having it all.
It’s not perfect, it’s not explosive, but it’s intriguing, emotional, and Ana and Adrien’s slow dance toward trust and maybe love is worth the ride.

An arranged marriage Mafia romance. MMC wants to go into business with a certain mafia family. FMC is the baby of the family and has always been protected and sheltered, which she hates. She craves freedom. He decides the best way to handle the situation where he will get what he wants is to marry FMC, Ana. Ana wants her freedom but thinks this is the best way out from under her family’s protection. The marriage isn’t made in Heaven for sure. MMC, Adrien, doesn’t believe in love. He also doesn’t really treat Ana right. He is upfront with the fact that he will not stay faithful to her and will never love her. She fights back with; you can’t have my body if you don’t want my heart. Then things change- they get into a little trouble that brings them closer together and to their HEA. This is the fourth book in the series and even though it’s a standalone, they are interconnected. I find the writing a little choppy. The pace isn’t always consistent. There was tension between the MCs. The story is a very familiar one and this one doesn’t have much that makes it stand out from the rest. 3.5 stars

This was a good interesting story although much less exciting then the previous books. It was shorter and fairly sedated with no much action. The main conflict is that Ana is tricked a bit into marrying Adrien because her sisters husbands want to make an alliance with him. He will only trust them if he is tied in marriage to Ana. But he doesn’t tell her until after that he plans to cheat and will never have any feelings for her. She gets very angry and refuses any intimacy with him. The entire story revolves around this stalemate but even that isn’t very in depth. The story was a bit disappointing in that it was almost boring. I think the author missed a chance to have a great story by not digging deeper into the emotions of the characters and the dynamics of the relationship. Everything was very surface level.

When she agrees to marry the french mafia leader Adrien (a friend of her sisters Sashas husband Nico) to create another political aliance for power she thinks it will be her fairytale until Adrien crushes her dreams telling her he doesnt believe in love. With each cruel touch and desire between them it breaks Ana more and more, but when Adriens enemies come for her will he finally be able to admit his true feelings? Well written engaging steamy, mafia romance, this one is shorter than the previous ones in these series and didn't feel so indepth story wise, and the ending was quite abrupt with no type of reunion ending for the sisters which i felt it missed.

The writing is vivid and atmospheric, and the chemistry between the characters is undeniable. Ivy Davis does a great job balancing passion with darker themes, making the story feel raw, heartfelt, and addictive.
I especially enjoyed how layered the main characters were—their flaws, struggles, and vulnerabilities made them feel real. The pacing kept me turning pages quickly, though at times I wished a few scenes had been developed a little more deeply to match the weight of the story.
Overall, this is a powerful and compelling romance with an edge, perfect for readers who enjoy love stories that are both beautiful and a little bit broken. I’m definitely looking forward to reading more from Ivy Davis

This one was a quick read, which left me wishing it had been longer, but it still packed plenty of punch. Adrien Dubois is the perfect cold French mafia husband... distant, controlled, and frustratingly impossible not to fall for. The push and pull between him and his new wife kept me hooked, and every time he let a crack show in his icy exterior, my heart melted a little more. I loved the tension, the danger, and the moments where his protectiveness slipped through. If it had been a bit longer, I think the story would have felt even more complete, but I still really enjoyed this mafia romance. I'm so glad Ana got her happily ever after!.

I’ve read worse mafia romance. I’ve also read much better. Ivy Davis has become very hit or miss for me. This series has been awful. The mafiosi are bumbling around like keystone cops and I honestly have no idea how crime gets committed by these people because they don’t appear to have the brain capacity needed. The romance initially goes as follows:
Her: I’m bored. Love me.
Him: no.
It’s a very slow burn on the sexytime, but it’s a slow burn on romance too. And a slow burn on plot. To be honest, I lost interest.
I’m sure that someone will like this book, and this whole series. But that person is not me.

Ana thought that after being released from the home "prison" her uncle kept her in for over 2 years that she would finally get to experience some of the things other girls her age get to do. She finds that living under the same roof with her oldest sister is just another form of the prison she just left. Then meets Adrien Dubois who is one of her brother-in-law's associates. Being naive, she quickly falls under the spell of the handsome, French Mafia man who wants to marry her to solidify an alliance with her older sister's husband. There is danger, some surprisingly tender moments as Adrien who has pledged to never love anyone soon find that Ana has melted his hardened heart.

I think this was the most infuriating book out of all four.
Surprisingly i liked Ana. She was the least insufferable of the sisters. My problems lay with the main male character Adrien. I'm sorry but there was not one likable or redeemable quality about this man. Everything with him centered on sex. And the way he treated Ana when she wouldn't sleep with him was so aggravating.
Also, the whole book just seemed rushed. It was shorter than the other three and the ending was shootout, sudden insta-love and boom, done. At least Ana wasn't being kidnapped or possibly r#ped every three pages so small blessings, I suppose.
I'm rather happy I'm done with this series. I don't think I could have taken much more.

If you’ve read the series then you’ll want to know what happens when Ana’s dream of a happily ever after clashes with Adrien’s happily for one night only! And if you’re new to Ivy Davis or this series, this book can be read as a standalone.

Being the youngest they always called her Baby. Anastasia (Ana) gets tired of being reminded of that and also always being protected and feeling like a prisoner that she jumps at the first chance to get married.

This book was a nice change of pace from most Mafia books. I loved that it was short and spend time explaining the characters. This was a much slower paced book and focused more on the home life with only a little bit of the Mafia active. I love how we got to see how they changed and came together. I recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a change of pace from most mafia books that are very dark.

A slow burn mafia book!
Bored out of her mind, Ana wants an adventure. As the baby of the family everyone is always trying to protect her, she just wants to have fun and fall in love.
Adrien wants more power, and he believes that marriage alliance will get him more power. However, he doesn't want a marriage of love, just business.
Thrown together, the two are put thru and adventure Ana never saw coming. Can they make it through without losing themselves or their life.
This is a great slow burn, low spice book!

This is the fourth book in The Dark Mafia Series it's written as a standalone but would be better read in order as each book is interconnected. This dark, steamy mafia romance has some action, betrayal, death, secrets reveled, suspense, violence and more. Adrien and Anastasia (Ana) are great characters and their chemistry is off the charts spicy. The storyline is intriguing and wonderfully written. I'd recommend reading this. As usual I look forward to reading more from Ivy Davis.

Darkest Love is the first book I've read from Ivy Davis. It is a short, fast-paced, and spicy mafia romance. I was quickly drawn in and read it in just 2 sittings. The dynamics of Adrien and Ana left me wanting more of their story, wishing it was longer. This is book 4 in the Dark Mafia series, although they can be read as standalones. I look forward to going back and reading the rest of the books in the series.

This is the last book in this series and the last sister who has now twenty, grown up but still called the baby of the family.

A well written story to complete this series that I have loved each and every adventure about these four sisters.

Ana is the baby of the family and always wanted to marry for love though she knew that wouldn't happen. Adrien doesn't believe in love but knows he has to marry to get the power he needs. He makes a deal with Nico to marry his sister-in-law, Ana, in exchange for a partnership. He never expected to catch feelings. Ana wants more from her marriage, will she get it?

Darkest Love is Anastasia and Adrien's story. Their journey is an intense, dramatic, dark, arranged marriage story that pulls you in quickly and keeps you completely engaged in their story. It's not quite as long as this authors books usually are but it doesn't away anything from the story. Another great read from Ms. Davis!

All she wants is love and to be loved but Adrien doesn't do love. Their marriage is an agreement that gives him what he wants but Ana is caught in the midst of it all. Their path is intriguing with twists and turns that had me glued to their journey from start to finish.
